My little started swim lessons around 20 months old and is now 5.5 years old! We have been coming weekly to this location, and it has seriously become a second home to us with a large extended family! Over the years we have had many amazing swim instructors including Ms. Marissa, Ms. Angelina, Ms. Karyn, Ms. Rachel, Ms. Corey, and countless wonderful others who have helped my little learn to swim across the pool in all four strokes before age 5. Every time we walk in the door my little is greeted by the front desk and office staff by name and it makes us feel so welcomed. The facility is always clean and organized (thanks Jan and team!). Each staff member working knows my child's level and how to help her improve her swim strokes. I also appreciate how the staff is very organized and everyone has a clear job that gets done in the pool, outside of the pool, and around the building. As a parent, I am so thankful for this large group of trusted adults that have not only taught my little how to swim, but have created amazing memories for her (like singing Taylor Swift at the top of their lungs and having us participate in a promotional photo shoot) and given her a wide net of trusted adults that she feels comfortable with and learns from.

My 5 year old barely knows freestyle and no other strokes. I just got the notice that he has achieved a Beginner Safety Skill 'Tread water 5 sec, ret to wall, climb out'. My opinion starts here: Really, that is what you spend the 30 minute session with another learner, so 15 minutes actually; to practice AND test? Final painful learning: You can't trust them to actually teach your child to swim. I told them this is the last quarter we are with them because I am putting him in swim team in the summer. Apparently, swim team only need 2 strokes and to scale a regulation pool. I thought the response was going to be ok, let's work on the endurance, because, you know, I still trusted that my kid was going to be a foundationally trained swimmer as I have been very trusting and patient with their 'method'. The response after the class was 'I see that our instructor is not giving feedback, that is how they usually accelerate. I told them to give feedback.' Planning to file a formal complaint.

In less than six months, she has been learning essential skills with the right technique. My 3-year-old also started at British Swim at the same time, and in less than six months, he went from not liking to be in water to beginning to back float. At British Swim, they truly focus on teaching water survival skills using proper techniques and structured methods. Their step-by-step approach ensures that kids learn all swimming styles correctly and confidently. The coaches, Mr. Forest and Tina, are fantastic with children and pay close attention to detail. The academy also has a great cancellation and makeup policy, making scheduling convenient for busy families. Neeru, the owner, goes above and beyond to ensure each child is progressing and receiving the right guidance. She is also incredibly helpful with scheduling, always finding solutions when conflicts arise. After such a positive experience with my kids, I decided to take adult classes myself to refine my swimming technique. In just two lessons, I've already learned a great deal. I highly recommend British Swim to anyone looking for focused, results-driven swim coaching for kids at the right pace.

There are a few fun tube waterslides as well for older children and adults. I just wish the changing rooms/locker rooms were a bit cleaner with more benches to put stuff on while changing, a lot of the changing areas were converted from the old shower stalls. Tickets can be a bit pricey, but look into late entry for cheaper ticket prices.

A fun place for a birthday party!!…read more It sucks when my daughter's birthday is around the same time I have to prepare for the new school year. It's such a stressful time of the year! That's why I'm just writing this review two months later.... My daughter had a field trip here at summer camp. Since she enjoyed it so much, it gave me an idea for a birthday party with her friends. I'm glad they had a website that made it easy and convenient to book a party. It was cheaper than Cowabunga Water Park (or whatever that took over Raging Waters). This park is smaller, so it was easier for two adults to watch six kids roam around. It has two or three big water slides, a lazy river, and a pool. Enough to keep them busy for four to five hours. The birthday package I chose included entrance tickets, a pizza slice, a drink, and a voucher for Dippin' Dots for each kid. There's a restaurant on-site, therefore, it was convenient to get more food for the kids, like french fries and nachos. The premium cabana was the perfect size for the kids to hang out and eat. A host was available to help when needed during the celebration. Overall, it was a great venue! Organizing a party can be stressful. However, this venue lessened my anxiety. The kids and their parents were grateful. It was also a fantastic way to celebrate the end of their summer vacation.
