Merry was so kind and helpful when it came to explaining the different peppers they have, their local produce even their really cool Greek basil. The best part is EVERYTHING is organically grown and pesticide free. What else could you possibly want! Oh yeah, if you want to become a member you TOTALY can. As a CSA member, you have the chance to not only support the local farmers but you will receive a farm fresh basket of seasonal vegetables EVERY week for 10 weeks. This is definitely a great deal if you don't live too far like myself! Every spring they have a plant sale and at the moment they still had some plants available for the late planters such as tomatoes, basil, peppers and some others of that kind. You can take a plant home right there and grow in a pot or put straight in the ground. Seeds are also available! Love their concept and what they do. The best part is being able to support local especially during these times. They're taking all types of safety precautions and have gloves available for you to pick your own produce and bag it yourself. Pricing is VERY reasonable. You can even take home your favorite piece of pottery, done all locally.

They are too old to attend now but still love coming to the farm to help me pick vegetables! I feel so lucky that my kids love vegetables. We had a wonderfully impromptu weekend sojourn to Fable Farm this past Saturday to pick up some local cider and donuts. Little did we know that Fable is also home to a slew of chickens and goats who are packed with personality and pluck, and totally made our day with their sweet and adorable antics! We had a great time watching the animals hang out and peck around their spacious pen enclosure, safe from the masked onlookers who came to gawk at the majesty of farmland critters. Honestly, any interactions with cute barnyard characters is a high point to my day, so Fable gets five stars on that alone! We also loved the local farmer's market that sets up here, and even though it was close to closing for the day, we were able to browse around for a bit. I didn't buy anything, but the produce looked fresh and there were lots of other locally made goods like honey and soaps. We'll be back for sure next time when we have more time to look around at all the offerings! The local cider and scrumptious donuts were our initial mission, and they did not disappoint. The cider was juicy and tangy, and I couldn't stop drinking it for the rest of the evening once we got home. I was able to limit myself to one cider donut (brushed with cinnamon sugar - yum!), but that was so difficult! My boyfriend's mom was delighted with the cider donuts we brought home for her, too.
