Ten Chicken Wings with original sauce.
Paul H.

A newer and bigger version of their Gravois road location we've gone to for years. Went on a Friday night and they were busy with 20 minute wait for a party of four. Understandable. Food was as good as we recall. Got the chix wings with original sauce, 12 in Brett's combo pizza, and house salad we shared. Wife got the pulled pork sandwich, which was new for us and it was good. Service was also very good. Younger gentleman for our server. Appeared newer and did a very nice job. Never had to wait very long for another beverage. Ambiance was as expected. They are a busy bar restaurant so high energy. Despite it all, we were able to have a conversation without having to yell back and forth. We'll be back.

Teriyaki wings and side of fries

Went for a late lunch on a Friday, and dining area was pretty full. Many tables had to go boxes on them but the customers were still talking. I had never been to this location before; years ago we had eaten at the Dorsett location. Our order was taken promptly and food didn't take too long to come out. I had skimmed their online menu and planned to order shark & salad lunch special, or shark tacos in the 'featured' section, but those were not on the menus we were given. Wings & Mahi tacos were messy but delicious.

Always an easy time getting in and food is always quick to serve. Great place to go with friends to share a meal and watch some sports. It's your classic sports bar, so there's plenty of TVs and fans on game days. If you are in the sports scene, it's an easy no frills kind of place with good food!

Signature Old Fashioned

After doing our duty down the street at the local funeral home, we needed a cocktail. Plus, we're retired and like day drinking. It was mid-afternoon so it was easy getting two stools at the bar. I enjoyed their Signature Old Fashioned and it was so good, I had two. I forget what my friend had, but she doubled up too. After going to a viewing, we had no desire to be following our low-carb diet and went for the carbs. Their house made onion rings were the bomb, I'll be visiting a Syberg near my home just to enjoy them again. Our other carb delight was the Potato Skins and they too, were a flavorful treat. The bartender on duty was skilled at her craft and was not only professional, but friendly, too. I rarely get to Arnold, but the next time I do, I'll be sure to stop by for a cocktail.

Broken bowl

I was so excited to eat here.......I was underwhelmed. Service was ok. Had a broken bowl and they replaced the whole dish without question. However, the bowl had an obvious crack and should've been thrown out before it was even served. The ambiance feels like a chain restaurant. Nothing to really talk about. Kind of feels like a crossover between Buffalo Wild Wings and Applebees. There are tv's to watch sports, and the kids get crayons and can color. The food. I had a really hard time finding something. I sat down thinking I would have a huge selection (because the menu was so thick) but it was pretty disappointing and very average. The menu felt like a hole in the wall bar menu. Boy did the pizza look good! But man oh man was it about as mediocre as a pizza could possibly be. I've had better box pizza than the one I ate there. It wasn't inedible, but it was certainly nothing to write home about. The Mac and cheese were absolutely delicious, but the toasted raviolis were overcooked. I had the fish and chips which were pretty average, no complaints there. My wife ordered a Ruben which was very very good. Everything about the Ruben was perfect. Super crisp sauerkraut. It was by far the best meal that was ordered. The biggest downside, all the best sounding meals were unable to be ordered until later in the day. You couldn't order "dinner" meals until 4-5 o'clock. Overall, for me personally, I probably won't go back. For others, this may be exactly what you're looking for. I had high expectations and was met with mediocrity. Did I expect too much? Maybe. Or did they not deliver enough? Also, maybe. I'm on the fence about a recommendation, so I would say, maybe give it a shot if you have nothing to lose.

Kids Menu

Our experience was pretty good. Mo was our server, he was polite and efficient. We had a party of 8 and a baby, so had a wait for about 10 minutes, but that's to be expected, especially on a Friday. Everyone enjoyed their food. I loved the kid's menus, the kept all of kids of different ages engaged until their food came! The kids meals were all good, the toasted ravioli and the chicken wings were a nice change from the typical kid's meals. The kid's burgers and chicken strips were also enjoyed. I had the chicken wrap with buffalo chips and it was tasty. Overall, a good experience.

This place is horrible. The food is heavy and tasteless. Zero creativity. I wont eat there again. I could not believe they were busy.

Very loud and bar-like. Not a great place to take kids. Food is average bar fair and pretty expensive.

Good food and good service. Been there just a couple times since they opened up in Arnold. Gets a little noisy but enjoy the food.

Waited for over 15 mins to tab out while bartender talked to a couple of guys at the bar about life…read morestories....even turned my glass upside down to give a hint, she looked over and continued to tell stories while I continued to wait Ended up being 30 minutes to close my tab

I came up to St. Louis from Mississippi to visit a friend, and we decided to go to Hotshots in…read moreArnold to shoot some pool and grab a drink. Everything was normal at first. We walked in, tried to order drinks, and handed over our Mississippi driver's licenses. That's when things got weird. The staff immediately decided our licenses were "fake" and took them from us. We tried explaining that they were real Mississippi IDs, but they wouldn't give them back and told us we could call the police if we wanted them returned. So, we did. We waited around for a while until Arnold Police finally showed up and ran the licenses, only to confirm exactly what we had been saying the entire time... they were real. After that, we got our IDs back. The funniest part of the whole situation was watching the short blonde-haired bartender confidently trying to educate the rest of the staff about how our IDs were fake... just for them to turn out to be completely legitimate. Honestly, the whole thing could have been avoided if everyone in the BAR had the right training to check ID's. Instead, it turned into an unnecessary situation where we had to involve the police just to get our own licenses back. If you're from out of state, just be prepared, they might not believe your ID is real and you won't get it back til you call the cops come verify. I can understand being "cautious" but if you're working in a bar you should be able to tell the difference between real and fake ID's especially the manager on duty.
