Great place with lots of space for the trailer, pop-up or tent. Brought a boy scout troop for the night as we traveled to Hardy. Had no issues with check-in or check-out. Camping facilities were fine as we did primitive. Bathrooms were very poor. Limited stalls and sink. All were rundown and dirty. If that gets fixed up this would be a 5 star stay. read more

We have camped there in ghe fall. So we thought we would go there again. We went thinking it would be a good weekend. First yhe wuiet hours were not enforced. The flies wdre horrendous. The smell was horrible and overwhelming due to the open air dumpster. The flies eould sssault you as doon as you started to make food. It was a health hazard! The bathrooms are fill of spiders ect. There is 1 indoor shower for men snd 1 for women. For thr eentire camp. There were also outdoor showers, but they were worse than the indoor showers.. unfortunately it's a beautiful space, but it looks like the owners are just trying to get what they can by filling up the campgrounds and not taking care of the situation. I stayed as a similar host on Facebook in the next spooning instead of emptying or calling the people to coming to empty the dumpster. They came by with a hole in a bucket and squished down all of the ref refuse.. to make room for more, which of course did nothing for the smell. read more

We loved our Creek front camp site! It was March so not many people there. Water and Electric hookups with dump station on site. Small store, firewood for sale. Small clean bathhouse. Sylamore creek is the star of the show! Beautiful clear cool water with huge rock bluff for a backdrop. What's not to like? We will definitely visit again. read more

We love this campsite. Beautiful swimming hole with rope swings and plenty of room to share beach space. Bathrooms and campsites in general were very clean. The playground is a little run down but the kids love it and asked to go to it constantly. Our kiddos are too young to do the floating trips but even without, it's a great time! read more

Just don't even know what to say. We had the worst experience with some of the rudest service. Our camp site was covered in broken glass and the road was totally ruined with mud ruts. We had items stolen (which I know, that's on us) while we went to town and we're over charged as we only received electric and not water access. We will never again return here after 11 years of visiting and our family tradition. Times have changed apparently and it is time for this momma to look for a better quality, cleaner, kinder, and more appropriate site. The swim area was filthy with trash: broken bottles, cans, knives, diapers, clothing, food, and random fishing items. We cleaned up more trash than we made. With a family of six with four children, I have very high expectations and definitely will give my money to someone else. Any suggestions are very welcome! read more

We had a terrible experience camping here over the weekend. We were expecting a nice quiet family outing with friends but that is not what we got. I have never been to a rv park where there is a haunted hayride and haunted house on site only feet away from campers but we also had to listen to screaming, banging, chainsaws and tractors running until 10pm each night. So the kids decided to check out the hayride and haunted house with the moms and did so but were to chicken to go through the house. So i challenged the older kids to go through the house with me. So we made our way over to the house and were met with an upset clown that said we had to go to the office to get our vouchers because the kids had been through the house too many times already. So we go and get the vouchers and go on the hayride without any problems when we pull back up to the house the clown then confronts me and tells me i need to tell the kids to stop throwing rocks during the hayride. I said who and then asked the kids if they did and they said no and he continues to accuse them of throwing rocks. I then confront this clown about accusing my kids of doing something and he then starts dropping f bombs left and right and starts threating to call the cops which i said please do but i guess decided not to. So after a few back and forth words i decide to leave the situation and take the kids back to the camper and he proceeds to follow me and continue to use the f word repeatedly. I can say i will never be back to this clown of a campground and would not want my worst enemy staying here. Their sign says no cussing or you will be escorted off the premises but i guess that only applies to the guests not the employees. The sign also says beware of clowns. So do yourself a favor and don't waste your time or money on this clown of a place. read more

Attended a wedding there and it was absolutely gorgeous! Campsites are well kept, cabins are clean and cozy, the scenery is beautiful and the people are friendly! What more could anyone ask for? I will definitely be going back! read more

