On 12/21/2022 I still didn't get the other email or tracking number, and I started reading all the bad reviews on Yelp. I opened the package and to my surprise, I received the items I ordered 3 days prior. And I paid $0 for shipping, I totally didn't expect to get the items this early. Only 3 days after my order. There was no packing slip, I still don't know what would happen if I were to return it. But I'm gonna keep the items. I got 600 down filled Columbia jacket for my hubby for a great price.

They have a great selection of board shorts (no more heavy cotton) and swim trunks. They do a great job of rotating their clothing so every few weeks you are sure to find new shorts and trunks. They also have a really cool selection of shirts too. Awesome casual stuff where you can just throw something on with a pair of jeans or something if you're hitting the beach or the gym. They offer a lot more than just a surf type store, but if you're looking for that they have that too. I think the prices are pretty reasonable. I'm not sure if they have many sales, but the products are quality and reasonably priced. I find that the clothing they carry here tends to run on the smaller side so be sure to try it on.

I did not find this size at bigger stores. I also like to mention I still buy this place two years ago to check a skateboard or longboard and they took their time explaining to me the difference and how it works. This was my second visit to the store and I was very pleased. Also, on the way out I noticed they have two electric bicycles: cool ones. The location also is very practical and close to uptown and the lakes. Paid street Street parking and affordable.

The guy doing it had a broken arm and did a great job. He had to replace the screws which took awhile. I'm sure he thought I was a Biznitch wife extraordinare. I opted to wait in the car, ran in once for change after the meter parking technician gave me a look because we were expired, then ran in again to see how much longer it was going to be and walked back impatiently to the car. They have been around since 1988. Although it wasn't his cup of tea for a skate board shop, they had what he needed. J said that the guys were really nice and they probably were had I not been so impatient that night, I probably would have talked them up too. They asked J if I was mad because it was taking so long and I looked huffy, but I'm sure they get a lot of wives in there who get impatient waiting. J's reply, "nah she just looks mean". Giving it a 4 based on the end result of the long board, the guys were really great per J and the fact that they did it so close to closing time. I may have to return to experience more of it through my own eyes. What I did see warrants a 4.

The only problem is they are a bit expensive on this girl's Marshall's budget. We always feel sick after buying stuff at Quicksilver, "We just bought this shirt for how much?!" Hope we're okay with whittling away our future children's college fund! But low and behold while strolling around Mall of America this past week we stumble across this Quicksilver location. My husband didn't even want to go in at first reminding me of how expensive it is but I spotted a 50% table, we found 2 items. I asked the sales guys whether this sign was too good to be true, I've never seen a 50% sign at Quicksilver. "Nope, everything there is 50% off," he replied. Not wanting to deal with it later (this was the last stop during our full day of shopping) I asked, "You want to check on that before I quote you on it later." He said sure and confirmed it. At that point we looked up to see racks and racks of 50% off clothing, sweaters and jackets. Jackpot! We racked up $300 of half priced, non sales taxed, quality clothing forcing us to buy an additional bag to fly home with. The sales guy who helped us was really friendly and helpful, price checking everything we were unsure of. He had a long day too, having flown in from CO that morning to work the day after Christmas in the largest mall in the area. You would never know it from his helpful attitude and willingness to start up a conversation. This place made our shopping experience!

I returned to Wai Nani for their Excelsior location this time (previously enjoyed Wayzata). I had a…read morereservation for 4pm, but was late due to not being able to find the rental spot. The website lists the address as 135 Lake St, Excelsior, MN, but based on Apple Maps their location is more accurately described as West Lake Street or First Street, as there is a baseball diamond at 135 Lake Street. We called the company for help as we were lost and to let them know we were running late as a result, and they were unsympathetic but eventually got us to the right spot (albeit late for an only one hour reservation). The two students working said we still ONLY had the time remaining for our hour reservation (i.e. until 5pm) so we had lost the time we couldn't find the location and made no accommodation for us, although they also noted there were no reservations after ours. I completely understand needing to avoid a scheduling conflict, but I certainly wished for a little more understanding after not finding the location since they clarified we wouldn't create an issue by simply pushing our reservation back 20 minutes (if that would have been allowed).

The puffy jacket somehow holds up to my son tearing up playgrounds, climbing all over stuff, rolling around, and generally beating up the coat - and it keeps on going, looks as good as new. So, I am ok with getting another when he outgrew the last one - which is still in great shape and we can re-use for his little sister.
