Swig, a drive-thru experience that offers customizable drinks, caught my attention as a new business in my area. They specialize in "dirty sodas," a nostalgic treat that reminded me of my childhood when I would mix all the sodas together and call it a "suicide." These sodas come with various flavors, fruits, and creams. In addition to dirty sodas, Swig also offers water-based refreshers and Revivers energy drinks. The company was founded by a Mormon mom of five in Utah, inspired by her daily trips to Sonic for her Diet Coke. I appreciate that most of their drinks, including their popular drinks, can be made sugar-free. The sizes range from small to 44 ounces, and I recently bought a 44-ounce drink on my last visit. The first time I went to Swig, I walked in to get a feel for the place and ask questions. The shop has a small foyer with high tables on both sides, where bar stools are available. The staff is usually bubbly and friendly, eager to help you create your perfect drink. On my last visit, I decided to try the drive-thru. They had their regular young employees ready to take my order, just like at Chick-fil-A or Dutch Bros. However, I noticed a sign with their seasonal drinks that wasn't visible at the counter. The new Spring Menu includes Berry Bougie, Citrus Sunrise, and Mojito. I opted for the Citrus Sunrise, which was made sugar-free except for the strawberry puree. It was incredibly delicious, and I chose sparkling water instead of the flat water. My wife tried the Texas Tab, which had Dr. Pepper, vanilla, and coconut cream. She enjoyed her first one more, which was the Spring Fling-Dr. Pepper, Vanilla, strawberry puree, and coconut cream. My first drink I had there was The reviver Energy drink called the Drama Queen which had energy powder they call SF Reviver, Fresca instead of lemonade, Sf Strawberry, SF peach, SF coconut. Be warned stick to a smaller size cause I was bussing all day! We decided to sign up for their loyalty program and are now hooked. After all, Swig has proven to be a delightful addition to my life, and I find myself craving their drinks frequently.

The drink I got was amazing 5/5. I got a Waikiki with fresh lime added but I got to the bottom of my drink and looked inside my cup and there was a gnat or a bug. Not sure how many I drank. Someone isn't taking care of prep or cleanliness. Pictures attached

Yum! What a fun treat for the whole family. Great combo of flavors and choices. Our treat a lot close to home.

It took forever to get the soda. Tasted flat when we got it, not as crisp as a flavored Sonic Soda.

I looked high and low for a place that serves 'Nduja (spreadable salami) in Knoxville/ surrounding areas, and Amici is where I found it. It isn't something that you can find easily here, so I was excited to take him here, knowing he would be excited. We had a corner table, I sat on the booth side, which i'm 5'5, but the booth is a bit tall, so I couldn't place my feet on the floor. It honestly didn't bother me, there were pillows to prop for the bench seating and I was fine. We started with an appetizer (which I really wanted to try) the Arancini. Just WOW, they were big in size, and absolutely mouthwatering, flavorful and delectable. They were perfectly fried, were crisp, just the right hotness, and the pomodoro could be eaten by the spoonful. Honestly everything was great, but that appetizer still has me thinking about it. I ordered the Fig and Prosciutto pizza on sourdough and my boyfriend ordered a Four Cheese with 'Nduja. My pizza was good, sweet, salty and savory. He enjoyed his 'Nduja, but it was a bit different consistency that he was used to. They did say they made it in house which was nice for authenticity. For his birthday we ordered the Zeppole (its like a fried donut with a lemon glaze) - not my forte personally, because if it's not chocolate it isn't worth the calories- but it's not my birthday, hah. He absolutely loved the Zeppole and had dreams about. Over all we had a pleasant experience. Trust me, don't sleep on those Arancini.

Both servers we had were knowledgeable and very nice. Amici has a small menu and everything is really delicious. We have had their risotto, the pork and several of the pastas. We have not yet tried the pizza but it looks great. We have tried their arancini and salads both are great. Their deserts are excellent. Amici is as good as north end Boston Italian restaurants.

I ordered my extra steak and egg quesadilla with an iced coffee from the kiosk. That was my first mistake, but as I'm watching them do there thing. A Mexican gentlemen with no ability to speak English could not communicate with them, so I did my best to translate. The situation was resolved in that time I ordered a free item off my app (cheesy sausage burrito) during this time the other guy heard order up for Daniel... I watched him take it to his table open it and realize that's not his, he rewrapped it, put it back and give it at the counter. The gentleman worker with a twisted face the rewraps it and puts it back in the bag, and places it on the "to go" rack for pickup (he didn't know it was my second order). Then I watched him give me 1 scoop of steak instead of the extra I paid $2 for. This is where I started to get annoyed. I confronted him on both to which the 2 female workers came out (presumably managers?) and also spoke with me. I was told "we can't help what other customers do" and "if you'd like you can have your order remade". This is NOT the way to retain customers. Instead of making a scene and losing my cool I walked out, trashed my entire order and went to a local spot down the road. Really disappointing experience since this is a Tennessee location and I regard TN highly. P.S. coffee was trash as well...$10 down the drain and still hungry. 0/0 won't go back to this one.
