Vita is state of the art physical therapy. Dry needling, specific stretches with a plan for exercises I do at home They provide personal one on one treatment. I'm overwhelmed by their proficiency and treatment. Let's be honest. All PT Phds have Doctorates. Vita personnel have added education and are better qualified. In closing....Thank You Vita!!!!

The evaluation is molded by the person working with you. At Vita I was fortunate to be assigned to Joe. He is cerebral and knowledgeable with an eclectic array of skills. His multi-faceted approach is ideal for someone such as myself, as templates never fit. I am not the norm. Joe understands movement, strength, body manipulation, and the gestalt of health. My aches, inflexibility, and aging are handled with analysis, searching for what in his bag of tricks will work best. Joe is like a Zen Master, and I leave Vita feeling exponentially better. The facility itself is clean, modern and comfortable, with enough space to feel private. Jennifer, Barit, and Gina, the front desk staff, greet you with a down to earth welcome, but they are also worldly, in a refreshing manner. My conversations are always enlightening, plus they are organized and keep the scheduling together. They use technology to make everything seamless. I have encountered PT in an array of cities throughout the United States. Vita is the best of them all.

They kept me motivated to put in the work and get better. After the 6 week program, I'm pain free and now have a detailed plan for me to continue strengthening at home so it doesn't come back.

I have always had a 9 out of 10 experience with ATI around the Tacoma and University Place WA area…read more However, lately, my son experienced some strange behaviors from a PT saying her name was Ann We, I believe is it Ann WU, so you can imagine not even getting the right name there was issues.. The clinic director had us move to another location, instead of honoring his word of my son would not be treated from this Ann. She always had an attitude, but when someone is in a walker already, weak legs after severe malnutrition took all his muscles away, she wanted him to go up and down a lot of steps without any safety holding on to the rails. Also she is leaving this area, and told my son he was being discharged. Then for 3 weeks was all she was left and he was to face her again when her first words are we are going to do something different today?? I felt she was responsible for harming his left weak knee after the stair incident with new trials of something, so I totally supported my son to let's go. The clinic didn't follow through with our conversation to just avoid. She is leaving. So instead, we left to another location I guess so they can keep their image even tho Ann is leaving end of his week. Why do companies do that?? Why do they keep the ones that cause issues. No one else in 4 months had one issue with my son, nor he them So am hoping this next location works better for my son to getting his strength back. It's been a long enough recovery for him, he is doing great, but why do people have to cause issues and speak out of line. There is no discharge anytime soon. This was NOT a communication issue. It's just the same, get rid of the one causing no harm, so the one who does gets to stay. No matter what area or work place, why does this continue?? The star would be a 4 or 5 from my experiences and his experience up to few weeks ago. Now the whole schedule, the planning to rearrange everyone's elses schedule to fit in the new ATI therapy place has to be done. Why are we the ones going through all these changes and possibly having to hire outside the hours we already had scheduled. Oh the clinic director scheduled through December. Telling them I did that. No, I scheduled 6 weeks in advance and had no issues over the last few months. Ann had them deleted. Pecking order of boss vs worker seemed to have over rid somewhere???

Dad "allegedly" placed himself on the floor though there was no staff that witnessed the event so legally it is considered a fall and state will fine them. After "he" put himself on the floor the RN came in and gave him his pills! Yes while he was laying on the floor!! No pillow, no blanket, no fall Matt's....just the cold tile floor. Sounds inhumane? Yes it was!! A hour and a half after that the nurse sent the CNA in and dad was deceased. It's been exactly one month and the Dire tor of Nursing, Nancianna has still not completed the incident report probably trying to find a way to cover up their huge errors and the cause of death. I could go on for days about the inappropriate staff, care, lack of care, not following care plans, neglect and some abuse but yelp does not have enough room. Mind you we had family members visiting Dad everyday and the staff still managed to neglect him. If you ever need help to learn about this place or elderly care please reach out to me! I would hate for any other family to go through what our father and our family went through!

Meds that weren't brought on time; sometimes over an hour late. Administration staff who were all lip service and nothing else. Not getting bathed three days late, and then only because I screamed bloody blazes. A bed that broke at just before 2:00 PM and not getting replaced until 10:00 PM. I could go on, but it's only going to cause my blood pressure to climb. If you are considering this facility for yourself or a loved one, I would strongly recommend against it.

THIS UPDATES MY PREVIOUS REVIEW:…read more WARNING: This facility is currently being "closely monitored by CMS.gov" due to "a documented pattern of poor-quality care for one month between August 2023 and July 2024." And according to several employees I trust, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services was here for the whole second half of 2023, too. Sadly, though, this apparently toothless agency, slated to disappear under Trump and Kash Patel, didn't see fit to cut off Medicare and Medicaid funds, which would have effectively shut this miserable place down. Where do I even start? As I write this I'm in bed with COVID, courtesy of the way they mishandled an outbreak that continues to threaten patients and staff alike. In my case this means no visitors for at least another week. The roar from the antiquated plumbing keeps many of us awake all night, while the equally ancient HVAC keeps the air uncomfortably hot and dry 24/7/365, forcing us to guzzle ice water all day, which we of course pee out all night in bed. The food runs the gamut from merely unappetizing to outright disgusting. Worse, they stuff us with white bread, white potatoes, white rice, Froot Loops, Frosted Flakes, Kool-Aid and Hawaiian Punch, then recommend a laxative every morning. Some of us ask visitors to bring us high-fiber carbs and high-protein shakes whenever they come. I should add that there are many skilled and compassionate staffers here, but the stingy, appallingly greedy owners wont let most of them do their best work. So spare yourself or a loved one months or even years of misery and choose Luther Manor, St. Ann's or another nonprofit instead.
