I was a little concerned about the shift to common core at my son's school, but the teachers at Quest know how to explain common core methods very well. Each session focuses on a different subject of the SAT (writing, reading, and math). In each session, he drills test-taking patterns in essay writing, grammar, and critical reading. These patterns break down the entire test, allowing students to be fully aware of what to expect. The test then is no longer intimidating while both speed and accuracy in test-taking improves. Not only does Mr. Kim teach valuable test-taking skills, but he also offers his students nuggets of life-lessons. In my experience, these life-lessons have made a great impact by inspiring me to make my role as a student priority. With this new focus, I saw my SAT scores improve as well as my GPA. In addition to the SAT classes, I highly recommend taking the college personal statement writing courses. Because Mr. Kim teaches SATs on a very personal level, he knows each one of his students on deep level. There's lessons, videos, practice exams , pdf's , flashcards, tips ( All in audio and pdf version), and the teacher going over lessons. I only used compu cram for he first time and scored a 74%. Anyway, I purchased this course after and studied for a little over two weeks. Went over flashcards multiple times and made sure all my practice exams scored over 95% (there's 15). This course really helps you understand the concepts and how to apply them. Anyway, please please go with this prep exam course if you want to PASS the test. Good luck :) !!!!
