Food is good service sucks. If you have large party with small kids stay away. They want older couples who tip well.

The atmosphere was great and the food was good. The Veggie burgers that we ordered were ??? Not sure if they were veggie or real burgers. Our server was wandering around the dining room like he was lost. When we needed him we had to stop another server and ask them to let our server know we needed something. Our onion rings side order was not very good either. They fell apart when you picked them up. More of the food was on the floor than in our stomachs. This place isn't very good...at all. The times that I have been there I was disappointed. The latest I just got a salad and I could've made one better than that. Plus it was HUGE! The waiter wasn't bad, he was actually very attentive but for the food that was ordered, it took an extremely long time to get. Came here for dinner on a Friday night. We are relatively new to the area and heard a lot of good things about this place. I had the wings and my wife had a burger. Best way to describe it is "Meh". Met my girlfriend here for lunch. Greeted with a smile and were seated immediately. Nice clean place with a casual atmosphere. Chicken dip was okay. Stale chips and really hard to actually use as a dip. Wouldn't order again. My girlfriend got a chicken wrap. Pretty generic as she suspected. Now to the wings. Sybergs is known for their amazing sauce. I'm on board. Their sauce is awesome and I buy it from Schnuck's on the reg. Only one complaint. I know the value of a chicken wing. $6.99 for six wings. Doesn't take a genius to realize that's a staggering $1+ each. So if you're charging north of $1 for one wing, a cup of bleu cheese dressing shouldn't be fifty cents. Seriously, Brett? This evening I dined alone at a bar table. I had excellent service. My server was very attentive and polite. I ordered the chicken breast with provel cheese and mushrooms with a side salad and the steamed broccoli. Usually chicken breasts can be easily over cooked but this one was moist and juicy. The broccoli was broccoli- a means to an end of ensuring I got my veggies in for the days. The side salad was quite large for which I cannot complain. I also like that they serve salads in a bowl instead of on a plate. That makes it much easier to mix it with the dressing. The manager stopped by my table and asked how things were and I appreciated that extra interaction. To be honest, I love Sybergs wings but I moved away years ago and I miss them. read more

So after my first trip here I left a review and was contacted by management. They wanted me to revisit and offered to send me a gift card. I of course obliged because I love the wings and would love to give it another go. So my wife, a friend and myself went today for lunch. We walked in and the hostess, leaning against the hostess counter, said we could sit wherever we wanted. So, we headed to the bar area because it was less busy. We were greeted, well kind of, by our server. She came over and said hey, what are we drinking. We all ordered water. She said she would be right back and then left. We did not receive menus, so when she returned with our drinks and asked if we were ready to order, we said no. We asked for menus and she quickly retrieved them for us. I ordered the Syberger with fries, since last time I had a salad. I ordered my burger medium. We waited maybe 15 minutes for all of our meals which was not bad at all considering they were pretty busy. The burger was cooked perfectly and had just the right amount of onions and sauce. The fries were piping hot and fresh. The food, again, was delicious. Our waitress was not very personable. She was short when speaking to us and was cold. At the end of our meal, after we paid, she came back and said "you didn't want change, did you? Now we had planned on tipping her the change anyway, which was $5.12 on a $20 check, but the fact that she EXPECTED it, was rude. We still tipped her the change because, what do you say to that? But, what really bothered me this time was the hostess. She was younger and blonde but I did not catch her name. The entire time we were in the restaurant she was leaning over her hostess table thing. Numerous people came in and were told to seat themselves. They then had to walk back up to her to get menus because she did not hand them out. The front door was extremely dirty with fingerprints and smear marks. It would've been nice to see her take 5 minutes and clean it off so I didn't have to stare at the door with the sun shining through it, making the fingerprints profound. She didn't move. And I don't know why, but it bothered me. I think the food here is excellent but unfortunately in this type of restaurant, the atmosphere needs to be excellent as well. Especially in this location because there are 20 bar and grills in this 10 mile radius. Overall, the food the was great, the service was bland, unfriendly, yet fast, and the environment of staff was off putting. First off. Excellent service. Waitress was beyond awesome. Now to the food. Appetizer was cheese sticks...poor they kind u can buy at the super market for 1/4 the price. Kids ate the Phillies, which were dried out beef. Not cooked dry but heat lamp dried. Joe mama pizza was very good. Have had much better overall food. But isn't terrible. I've had good food at some of the Syberg's over the years, but this location seems to be consistently disappointing. The ambience is good - easily the nicest of their restaurants - and service was also very good (we sat in the bar area, which is kid-friendly with lots of TV's). For lunch on Sunday, we had a pizza and salad lunch special, potato skins and a grilled buffalo chicken salad. The potato skins were the best of the bunch for sure, although we did enjoy the salad that came with the pizza. The pepperoni pizza was decidedly "meh" - it needed some herbs or seasoning, very bland. The salad was huge and probably enough for two to make a meal, but the syberg's sauce doesn't translate very well to a salad, at least not for us. it was pretty sweet. Maybe if we'd ordered French or Thousand Island, we wouldn't have minded, but with ranch dressing, it just didn't taste that great for us. We really only came here because we let our daughter choose, and I'm pretty sure there are some good things on the menu, we've just had a hard time finding them. read more

