Worst place to go at night! Thought me and my husband could go to get a little sweet treat. Just a sweet tea with light ice extra strawberries & a vanilla milkshake with chocolate bits in it. Once I ordered it a double checked if it had bits in it and they lady agreed just for us to wait 15min. There was only one person there. I had to call them back to see if they had my order and they finally remembered to bring it just for my tea to taste all watered down claimed to be made "fresh" that was a whole lie it was all melted ice, and my husband's milkshake was all watered down and only chocolate. Ridiculous I respectfully asked for a refund just for them to send a manager and the manager only brought us a ticket for a free item next time. A few weeks ago I took my four year old daughter to go get a slushy. When I pulled up they said they were drive through only that day. So we went to the drive through and it took 40 minutes and o get two drinks. Bad experience, but I get it, things happen, people call out unexpectedly etc. Today I went back and we were going to get a slushy and watch the planes land. We get out and go to place our order, same thing. Drive through only. I tell them I'm not doing the drive through, making my kid sit in the car for thirty minutes. She said she's the only one trained, although I can see multiple people in there. I had to drag my sobbing four year old back to the car. When we pulled up to the window she gave us the most annoyed and nastiest look like she did not want to serve us at all. She handed my friend her shake and closed the window abruptly. Our adventure started when we pulled up to the mic to order. No cars at all, so zero wait to be expected. A very sweet young lady answered the mic, and said she would be with us in one minute. I can tell you that she was not with us in one minute, but more like 20. Once she was able to take our order, we ordered and she even repeated exactly what we wanted. But as we were ordering on the mic with the sweet young lady, a tan beat up suburban passed us in line and ordered at the window. Didn't know you could do that, but they did. We got to the window expecting our order to be complete (hint: the extra 20 min we waited for the tan suburban in front of us to get their order). In fact, she had not even started on our order! To our surprise the super sweet young lady on the mic was not at all sweet, young, or super. But actually I think she must of had a meth addiction (hint: her brown teeth which could of used some toothpaste that would have been cheaper than the Mountain Dew she had been sippin' on all day). As we watched, she started the order. Only 3 drinks. That all we ordered. 15min is how long it took to make the drinks. Just regular dinks. Nothing fancy. And to our surprise, they were not the drinks we ordered at all. Totally different. This location of sonic is struggling and needs help. Do yourself a favor & avoid. Wife and I ordered from one of the stalls just after 2 PM on a Tuesday. Wasn't incredibly busy. In the 20 minutes it took for the team to get us our two whole slushes & one order of pretzels, one lady who arrived after us & made her order in the exact same manner as we did, got her food & left. Slushes were mostly juice, & the cheese for the pretzels was cold. I understand it's "happy hour," but it's not as if we're getting our drinks for free. We're still paying & still expect acceptable service. Very unprofessional. Also, we noticed our receipt said the sale was closed after 5 minutes. No the hell it was NOT. If it were, then why would it take a carhop 15 more minutes to get us our order? It also said we gave a round dollar amount when we actually paid in exact change.