Great place! Blanchard Springs camp was closed so we ended up there. Guy Harris, the man in charge, was very friendly and welcoming. He's got a neat collection of snakes and reptiles in the office. Turns out he is an expert snake catcher and mountain man. He told us some wild stories in the 20 mins we talked to him, and I'm sure thats just the tip of the iceberg. He showed us all kinds of pics of him catching rattlers and other venomous snakes. If you need woods advice on the Ozarks, go to him! The camp was quiet and right off the road. There's 34 tent sites, several log cabins, and lots fo RV spots. We stayed at campsite 33 which I think is perfect because it's at the far end of the last row of spots right on the creek. Although the campsite is very close to the road, I didn't hear cars at night and it was very peaceful. Also, there's electric hookups, showers and toilets. It's very close to Blanchard Springs Caverns. FYI: it's a dry county so make sure you get your booze in Baxter county!!! I only wish the showers were hosed down more often. I ended up using the one in the men's bathroom lol. FREE WIFI! 14/night for tent camping. read more

We camped here bc blanchard springs caverns was full. They had one spot left with hookups. The guy who runs it is so friendly and helpful. However I was so displeased with the area. There was lots of trash in and around our burn ring, cigarette butts everywhere, bathrooms were dirty and had several black widows living in them. The creek had lots of trash floating. The campsite is not very well maintained, lots of plants growing over stairs and walkways, lots of poison ivy. read more

This review is for their shuttle service. We did not stay at this camp, but used their shuttle service to be dropped off at Cripple Turkey Trailhead where we started our backpacking trip. Before we drove to the trailhead the driver took the time to show us where our trail would end, and where we would be walking back to the camp to get back to our parked vehicle. He was kind enough to swing back to the camp because we had forgotten something. He drove us to our trailhead and as soon as he left we realized we had lost our car keys! Of course there was no cell phone service, so we just had to cross our fingers that they would be found in the van. When we finally made it back to the camp, we were thrilled to find out that the driver had found the keys and they had them there. The young lady in the office was so sweet and told us she had been concerned that we would be worrying about it the whole trip. They had even put a note on the car just in case we arrived before they opened. We appreciated the concern, the friendliness, and the trustworthiness! read more

We booked a camping space to pitch our tents for two nights and everything was great. Male showers were in pretty bad shape though.

We made reservations about 2 months ahead. When I called the lady was nice and courageous. We arrived on a Thursday and stayed until Sunday we had no issues checking in. We got unpacked and started settling in when the owner pulled up next to our camp site. Told us we didn't pay enough. (I paid $82 for the 3 nights). So we went up to the office. The lady was nice. We told her we were sent back up there by the owner. She said we had too many people in our camp site. We had 2 adults and our 4 kids aged 13 to 4 and my parents (which we always camp with and have previously camped at this very place) so 4 kids and 4 adults I had to pay $43.80. So that's a total of 125.80 for 3 nights. Then after about 3 hours of listening to a Bluetooth speakers (which was playing when the owner came up the first time) the owner drive up again and told us we need to read the rules and very rudely told us to turn it off) the rules said you can play music as long as it's low) it was low. We could barely hear it. The man was very rude And hateful! On top of that We had wasp in the electrical box, I kept getting a fowl smell around the camp grounds. And the bathrooms are horrible. They look like they haven't ever been updated. The toilet stalls don't have locks and really don't stay closed. I got walked in on each time went. The shower doesn't have a lock on it either and was full slugs. I only got one hot shower the rest of the time it was cold. I'm going back to Mountain View. But I'm definitely not staying there!! read more

This place is so so nice! We stayed there a few days last year & this year we're staying again but for a week :) It's right by the creek & the cabins are nice. Beautiful location. Mink Cabin was right on Sylamore Creek. Unfortunately the cabin was disappointing. Dirty floors, no screens on windows or doors, sprayer for kitchen sink was broke, coffee maker damaged but usable, dead bugs in window seal, burned out light bulbs and for $186 a night you'd think they could change the towels and remove the trash. Went to Petit Jean state park next our cabin was immaculate for $118/night and you received daily service. I'll come back to the Mountain View/Blanchard Springs area again but not to SCC. Sorry you lost my business. read more
