Not only did he have a wonderful experience with his young team but the coaches really focused on healthy player development, teamwork and the importance of a "team" and fixed the bad habits learned young. My son has also been to many of the vacation camps that they offer and has a BLAST. They took the old defunct Extra Innings Woburn and renovated the space with new cages, indoor turf and lighting. The facility is extremely well lit, which is a major plus, as many of the indoor baseball businesses in the area have poor lighting. It is easy to book tunnel time online and their rates are competitive. The owners take a no frills approach to the business. There is no pro shop or vending machines to speak of. The owners love of the game is apparent in everything they do, from running the center to coaching kids in their AAU program. They also feature many quality instructors with impressive credentials. The A's proprietors, Brian and Scott Blumsack also run an AAU program out of the Woburn location. There are 7 teams from 10u to 18u. The program started 2 years ago in this location. They play in highly competitive tournaments throughout the summer and are very involved in the development of their players. If your child has the talent, they can help them get to the next level.