I have been to the newly opened Arnold Sybergs several times, but on May 11th 2017 I took a party of five to the Arnold location and spent over $100 (Ticket 0281, Server Nicole, 19:55). As I recall 4/5 entrees were wrong including a pizza. They worked to correct the errors while making a new pizza. Of course, by the time the (to be shared) pizza arrived everyone had finished eating their main entrée. One individual was left eating while everyone else watched. I am pretty laid back and mistakes happen, and generally this was not a big deal. However, the restaurant manager never stopped by the table to introduce him/her-self, apologize, or offer anything in compensation. Apparently the Manager was not informed of the problems or was quivering in the back room. Assuming management was not informed, when I arrived home I used Sybergs feedback page to document the evening. It's been three weeks now and management has not even provided the courtesy of a reply. I went to the Syberg Facebook page to document their problems, but found no mechanism to collect honest customer feedback. Obviously this is not just a one-time bad experience. This is a series of mistakes which can ALL be blamed on poor restaurant management. With so many restaurants vying for everyone's hard-earned money, at this point I can think of NO reason to ever go to the Arnold's Sybergs restaurant. read more

Typically when there is a 15 minute wait at lunch, in Arnold on a Wednesday you are expecting the food to be great and was not let down. Had the grilled shark bites with butter dipping sauce which comes with fruit and was the perfect light lunch. Wife had the grilled chicken with pesto sauce and onion rings (special for that day), which was very tasty if you like Basel which we both do. Could of made a meal on the onion rings. We love going to Syberg's we used their get in line app as usual. We got there in plenty of time, 20 minute wait, to check in as we are supposed to. When we got to the counter to check in the person could not find our in line check in. We showed her our text saying we were in line but she said nope not in the system. We gave her our name and also phone number from where we got the text and still nope not in system. We should of had a 20 minute wait but since we are not in the system she would add us but it would be a 45 minute wait. We said nope! We drove to Joey B's to eat and half way there guess what! We got a text our table is ready, but we are not in the system! Very poor customer service by this young lady. We frequent here very often, but maybe not anymore! read more

Had the Fitzgerald burger for lunch today. Nothing to write home about. It was a hamburger patty on toast. Honestly not worth $9.99. I did enjoy the crinkle cut fries though. Our server was not the friendliest. Not once did she ask how our food was. Asked to see the menu for dessert and she would not get it just told me what they had. I asked to see the menu. Fantastic experience!! We went for lunch. The service was great. We tried the shark bites, wings, and more. The food was fresh and tasty. It did take a little longer for the food to get out, but they have yahtzee at the table. It is a little pricier than most casual dining places, but the food is much better than those national chains. This place is always busy, so we don't go often. The couple times we did we thoroughly enjoyed it. Shark bites are greasy & the quantity is very small, but I can't complain, they are still sooo good & it's not like you can get them easily. If I could give a zero I would. As I sit here now I have waited for over 30 minutes to ask the waitress for ketchup. The bottle is completely empty and the waitress has walked by here and even dropped off a Diet Pepsi and I tried to ask her and she just walked off. A table of three officers were seated very close to use and have gotten their food, ate, paid and left and they arrived here 20 minutes after me. I think this is possibly one of the worst experiences I have had at a restaurant ever and we are on vacation to top it off. I asked for ketchup when she brings me my box and ticket and then wants to act shitty and tell me she has been very busy but she will go get it for me like I am an inconvenience because I said I tried to tell you when you dropped my Diet Pepsi off. My wife and I have always been huge fans of all the Syberg's restaurants. However, we were a little disappointed today at the Syberg's in Arnold. My wife ordered jalapeño with her salad but they were not included in the salad. I ordered my fries extra crispy but they were very undercooked, and my cod came without slaw. Also, they need to rethink using cornmeal based breading for cod. It tasted like catfish. I liken this to making steak taste like hamburger. read more

Beware .... This place sure has changed the last several months to the point we don't even want to come back. It seems like since you got new management this place has went downhill. We (8-10) friends go every Wednesday to eat dinner and cocktails and tonight was the worst service. 50 mins to get food again so we had to get it to go because our 5 & 6 yr was getting tired... This never happened in the summer or before. Your restaurant has some of the best food In the area but if the service is terrible good food means nothing. You have a particular waitress I won't even let her serve us, I won't put her name on this post but she ran 4 of us out of the bar area because we were not eating and we were sitting at bar height table. Literally told us we couldn't just have cocktails there. We got her a 2nd time in dining room and was just plain outright rude. This particular waitress sits at the hostess stand and talks bad about us when we are there... I only know this because another employee told us. I know this review probably means nothing but I promise The Syberg Family or the CFO needs to look at this management team at this location. read more
