I told her we were from out of town and had never been in before. She went over the various types of cookies and even pointed out some of her favorites. I went with the lemon gooey butter, cinnamon roll gooey butter, birthday gooey butter, and the traditional snickerdoodle. The gooey butter cookies were flavorful and the perfect size. The birthday cake was my favorite. The snickerdoodle cookie was great, but if I went back I would probably opt to get another flavor of gooey butter rather than the traditional cookie. I definitely recommend checking out this place!

She is only 2 and when she saw the cake she said, "Uh oh!" and pointed to where the frosting was sliding off. My family had one piece each of the cake and we tossed the rest. It wasn't worth eating. The cake and the frosting tasted old, as though it had been sitting out for days. The letters of her name on top of the cake fell off and we had to place them back on as best as we could. It was supposed to be gluten free but made my husband sick after eating his piece. I can't believe they thought it was OK to charge me $60 for when we were given. Honestly, so disappointed.

Kyle's Creamery - Where Your Taste Buds Hit the Slopes…read more If heaven had a ski resort, Kyle's Creamery would be the après-ski lounge--minus the altitude sickness and overpriced hot cocoa. From the second I walked in, the place sparkled like fresh powder after a snowstorm. Floors so clean you could drop a scoop and still debate the five-second rule (don't worry, I didn't... probably). The young lady behind the counter was an absolute ice-cream whisperer--all smiles, quick scoops, and just the right amount of helpfulness. She guided me through 24 frosty flavor peaks, complete with seasonal fall specials that practically screamed sweater weather and cinnamon dreams. After some intense flavor reconnaissance, I settled on the Carrot Cake ice cream--and let me tell you, that decision deserves its own victory flag at the summit. It's rich, creamy, perfectly spiced, and tastes like someone turned Grandma's dessert into a frozen miracle. Prices? Shockingly reasonable.
