Great burger , great service and actually better than i expected! I like this place better than shake shack plus the aesthetic inside is so cute! I have to try the chicken sandwich if the burger was that good! 9.3/10
This was my first time ever eating at Swizzler Crispy Chicken and Smash Burger, and honestly... I wasn't even supposed to get this order. I had ordered Wise Guys on Uber Eats, and this showed up instead and I am SO glad it did. Whoever originally ordered this got a bacon jalapeño burger and a spicy chicken deluxe. The jalapeño burger was a 10/10. I'm not even big on peppers, but it had the perfect amount of jalapeños, great flavor, and was just really well done. I passed that one to my friend, and I took the chicken sandwich. The spicy chicken deluxe was incredible. Perfectly crispy, great sauce, and I'm pretty sure it had bacon on it, which just took it over the top. Everything worked together so well, and I was honestly upset that I hadn't known about this place sooner. The fries were also really good, crispy and plentiful. They remind me of Five Guys fries, but honestly? This felt like a better version of Five Guys overall. I don't even know what the price was, but I can confidently say I would pay good money for both the smash burger and especially that chicken sandwich again. The best part? This place isn't even far from my house, so this is officially my new burger spot. Sorry to whoever lost their order,but thank you for putting me on. I'll definitely be back.
Very solid burger meal option for 20 dollars. You can tell every thing is fresh and made in house. Def want to come back and try their spicy chicken nuggets as well. I came during the lunch rush and they got food out quickly and with good quality and care. My one comment and where they lose a star is the man behind the counter was just the worst. Obviously hates working here and was rude in every interaction he had that I saw. All other employees were nice so maybe they should consider retraining him for the grill instead of front of house.
Decent burger good price. I got the jalapeño bacon burger. The food was fresh the person taking the orders was friendly. Place was clean and didn't have to wait long. I would recommend this place if you want a fast decent burger and your by nationals park.
TL;DR Swizzler is another Chicken & Burger spot with all the feels of a Shack Shack but better. If you're in the area it is the number option for a quick cheap bite instead of in Nationals Park. My wife and I planned and decided to go here before we hit the Breezy Bowl, and I'm glad we did. We knew going in it was going to be just like other quick service burger joints but we were surprised how good it was compared to Shake Shack. You can't go wrong with a burger of Chicken Sandwich but I'd prioritize the Chicken Sandwich over the burger for sure. It was seasoned really well and the nice crunch and was tender and juicy. The service was decent and did a great job handling the slight rush of folks getting food before the show. It didn't feel like we waiting long at all for our food but it was hot and fresh. The inside was very regular not special at all, and kept decently clean. The bathrooms could've been better everything was out TP and paper towels but I'll give them a little bit grace given there was an event.
Great good burgers are good and the chicken was also good but the frys had way to much salt. Restaurant could be a bit cleaner though just saying. Price was a bit up there for burgers. But they do taste good.
No seed oils, woohoo!! Burger was very good and give it an 7.5/10, very solid burger. Best in DC? I'm not sure about that one. Everything is made to order and ready in about 5 minutes. Their signature sauce is great! Crispy chicken sandwich was fresh and also good but their burger was a bit better, 7/10! Fries were really good, cooked in avocado oil, 9/10 in my books! Craving for some juicy burger so I decided to order a delivery from Swizzler. Ordered the Standard American which comes with two patties, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and a side of fries. I think this burger would be better eating as soon as you order it. The delivery person was great but the food was warm not hot.
Ordered the swizzler signature cheeseburger with fries and loved it! Great portions for both the burgers and fries and left plenty full. Made to order, so might be a little wait but it is def worth the wait. Would love to try the chicken next time to see what's that giving.
If you're craving a burger this place got you covered. Checked Swizzlers out with the boys and we all agreed the burgers were legit. Had just the right amount of flavor with each bite, wasn't too greasy, their swizzler sauce pairs perfectly.. definitely satisfied the craving for sure and justified the price in my opinion. Personally the fries aren't the most memorable , they go well with the burger but by the time you're finished you may just forget about them. Its a small space that can get filled up quickly but we got lucky and managed to find a seat so be mindful if going in big groups. Overall its definitely a solid spot in Navy Yard to have in rotation.
This is a pretty solid burger spot! For the price, the portion is really good. The fries are my fave kind, and I love that sauce that comes with. I got the signature burger and that was also good! The only reason it's not 5 stars and there are better smash burgers out there, but it's still good! The staff is nice and service is fast, overall a great little spot.
I'm not sure how this place made the top 5 burgers in D.C. list because it's really *just* okay. The patties themself lack flavor and seasoning. The bun is to die for-- so buttery, soft, and a bit of sweetness. It was definitely the best part. The fries are delicious and came out piping hot. I also really loved the lemonade. But the star of the show, the burger, was bland and not memorable. Definitely not the best burger in Washington, D.C., at all.
Solid spot for a casual burger and fries. I like how they use 100% grass fed beef and avocado oil for their fries. However, fries could be a bit crisper. Apparently there was a recent change in the menu but everything is pretty much still there. They also have a kids menu! It was my first time there and I saw the teamwork behind the counter. Service was perfect attentive and quick. The place was clean and bright. The swizzler signature cheeseburger with added bacon was top tier. One of the best burgers i ever had. The fries was perfect i asked for light salt and they executed just that. The Arnold Palmer was a great amount of sweetness. Definitely gonna return because of that burger alone. Place is by Nationals Park and Navy Yard Metro, small place but inside has enough seatings booths and bench high top chairs along the wall. As for food, to me, was an elevated big mac burgers - that's what I thought of the burger, $8.95 a sandwich alone! The chicken sandwich was tender and tasty but not outstanding for $8.95 just the sandwich! Fries is additional $4.99. Service was adequate but guy staff who took my order could do better, getting ice on my drink took a long time when I was already in line but he wanted to get the orders of the people behind me first as he cast me aside after i paid my turn. Hanging out at Art all night and the burger aroma was strong!! I'm not sure if it was coming from Swizzler, lol but we gave it a try. First time going and we were not disappointed. Good quality burgers, not too big or too small. Fresh fries and a signature sauce. The establishment was clean, up to date and Great Wall art that caught my eye. The staff was attentive with keeping booths clean, which we did choose to eat in. We went in after 7pm on a Saturday and the server was so sweet!! That says a lot. I was not a fan of the teenagers that chose to hang out, charge their phones and take up space just because but they were tolerable.. just something to be mindful of. Service was quick and food came out within 5-10 minutes. Several tables to eat inside. The food was fresh and hot. Fries were you classic American fries similar to Five Guys. The chicken sandwich was crispy, juicy and felt really light after eating it. Plenty of pickles with a nice spicy Jalapeño flavored sauced. Solid chicken sandwich. The burger was great too. Meat was juicy and melted in your mouth like butter. The American cheese you could taste on the burger but was not over whelming. The only downside is the price. For these three items it was $27, but understandable b/c nats park is around the corner. I would recommend this spot if you're in the area. read more

