There are SO many services offered here, to begin listing them almost seems like a futile pursuit! I went for job coaching and help with my resume. I have done this twice now, and both times, it has set me up in such a good position that I have gotten a job very shortly after my visit there! The atmosphere of the place is very relaxing, there is a cool little waterfall in the open area, and all of the classrooms and the prayer chapel are all very comfortable. That's a good thing if you find yourself in a position to need help. I would recommend anyone who needs just a little help to stop by here. You will be greeted warmly and will get to sit down with an assessor who will help you figure out what services you need. I'm thankful that I was able to get the help I needed and now that I am able to help others!

From time to time they offer a free health clinic with student nurses to check you out and get you better and they offer so many resources to the community. You could say this place is a one stop shop for all sorts of assistance and that's why I say this place is Awesome!!!...

It is the best place to volunteer sporadically and they have a lot of open availability. This year I wanted to do something for my birthday, giving back to the community and I was able to organize an event for my friends to get together and do. It was amazing. We hung candy on Christmas trees for A-Kid-Again. And they were nice enough to throw in a tour of the grounds as well, which made it even more special.

Their coaches did an amazing job and made the GOTR program so much fun! The girls learned a lot about self reflection of who they are, who they become and how they can influence others! Our girls went from being non-runners to actually enjoying running! Since starting the GOTR program we have already seen their running speed, endurance and agility increase on the soccer field during games! This was our first 5K race and it definitely won't be our last! The girls had so much fun at the end of the season celebration with their team and coaches! Thanks to GOTR Cincinnati, the schools, the coaches, the volunteers and the sponsors for making this program and 5K so much fun to participate in!

The 24-lesson Girls on the Run curriculum combines training for a 5K (3.1 miles) running event with lessons that inspire girls to become independent thinkers, enhance their problem solving skills and make healthy decisions. All of this is accomplished through an active collaboration with girls and their parents, schools, volunteers, staff, and the community. It's a great, international organization, with wonderful staff members and volunteers. Two 5k events are hosted, one in May and one in November.

I rescue strays and a $100 vet visit at a supposed discounted pricing isn't discounted services…read more Charging a "sick" visit for a first time appointment for vaccinations is ridiculous. Used to be that they disclosed pricing and cared about helping pets and care for people needing financial assistance. No one told me this would be the case to see the vet and not just have someone take the cat back. Stray cat is scheduled with OAR tomorrow morning and it would've been cheaper doing everything there INCLUDING the SPAY. Disappointed in the staff & service. Definitely won't be using them or having birthday fundraiser money go to them as I have the last three years. Save your money and go to OAR or UCan for discounted services if you have a cat. I should disclose the vet came in to give one injection for worms which I told them I previously treated her in November and again in January. Didn't answer question about her eyes, or if other cats will need shots for worms too. They didn't see any worms or do a fecal sample. I now have to cancel the spay appointment tomorrow and they did not even care - which makes me not legible to come back and get her checked out bc they have to spayed/neutered in a certain amount of time and most organizations are booked out.

Unfortunately, all of that was ruined by the most uncomfortable ice skates I've ever worn. I cried uncle after one round around the small rink, and even my 8 year old was complaining about foot pain. So, despite dropping $28 for four people, we were done within 15 minutes. To continue would've been to commit the sunk cost fallacy. Summit Park, I beg you to get some more padded skates. I realize rentals never fit like a glove, but these skates are literal torture devices.

A parent off the ice grabbed my kid's skate aid when he let go to talk to me. (Someone else gave him one). Just note these things are first come first serve and people can be brutal.

There are three levels of living at the Seasons: Retirement Living and the Courtyard's Assisted Living and Nursing Care. The Seasons is well decorated, they have nice dining rooms, the location is convenient for visitors, and it's a relatively cheerful place. I had a relative who lived at the Seasons for many years and she had a good experience, and we felt comfortable with her living there. The Retirement Living is an independent style of living like an apartment with many things offered. This includes a continental breakfast and other meals served downstairs in their restaurant, there is 24-hour on-site security, weekly towel and linen services, bi-weekly housekeeping, wellness nurses on staff, transportation options, and a list/calendar of weekly social and recreational activities. Although she enjoyed many of the activities, my great grandmother wished there was more to do in the evenings. There is also a lounge with a pool table and television, a shuffleboard court outside, a salon, a library, a chapel, a heated outdoor pool, a greenhouse, and walking trails among other things. The Assisted Living offers nurses and resident assistance 24 hours a day, assistance with activities, management and/or assistance with medication, three nutritious meals per day, wellness monitoring, and housekeeping and laundry service. The Nursing Care, meanwhile, has a licensed nursing staff on hand at all times, there is a "full range" of therapeutic service, restorative and rehabilitative nursing, social service to assist with personal needs, three meals a day and snacks, medication management, and individualized activity programs. My great grandmother used to say how "old age isn't a pretty thing," but at the Seasons they do their best to accommodate everyone's living and wellness needs. With all they offer on their campus and the emergency response system, the Seasons is a very nice place to send your elderly loved ones.

By not including any less than complimentary comments a clear picture is not being presented. My mother (and my father until his passing) lived in the Seasons community for 11 years - 9 years at Seasons and 2 years at Courtyard. The years in independent living was tolerable - Courtyard, not so much. The lack of staffing, particularly at night, was very concerning. When you have one nurse on duty and a scattering of aides handling 3 floors of elderly residents, this is makes for a less than ideal assisted living arrangement. Care conferences were never held, repairs requested for her apartment (broken tile in bathroom - possible trip hazard), thorough apartment cleaning as stipulated in lease agreement each took over a year to achieve. Other than an ideal location there is nothing ideal about Courtyard. My mother at age 96 passed away recently and no one in the management of Senior Lifestyle had the humanity to even utter condolences to our family. Concerns regarding the facility were also voiced to the President of Senior Lifestyle in their Chicago headquarters and has also been completely ignored. Would NOT recommend this facility to any family looking for an assisted living facility.
