It's a nice park, but people do speed through here and come in and out without parking, seemingly to scope the scene to do illegal activity. Too many hiding spots and areas not too well lit which I feel attract mischief. Come during the day and you'll be fine.

It has sitting areas, and the trail is maybe a mile or two long. It doesn't really have a specific parking area, so you have to kind of park on the street. The entrances are nice, there are two. There are small box gardens strewn throughout and trash cans at either end of the park.

I'm sure the drainage of this park is a bit poor due to the location, but just take note that your shoes may get pretty muddy. I love this little park, though. I will be honest, this will not be a good dog park for everyone because... The Pro's: *Plenty of space for the dogs to run and get their zoomies out. *Trash cans, Benches for seating, and A doggy water fountain to drink from are available. *Very clean for the most part. You're not stepping over a bunch of poop piles pet parents didn't get up! The Con's: *There's no "Small dog/Large dog" separation. So if your tiny dogs can't hang with the big dogs, this won't be a great place to come! *There were a TON of dogs... when we visited there were at least 20-30 dogs easily. So if you're dog doesn't like being in a big "dog crowd" this won't be a great place for you in the peak times... you may have to beat the crowd by coming early or something but after noon 5ish was super crowded. *There are some imperfections in the landscaping. There are areas where there's a little rocky and just watching the dogs run I was really holding my breath that none of them pulled anything, slid, or stepped too hard on a rock of some sort! It could get ugly real quick! So if the owners out there please patch the area by the sitting stone wall up with grass. Other than those few things it was a great time. There are fairly large patches of dirt/mud where the seated areas (3 benches in the park) are. You can see areas where they have tried putting fake grass down to spark growth but it may take a while (I'm not an expert on this). I can see where this can be muddy if you go after it rained so beware of that. They do have a water fountain and it appears as if other owners have left water bowls there for regular visitors. Some of the owners know each other so that's always a plus which has a true dog lover 'community' feel to it. Deducted a star because the mosquitos were RAMPANT!! We enjoyed roller skating on the walking trail and sunbathing on the green area. There are 4 tennis courts that have automatic lights at night! They are numbered 1-4 starting at the last court on the left. You do have to make a reservation so keep that in mind. The day we visited, we were assigned court 3. I couldn't locate the numbers and later realized they are at the bottom corner of each court. Somebody was on our court but we simply remained on our court since nobody ever showed up. Not a big deal but I have seen scenarios where this can go wrong! Other elements of this park include a dog run area, tennis courts, and a baseball field. Everything is seemingly well maintained and the bathroom seems to be pretty clean.