I went in earlier this week 7/24 because my son wanted a burger. I ordered the kids burger with apples as a side. It also came with an apple juice. It was pretty hot in there so I ordered the meal to go. The food didn't take too long at all. My kid refused to eat the burger after one bite. When I looked at the apples they were expired from the week before 7/15. I didn't taste the burger but I took his word that it didn't taste right. I tried calling but wasn't able to get anyone. It's a shame because I was really looking forward to trying it. There were so many great of all the great reviews. I'd hate to think the same amount of quality and care isn't going into kids' meals. read more

Decent meal. You can get burgers and fries for $13. The $6 is a little overpriced - pretty sugary and syrupy. Tasted a lot like a McDonalds shake. I got the crispy chicken deluxe with fries and a chocolate shake. The chicken sandwich was great. Great big piece of chicken. Tried great. Good pickles. Good bun. Filling. The fries were warm with tasty potato skin. Good spicy sauce that was flavorful but not terribly spicy. Nice light and branding insight. Nice booths. They gave great big water cups. My first night in DC this place was close by so I tried the bacon jalapeño burger, and it was delicious!!! I ended up going back the next night to try the spicy chicken sandwich and each of their sauces and all the sauces were good and the chicken sandwich was amazing!!! The lady that worked there the first time I went was really nice! And the gentleman that was at the counter when I ordered the second time I went was also very pleasant. Located in navy yard area with a few booths seating inside. Great for a quick lunch to keep you going or to hit the spot if you're craving burgers/sandwiches. Ordered the crispy chicken sandwich deluxe no pickles.They had a good crispiness to chicken ratio, recommend ordering the spicy sudz sauce on the side (extra charge). The sandwich is pretty filling on its own which is nice. The signature sauce on it tasted like a honey mustard. Also reasonable price for this area and higher quality than your average fast food joint chicken sandwiches. Fries looked ok chose not to order it this time, but would love to see some different fries options on the menu. Also only one type of cheese available, but could be cool to have some different options. Staff was nice and helpful in answering questions. Would go back to get a nice sandwich again, but maybe would get the spicy sudz sauce instead of signature on the sandwich. Looking forward to seeing future additions to this menu! read more

