I have interviewed a handful of them and this company stood out for: - COMPETITIVE PRICING: Cheapest among other companies with the same product and installation. - TRANSPARENCY: Details description of each door or window including pictures, dimensions and PRICE in the quote. - PUNCTUALITY: My windows and doors were installed 6 weeks BEFORE estimated time. A big WOW. These are people who took care of my replacement hurricane windows and doors from A-Z: - CODY with Quote : Arrived on time, transparency, no gimmicks, reasonable price, provided company information such as business license, workmanship liability, product warranties... - GREG and JUSTIN, the installers are awesome, they are professional, polite and friendly. They showed up on time and worked hard. The windows and doors look awesome. Greg even installed a peep hole on my entry door for FREE. They covered all furniture, working area and cleaned up spotlessly every day before they left. These two are assets to the company. - Good communication from Ginger, General Manager, Allen Hilton, sales manager to Joy, Mandy... the office's ladies and gentleman kept me informed through out the project. - They are in charge of paperwork to provide for MSFH to make sure that I get the reimbursement. - RYAN, the "Final Punch Out" and Quality Control person who is in charged of the final stage of the windows and doors replacements inspected and covered all nails holes, removed all stickers and make sure all doors and windows worked properly. -My hurricane windows and doors project went smoothly without a snag and got lot of compliments from my neighbors and friends. - A BIG thank you to everyone who is in charged of my project and I won't hesitate to refer this company to my relatives, friends and to everyone. -Absolute Window is a company that do what they say and say what they will do. Only 3 ever sent estimates. Absolute sent 3 different estimates with 3 different manufacturer options. And every one of those options was VERY competitively priced! They also made it clear we could piecemeal the work (just do doors first, then windows... or just a couple windows at first, etc). They were VERY accomodating and willing to work within any financial issue that may have been cause for concern. In the end we went with all 16 windows, a 3-panel slider, a French door, and a slider being converted to French doors being replaced with hurricane glass/windows. My windows had a bit of a catch that made the contracting a bit more problematic but they rolled with it. The office staff was amazing at every step. "Responsive" doesnt even begin to cover it. When the work finally got started, we had a slider being converted to French door, and a previously installed French door that was done improperly. They knocked out the windows within a week. When they realized the installer had issues with the French doors, they sent another team out to help. They showed up at least 3 times to fix the issues from previous contractors (not from Absolute!) shoddy work and did not leave until the work was done right. They realized THEY made a slight mistake on one French door and didnt cut corners!! They removed and replaced both doors so the job was done right!! I don't recall all their names but definitely Ginger, Joyce, Shawna, Greg, and his partner as well as the other 2 from "Crew #2" that came out for the doors.. all deserve a raise for the stuff they dealt with in regards to my particular doors and windows. Ginger would have to be top of that list. She was ALWAYS communicating. I have dealt with a lot of contractors here in SWFL and can say I have NEVER come across a company that seems to treat every portion of the process, from sales to install, as if the house being worked on was their own. They were amazing and made the whole process way less stressful than it could have been. THANK YOU.

If I could give 0 stars I would!…read more I had responded to their Facebook ad that was for $49 maintenance call for the sliding door. When I asked through the chat how much it would be for the door sticking, the response was "maybe I'll come to check it without charge." I had one tech call and ask what the problem was and then was contacted by a second tech who didn't seem to know that the first tech had already called me. The first one came about 45 minutes later and started working. Right away he asked me if I had a stepstool because he couldn't reach the top of the slider. This should be equipment that is always provided by the company, not the homeowner. I didn't have a stepstool and the best I had was my kitchen bar stool. The tech then found that the doors would be too heavy so needed to call out a second person to help him. I don't think he actually worked for their company. The first tech had asked me if I wanted a new door handle for the slider, and at first I had said no, but then thought that there would be a nice quality handle installed along with a new lock and anything else needed. He said it would be $89 with that and what needed to be done with the door. He left for about 45 minutes and then came back with the second person. He brought a very cheap handle for the slider that is chipped in several places and only needed to be attached with two screws. I looked up the handle at the Home stores and it costs is $15. I thought that with the $49 service fee, plus the handle that would make sense to be the $89. As they were working they found that they didn't have a screw that they needed and so they left for another 45 minutes. These techs should have screws and stuff needed with them when they come for the call. When they came back, they took off the doors. At no point did they ever give me an estimate, tell me what they found, what they were doing, or given the option to decide if I wanted the work done. They proceeded to replace the wheels for the track. They moved around furniture on our lanai to put the door down as they are working on things. Nothing was put under the door to protect it. They were also using the stool that he had asked to use, and was using it to hold tools. They got finished working, and at this point had been at the house from start to finish over four hours. Again, he never gave me an estimate or told me what the cost would be, so I was assuming it was the $89 he mentioned previously. He told me that it would be over $300 for the door plus the $89 for the handle. I immediately raised a concern with him that that was never communicated, and frankly, I would not have moved ahead with doing the work at that cost. He said that he could do the handle for $59. Again, this is a cheap handle, that has paint chipped on it already, and only needed two screws. That is a rip off, in and of itself. He said that if I paid him in cash or through Zelle, it would be cheaper. He said he needed to pay the other guy, so the price was justified. He agreed several times that he had made a mistake and had not communicated with me what he was doing and what the price would be. I was still under the impression that this was part of the special that was placed on Facebook and still had the comment from this chat that they would come out and check it free of charge. He ended up taking a little bit off but still having to pay over $300. So to get him out of my house I put it on my credit card. I didn't feel safe at that point. After he left, I found multiple things that concern me, and are not professional . 1. The stool that he used and put tools on now has a bunch of scratches on the top of it that were not there before. If the company knows that height can be a challenge, that should be a piece of equipment that is brought with the tech. 2. The handle that was installed already has paint chipped on it. 3. They moved all the furniture on the lanai and then afterwards did not put it back how it was. This includes chairs, the sofa, a table and two mats. They also left trash outside on my lanai. 4. The sliding door because of being put down on the concrete has scratches and roughness all over it. 5. I have two inside rugs by the slider door, and they now have dark stains all over them. If the techs knew that it would be a mess, they should have moved those out of the way. I now need to buy two new mats. I feel like I was very much taken advantage of. The only amount that he had told me the whole time was that $89. I should not be having to pay hundreds more, and be put on the spot when I didn't approve that cost. I will be following up with my credit card company and a lawyer, as the company refuses to make this right.

