There are several others in Toledo that I had good experiences with. But do not visit the one in Sylvania on McCord. The general manager seems lost and snobby. She obviously bit off more than she could chew. She looks down on others from her soapbox. I have never met such a fake person in my life. She was absolutely horrible to work for. She has no idea what she's doing. She's going to run that store into the ground. She should stick to stop and Go. She took the fun out of everything. There was so much laughter and fun and camaraderie in the beginning and she managed to squash any of that. It went from being a place that everybody like to work at to a place that people were forcing themselves to come to work. I watched attitudes slowly decline. There wasn't any laughter. No wonder why she lost her trophy. Why would anybody want to work hard for somebody that doesn't appreciate the hard work that her team members do. She pushed all the crap jobs on the few hard workers and let the slackers just slide. And if anything was said she would straight dog you. She has no management skills whatsoever. She just seems absolutely clueless. As a team member I know how her employees really felt about her. She really should just quit. She has managed to turn the whole store against her. Nobody even likes working there anymore. Not for her a good manager has empathy and sympathy and understanding. Is honest and leads by example. She seemed to be intimidated by me is all I can think of. Because I personally didn't do anything to her women are intimidated by other strong women but only if you're insecure and she managed to put me down to where I felt bad about myself because of whatever her personal feelings are for me.Jobs come and go. I'll get another one. This isn't the case of me being salty this is a warning for any strong-minded female that makes the general manager feel inferior. I often ran circles around her. I was constantly moving and cleaning and hustling. I have a strong work ethic. But because I have a broken home life and mental health issues she managed to use those against me and then fired me the day after my son got out of the hospital. SMH

Tonight for example. I live 2 doors down from the place. So I walk up smoking my cig and I'm trying to explain to the owner that I'm just finishing my cig and I'll be in after that. I'm smoking said cig & the owner comes out snarling at me like 2 mins later taking about don't come back til the bar is closed or I'll get my arse pummeled. I did nothing wrong. I was trying to explain to her that I was texting my aunt how to send my 80yr old grandma a video to her email cause it's too large for a text msg. She was having none of what I was saying. I don't think she was listening at all. I kno it's a mostly biker crowd. They're usually racist too. I've been called NIGGER at Diggers plenty of times. My Mexican friends have been told to go next door to Carmel's where the Mexicans are. I know I'm not exactly welcomed there so I try to stay away. Two wrongs don't make a right. So I stay in my zone. But it is hurtful. It's 2018 you'd figure more ppl are over that bullshit. I guess not. It makes their establishment look really shitty.