I always love this place! My first time here, I had my whole family. There are a few booths for dine in and a nice little comfy waiting area after you order your food. The blond lady at the register, Erin, is always super sweet. Last time I was here, there was a new guy. He was so happy to have this new job and his customer service was nice as well. The food is soooo yummy. I always get the same thing though lol. I always get the regular burger which compared to other burger places...it's not regular at all. They just have some special sauce that makes it sooo goooddd. I stopped by on a Sunday and this place was pretty empty. Shalya greeted us and provided her recommendations on what we should get. She provided GREAT customer service and her recommendation was spot on in regards to the Crispy Chicken club which I ordered. This Crispy Chick Club was GREAT!!! Nice meat, the sauce provided made it even better. The fries were hot and tasty. They are very similar to Five Guys but crispier. The veggie burger was a no go for my wife. They were nice enough to swap it out. The Arnold Palmer was great! Great mix of lemonade and ice tea. The restaurant was really clean as well as the bathroom. This was a great spot to venture. They serve smashed burgers, chicken sandwiches and hotdogs. I went with the burger, which I thought was pretty tasty. The signature burger was more of an upgraded big mac but better (better meat quality for sure). The fries were even better, fried perfectly with a slight crisp and the right amount of salt. I could've ate two orders of fries. They gave me a sauce on the side but I wasn't sure if it was for the burger or fries so I drizzled some on my burger. Service was good, the gentleman was very friendly and answered any questions I had and I didn't have to wait long for fresh, hot food. The establishment was pretty plain decor with booth seating. Brightly colored walls if I recall and they had seating available for the folks waiting on their to go orders which I thought was nice. Love this place!! I haven't been inside, this review is just for their take out/delivery. There's something special about the simple art of a burger and fries. It's just so comforting and special. Swizzler takes the classic formula and does it justice! The burgers are super simple, just done really well. Whenever we get delivery, the food is always still warm and fresh. The fries are absolutely to die for! Their drinks are great, too. I highly recommend their signature burgers!! Super delicious with their special sauce. I really appreciate the variety of sauces they carry, too. The spicy sauce is super good. It's really nice to have a selection that isn't just ketchup!! Picture doesn't do it justice. Genuinely the most delicious burger I've ever had in my life. The bun is buttery and soft with a little crunch on the inside from sitting on the grill. The smashed burgers are divine and come with two patties which makes the ratio perfect. Fries are fried to perfection in avocado oil which is a nice touch. I don't live in DC and I'll be dreaming about this burger. Might book another flight back just to experience this juicy, saucy deliciousness again. 100/10. read more

This place touted the best burgers in the area so I had to try it out. I arrived about 7pm and everything was pretty calm inside. The other customers were patiently waiting and the lady behind the counter was super helpful and friendly. With her recommendations I tried the all-American Burger with the Mayo on the side just to make sure I'd like it's flavor (she wasnt a fan). Everything was made to order and the half-and-half lemonade/tea didn't disappoint. I got my Burger which was cooked to medium, thankfully closer to medium well. It was pretty juicy and tasty but the overwhelming saltiness was a bit much. With the double patty, it's very filling. Not too sure if I'd have it again due to the high salt. read more

Sizzlers is your typical day casual burger spot where you can choose everything from beef patties, hot dogs to plant based burgers. They have what's called the Swizz which is their specialty burger that comes with swizz sauce. The sauce is good and taste very similar to thousand islands dressing. This special restaurant had a few places to dine indoors but it was limited so If you go during a busy time Troy may be doing take out.