Longer story: Our house is 2000 sq feet there are a total of 10 standard windows, 3 small bay windows, and 6 sliding glass panels. Not a huge job. Total cost just over $50K. We signed August 2022 (before Hurricane Ian) and paid the deposit. Hadn't heard from them so 6 months later called to see the status. Turns out with a divorce in the company and turn over we were forgotten about and the windows weren't ordered because no one from Window Geeks contacted our HOA back. So now we were going to be backed up with Hurricane Ian delays. July 2023 windows arrive for install in Sept should take 4-5 days. First they showed up unannounced while we were out of town to install in July but returned in Sept. One installer showed up instead of two. One window was missing. After 1.5 weeks 9 windows installed but they decided they couldn't all of a sudden install the bay windows. One slider had been damaged so wouldn't open so they ordered a replacement. Took a month of back and forth to find out the house bracing was good and bay windows installed Oct 2023. During this time I called to say how unhappy we were and the manager called my wife to yell at her because I complained about him. Took them months to admit they broke the missing window when they first arrived but forgot to reorder it. Finally Feb 2024 the missing window was installed. Nov 2024 the damaged slider was replaced. I spoke with the owner about how outrageous our experience was and he offered a 10% discount. Which by the way was less than our original cost was going to be. When they forgot to order the windows originally standards changed so we had to purchase higher rated/more expensive windows. Also originally we were going to do 0% financing through the company. Nov 2024 that was no longer an option. So his 10% discount didn't even add up to the savings we were going to have. Absolute horrible experience.

Plenty of excuses when there is communication, but if you use them and have any issues, be prepared to always be the one following up. Installers are nice and do the best they can with what they have, but for the price you pay, there shouldn't be close to the number of issues we have encountered. If I could choose again, and we will for our doors, I would never even consider this company or recommend them to anyone.

I had a poor experience with this company because of their dishonest billing practices. Please…read morerefer to Yelp for another user who had a similar experience. Summary: they surprised bill and over billed me and their final concession was still dishonest. Something to be aware of: They charge $257/hour for maintenance work and round up in hour increments. Be very clear about the work expected to be performed and the maximum price you'll pay. I approved a work order for $875 to replace shutter motor and what I thought included the maintenance of my shutters; the price included a 15% discount the company offered due to the recent hurricane (I had to ask for a discount though) but this work order didn't include tax. I received the bill after the work was completed but the amount was for $1,355 (without tax for some reason). That's a 55% increase, which came from two hours of labor at $257/hour and a slat hanger for $50. I approved the original work order assuming maintenance was included, but I was okay paying for added labor even though the original work order didn't include any estimate for it and their hourly rate is unfairly high (my opinion on the latter). But I had an issue particularly with the two hours of labor they charged. I called the office to question the two hours of labor and pointed out that the motor installation already included an hour of work per the original invoice (see picture). They took an hour of labor off the invoice but kept an hour of labor on the bill. I asked why they would charge me for an hour of labor when the tech was there for an additional 30 minutes and they said that they bill in hour increments. I pointed out that this wasn't laid out on the original invoice and furthermore it's unethical to bill this way. They once more lowered the invoice, but instead changed the labor performed to "trip charge" for home visit repair and diagnosis (see picture) after they told me they aren't like the competitors and don't charge for home visits; further, this came after they had already agreed to come out to fix the motor, so the tech was already there and a trip charge wouldn't make sense in this context. I ended up paying the bill because the difference between what the bill should've been and what they offered was $100 different, but it took multiple emails and a call or two to get there. Extremely disappointing experience. Please find another shutter company that bills its customers fairly. AHT has poor communication skills, and their billing practices are dishonest.
