Before I start I will say that my review is solely based on the morning crew. The night crew (especially Victor) are great!!! I started parking with Sylvan 80-02 Kew Garden location mid February. Around mid March I noticed that my vehicle had a dent on the passage side. I unfortunately did not do a walk though of the car the night before, as I didn't think it would be necessary since I am monthly customer and did not think I would have to check the car ever single pick up (please do not make my mistake). The next morning my husband brought it to my attention when he was getting into the passage side of my car. I brought it to the attention of the morning parking attendants the very next day. I was simply told that there was nothing they can do about it b/c drove the car out of the lot, but the attendant speaking to me was very rude, told me that I should read the fine print and then proceeded to speak to his co-worker in Spanish with me right in front of him (I'm not Latin). This same attendant had just given me the very worst attitude about a week prior, b/c I "stopped" at the wrong place and he was "not going to park my car the next time I did that." In the middle of speaking to his co-worker in Spanish, I stopped him, told him that I'm sick of him being rude to me and asked him for the corporate office number and a claim form. At which point he told me to call whoever I wanted to and told me that if I needed something I should ask someone else. I asked the supervisor on duty, who ignored how this person was speaking to me and simply gave me the corporate office number. I mean whatever happened to customer service?!? Though I was mad, I ended up not calling the corporate office number b/c at the end of the day it was my fault for not checking the car every day (I started doing this after this incident), and I really didn't think it would have made a difference one way or the other (this is a garage we are talking about). This attendant (I don't know his name) no longer addressed me or serviced me, which I was totally fine with, but again, what type of management allow their employees to behave this way. On Monday, March 26th (5 days before I would be paying for next month), for the first time since all of this happened the attendant approached me and told me "do not worry about paying your next month fees, b/c we will not be renewing your parking space." I asked him if there is a problem and he told me to call the corporate office if I had any questions. I called immediately when I got to my office, played phone tag with Jeffrey Hammer, the manager for location, and when I finally got a hold of him Jeffrey told me that they are no longer interested in doing business with me, that he received complaints from his workers and he's respecting their wishes and will not be renewing my monthly rental. When I tried to explain to Jeffrey what had happened he cut me off, and told me that he's not interested in discussing it with me, that they have already made up their minds and that I seem like a nice enough person and he wishes me good luck. When I told Jeffery that he's given me 5 days notice, and that my transit payroll deduction had already taken place for the month of April, he said he gave me enough 5 days to find a new place to park (mind you, there are no other parking garage in that area). AT the end of the day, I'm writing this review in hopes that it will help someone select better than I did. There is no customer service at this garage. They speak to you however they want and do not care, b/c the management supports this. If you have the misfortune of parking with them, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be sure to check your car every time you leave! Hope this was helpful. read more
