The Nest is a renovated loft in downtown Mountain View. Incredibly well done, with a industrial luxury vibe. There are two beds, one king (private) and a queen. The sofa also pulls out to a queen bed. The kitchen is complete and had everything you need. Japanese soaking tub is a nice upgrade too. In an area known for kitschy cabins, this vacation rental is upscale. We loved the added surprise of a turntable with many records to choose for our playing and listening pleasure. If you haven't had the joy of a record playing vinyl, do it. It is a wonderful and relaxing touch. As the name implies, be prepared for the stairs going up to the loft on the side of the building. They are very sturdy, but if you have a lot of luggage it may take a trip or two. There is only one parking spot specifically reserved for guests of the loft. Carpool if there more than two staying here. Once you get settled, walk the block to see the craft school, get dinner or listen to music on the courthouse square. read more
