Housed in the owners back yard I wasn't sure we were at the right place when my Uber dropped me off, but step behind the gate and it's like you've been dropped into a circus magic land. My daughters and I did our first trapeze class and has so much fun we rearranged our schedule to return for a silks class by AJ on this trip and when we return to LA area again next month we will be back for both! We are traveling from Orlando area, so it's refreshing to have non Disney related experiences!

Ready to swing!

Truly a unique experience to give to a child. My daughter has attended 3 classes so far and has no intention of stopping. The instructors are friendly, supportive and helpful. Highly recommended!

Oh my god, this is too much fun. I highly recommend this business to absolutely anyone regardless of age, body type, or experience level. I'm making all my friends come with me at least once because everyone should try Trapeze! There's nothing more cathartic than getting off of work, flying in the sky, and learning a new trick! Especially if you're in the area, you have no idea what kinda gold you're sleeping on. Do it!!

Mid-lesson for a backflip dismount (a trick normally performed during your first class!)

There is so much to be said about SwingIt Trapeze! My friends and I decided to all go one night- our group made up 70% of the class- just for the fun of doing something new and unique. Every single one of us has continued to go weekly! It has become so much more than just a fun class, AJ, Nick and all of the regular students have become like another family we get to hang out with each week! They encourage family members to come and observe as well which provides extra support! Both the day and evening class are great for different reasons. Evening is nice since it's cooler and you don't have to deal with the sun shining in your face while the Day time is fun since it gives you a great adrenaline rush for the rest of the day! They will guide you every step of the way and make you feel so accomplished! Even our friend with a fear of heights decided to try it and loves it! Give it a try!

What an AMAZING day! AJ and Nick were on time, welcoming and so friendly to be around the whole time. Nick helped us first timers go through safety and basics quickly and efficiently. AJ helped us on the starting platform and was so encouraging. It was so much fun and I can't wait to return.

Ground view

I found this class on ClassPass (http://class.ps/mAB5X) and it's something I've always wanted to try! My boyfriend and I came the first time but it was sprinkling (how unlucky, it almost never rains in LA!) so he gave us a code to come back another week. It's SO MUCH FUN! When I backflipped off the swing it was the coolest feeling. It looked great on video too! Tips: - Check weather. It's outdoors so you can't grasp the bar if it's wet - Work out your hands! Do pull ups! My hands were dying after an hour and I couldn't continue on. Had I prepped, I may have been able to go on a few more times! - Ask for an ice pack afterwards. It helps SO MUCH. - Spray bug repellent if you get bit easily like me. I got a few ant bites - Wear sunblock but only from elbow up. They will make you wash off the rest!

Takeoff!!

This is hands down the most fun I've had as an adult! Don't stop at 1, 5, or 10 lessons. It's gets more fun the more you do it! Great outdoor healthy environment and super cool staff and team!

My first catch! Only my 3rd time going and I was able to do this, so fun!

My favorite place! I was looking for something new to try one day and came across SwingIt Trapeze online. Im so happy I gave it a try it's now my new favorite skill :) Nick and AJ are so nice and helpful and you could tell they have a passion for trapeze. I even brought of my friends here and my boyfriend and they both loved it! It's an experience that everyone should try at least once (after that you'll most likely get hooked) im so excited to learn new tricks and keep getting better!! You'd be surprised at how fast you can learn new tricks

Aerial photoshoot at SwingIt Trapeze for students to showcase what they've been learning.

Nick and AJ are the best, as is trapeze! This is the best place (and one of the only ones left in the LA area now!) to fly. Do it! :)

Mr. Noli set example for my peers and I, where we were encouraged to work with one another and elaborate on each other's skills. He created a safe space which allowed us to be ourselves and receive great knowledge on what it takes to be a CNA. A huge shoutout to our program director, Dr. Vu, who went above and beyond to make sure we were prepared for the NBCOT. You can tell she genuinely cares about her students' success and puts in the effort to guide and support everyone throughout the program. All of my professors also played a big role in my journey. Professor Estoque had this really warm, motherly/older sister kind of energy that made you feel supported and comfortable, especially during stressful times. Professor Hintay had a calm and steady presence that made the class feel grounded. She explained things clearly and helped break down more complex topics in a way that felt manageable. Dr. Lim was kind but pushed us to really understand the material on a deeper level, which made a big difference in our learning. Professor Oh was newer to the program, but you could really see the effort he put into improving and growing as an instructor. Professor Son was fun and funny but she also challenged us in a good way. She held us to a high standard, but it ultimately helped us become more confident and prepared. She took on both roles as our instructor and fieldwork coordinator, and she handled both incredibly well. She was organized, supportive, and played a big role in helping us transition into our clinical experiences. All the professors were knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to help when things got tough. You can really feel that they want you to succeed, not just pass. One of the best parts of my experience was the friendships I made and the extra activities we got to be a part of. Whether it was volunteering or just participating in school events, those moments made everything more fun and created memories I'll always carry with me. Overall, I'm grateful for my experience at ACC. Going back to school was one of the best decisions I made, and I feel confident stepping into my career as a COTA because of the foundation I built here.

This place is technically 5 stars but I have to give it 3 due to the fact that their privacy of personal information is POOR! I am going to address this first.... Every morning you sign in at the front desk with the receptionist. You sign in on your class sheet and you also hand in your attendance card at the beginning of the day. On the class sheet, you are filling out your name, last four (social) and full birthday. This is for everyone to see. Your attendance card has your FULL social on it and many times this is out in the open. I just don't understand why this is even a problem. I know people who have brought it up and their answer was "this is just how we do it here." That is unacceptable. And I've read other reviews that stated the same. Some may not find it a big deal but I think that this is the one thing that needs to change. Other than that this place is fantastic for learning what you need. They make sure you have everything you need in order to pass the test and "stick it to the man" as Constance would say. My instructors were: Steve - he generally will go by the book, read it out loud and reinforce the material with ways to remember certain things and throw in some real life examples. Sandra - is lively, a good amount of real world examples, she too will reinforce material with ways to remember the important things. She pretty high energy too Constance - straight forward with the book (I mean, it's pretty hard to spice up insurance code), but she has real world examples and she wants everyone to stick it to the man. Fun Tiffany - She did the first part of the crash course. Good energy, real life examples. laughs a lot (keeps energy going) and knows her stuff. I enjoyed all of my instructors, they all brought their own personality to the table to teach the things we needed to pass. I would go back for them for sure. My co-worker and I took the class together and both passed easily. So the results of Mike Russ is not in question. I just wish they fixed their privacy issue.... and this place would be 5 stars all day long.
