I was there representing my daughter (who has a protective order against her soon to be ex husband)…read morefor an appointment for my 8 year old grandson with Dugan- referred by a MedCheck doctor not my grandsons primary care pediatrician. Nurses and staff were dismissive and not helpful. I asked to speak with the department head of ENT. I never saw him. Dugan came to the lobby and explained about her very brief 5 minute examination of my grandson. Tapped me on the shoulder and said "just wanted to keep you in the loop". Never allowed me to ask questions. Not very professional. Not as knowledgeable as she should be, obviously not wanting any questions from the mother of said child!!! My grandson hadn't had a bloody nose since wintertime. Doc was in a hurry to cauterize.

Summary: I'm surprised this place is associated with Community Network as I've historically had…read moredecent experiences with their partners. If you're looking for a knowledgeable allergist/allergy immunotherapy, I do not recommend this provider. The Staff: The scheduling staff on the ENT side are great but the allergy department is a nightmare. It took several months to schedule an appointment as the allergy department wouldn't answer calls or call back after leaving a voicemail. The Allergy office manager Kylie is rude and inconsiderate. Continuously made excuses for the lack of communication and customer service by complaining about not having enough people on staff. Based on the way she treats her customers, it's no wonder she has staffing issues as I'm sure her employees aren't treated much better. Unfortunately my experience with Dr. Dugan wasn't great either. Dr. Dugan operates off of old school to the book information, instead of treating every patient as an individual with varying needs. For example, she prescribed me Nystatin which has synthetic dyes like Red #40, Yellow #6, Blue #2, all known allergens/irritants/toxins that cause side effects like migraines. Nystatin also has corn starch which I'm allergic to. It was clear to me that allergy is not her speciality and because she is not involved with her patients, she does whatever Kylie (the Allergy department manager) tells her to do. There were also times when my appointment would be suddenly canceled as the doctor had a conflict. I do appreciate how much they leverage MyChart however. Based on my experience, they hold their patients to a much higher standard than they hold for themselves. How you're treated at this facility and the 'standards' they impose are luck of the draw. Hopefully you walk in on a good day or hopefully someone there likes you, or you'll have a poor experience, even though you're the paying patient. Customer service isn't a priority! The Care: One instance when I was there for a weekly allergy shot, there was barely any serum left because they had forgotten to mix mine. The allergy specialist tried to pull as much liquid into the needle as possible so I wouldn't miss that week (as they told me I would have to start over). But since there wasn't much left, she injected mostly air into my arms causing quite a bit of bruising and discomfort. The allergy shots are meant to be subcutaneous (under the skin but not in the muscle) however most the time they injected into my muscle, again causing bruising and discomfort. After 6+ months of this type of care, hundreds of dollars, and no results (other than bruised worn out arms) I've decided to move to a different allergy provider that provides sublingual drops. The Facility: The building is old and worn down, it doesn't feel like a clean medical facility. I was thrown off by the mold/mildew smell the first time I walked in, I should have followed that instinct and walked right back out!
