Unbelievable for a four star property. If you want it, you must go and buy it during regular business hours at the rec center. -New towels are provided only on Tuesdays at the towel exchange. Not very helpful when your stay is Thursday through Sunday. -You are fined if you do not wash the dishes and empty the dishwasher and take out the trash in your own room. this is buried in the checkout instructions (when was the last time you opened a room folio to even read the check out instructions at a hotel). Pretty draconian since it's very non-standard for other properties. See my pictures. This and many other rules are excessive and controlling. Cameras everywhere with staff coming to question your compliance with minutia -Felt on edge all weekend due to staff not picking at us and kids. Not a good place to relax.

The rates we paid were really reasonable, but not certain if these are available to everyone or not. Our family is 4 mini families and we were each able to get our own rooms of various sizes, all with kitchens. This allowed us plenty of privacy and time to decompress while still letting us utilize the amenities together. The rooms were nice and clean, no complaints there, all had balconies. We had a couple barbecues at the community picnic areas, made good use of the recreation center, toyed around with the driving/putting range and dined a couple times at the golf course restaurant. My Dad played the golf course but it seems that the other clientele do not enjoy having people on the course who are not skilled at the game. The rec center has a variety of things to do from net sports, to racquetball, to basketball, pool, hot tub, steam room, etc. We enjoyed the saltwater pool and hot tub, although it is very bizarre to me that you have to walk down a hall dripping wet and freezing to access the hot tub/steam room. The hot tub is big so at least you are unlikely to walk over there and find it too full to get in. We were able to do water aerobics one day, but these really should be offered more frequently. There is a mini golf course on site which does cost an additional fee, there are also bikes available to rent. A trail circles the resort, some of it paved, some of it dirt. I hear you can fish here, but none of us did that. Seems you can not swim in the lake. This is a bit of a drive from most things so if you want to go to restaurants and places like Silverwood, Courdelane, Sandpoint, etc be prepared to spend a lot of time in the car. I would have preferred to stay somewhere that was closer to things to do. There is not much to do here once it gets dark. Some of the staff were not the friendliest.

The rock wall is so much fun and paths change periodically so you can keep it new. We love the pool areas. I swim in the competitive pools and enjoy the lazy river with friends and family. My only critique would be- that there needs to be more hours open for families to enjoy swimming. We have a very flexible personal schedule however several times this past year I've gone to take the family swimming only to have the swim area designated for "adult swim only" or the pool is closed for cleaning etc. As others have mentioned, lane swimming can be a challenge also with water polo or team swim events. Using the playcare area has been a true blessing. Childcare costs are insane, especially for large families. Paying for a monthly membership with playcare options is very economical whether or not I use the gym for that two hours. Other than that I've been very pleased with the facility, its cleanliness, and staff that appear to be working with good attitudes and at the best of their abilities.

Here I can be on it for an hour and no pain on my joints. They offer a variety of different cardio classes and you can walk outside on the trails. BUT I did notice it was extremely hot in the cardio area even with the fan on! I think the hardest for me is trying to find a parking spot if you come at peak times you literally have to wait there's nowhere to park. We visited the Southside Family Aquatic Facility on a Saturday afternoon and unfortunately had a…read moredisappointing experience due to a rigid and unyielding ticket policy. Our group was split into two parties: the first half (two adults and two children) arrived around 2:30 PM and were able to purchase tickets and enter without issue. The second half of our group (one adult and two young children) arrived shortly after at 3:00 PM, unaware that tickets had sold out for the day. Since none of us had purchased tickets in advance, they were denied entry despite arriving only 30 minutes later. What made the situation particularly upsetting was that several families were visibly leaving the facility as we spoke with staff. We asked if it would be possible for our friends to take the spots of those who had exited, but were told this was not allowed under any circumstances. Even when a kind stranger inside the park offered to give up their spots for our group, the staff refused to make any accommodations. The policy was presented as inflexible, with no room for compassion or situational discretion--despite two very disappointed young children crying at the gate. To make matters worse, an employee (likely a teenage staff member) seated behind the front counter repeatedly told the front desk attendant "no" each time she asked if an exception could be made, leaving her to be the bearer of bad news without offering any personal engagement or empathy. We understand the need for rules and capacity limits, especially for safety. However, it seems entirely reasonable to re-evaluate a system that prevents entry even when space clearly becomes available. A little flexibility or humanity--particularly when dealing with families and small children--would go a long way.

I have two little ones (Age 1 1/2 & 2 1/2 ) who have grown up at home during the Pandemic. Needless to say they are a little shy, and anxious when it comes to new things and new people. Taking them to the YMCA child watch for the first time was extremely nerve wracking, but we were met with the most kind, patient, and warm greetings ever. Each and every one of the care providers talked warmly to the kids, redirecting gently when needed, and reassuring the nervous kids with kindness and compassion. I would 100% recommend taking advantage of the complimentary 2 hour child watch here. It gave me such ease seeing how well my kiddos were being cared for. 5 stars for sure!

So when I finally get back there to talk to her and begin my appointment, at long last, the lady acts like she could care less and says well we have 9 minutes she said like with an attitude of total indifference. I asked if she had an appointment immediately after mine? She says "that's how I work" and her tone was still very uninterested in the fact that I just stopped everything I was doing to come down here, changed my clothes, etc.. She just chews her gum and looked at me like I can't event find the word for how disrespected it made me feel.. yeah I would not recommend Eva to be your physical trainer
