If you know a little about the ARC, come by and volunteer. Most of this office's opportunities are volunteer only(although most are field-work spots), you pretty much help out at other places, but this is a large regional office for the newly-combined Dutchess and Ulster Co. branches. (There are some paid spots within the office, but for the most part, most of the office is volunteer work. These spots tend to be the "director-level/executive level spots for paid spots, but it all depends on the situation.) This location does take donations, however clothes are not acceptable donations at this location(an ARC location in Maryland does this). If you're not sure, call this location and find out. Money(checks and cash), and MoneyGram donations are accepted, as well as supplies such as water and the like, are also accepted here. Drop it by. You'll get a tax-donation receipt for any monetary donation you can give. The American Red Cross needs your help in any way you can. You might even benefit yourself, if you have lost something due to natural disasters(or need help looking for someone, even someone who is in the military). Also at this location, they have a transport ERV(Emergency Response Vehicle) that provides the supplies to needy emergencies, based on other factors which I'm not going to get into here. Another thing they have at this location is a blood donation center, which is open every day that the main location is open. Come to the front door(nearest the parked ERV-and up the few stairs), sign in to the guestbook(and later sign-out) and give some blood.

The venue is well run, clean, and has meeting spaces for public events. On this occasion, the center was also providing a complimentary sandwich lunch for all attendees. How lovely. On this occasion, Town Supervisor, Rebecca Edwards and her team with the support of the Senior Center team hosted another informative community resident discussion. I'm impressed by this Town administration's ideas to improve the lives of the residents. My town taxes are a good value under this leadership.

Its family ran at a high level and they provide the best tasting meats and eggs you could ever imagine. They have a far range of offerings, everything from Short Ribs, T-Bone, Ribeyes, Porterhouse, Beef/Pork Bacon, and more. After buying her meats, I can't go back to supermarkets. I'm an avid Cyclist, former D1 Athlete and Blackbelt. I put a high level of importance in what I consume and these meats check all the boxes. The beef farm is family owned and operated, conveniently located off the Taconic State Parkway near Knoxon Road in the town of Lagrangeville. This time around, I am preparing home-cooked meals for our labrador. Although each ingredient is human grade and recently butchered, my family is not keen on organ meats, but my Doggie sure is. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering that these cows are cared for in a human way, grazing across hundreds of acres of historic Hudson Valley land. No chemicals are added this is organic. At a time when food seems to be tainted with heaven knows what, it's comforting to know that when we do eat meat, it is clean and free of chemicals and that the cows were treated humanely for as long as their life would permit I'm a hypocrite I guess because I like meat, but I want to make sure that it is sourced responsibly. Keith manages the day-to-day outdoor operations ( photographed here), while his brother drew manages the payment and finances. It all works very nicely. You will pay a premium per pound, but the trade-off is comfort in the care that they bring to the work. This place has the most delicious chicken pot pie I've ever had. I wish I ordered two pie instead of one. The soup of the day was carrot soup and it was bowl licking good. The food is so fresh and well made. Even though the place was packed on a Friday night, the food still out pretty quickly. Plenty of indoor or outdoor seating.
