It is vastly superior to the macaroni and cheese at Frank Sttits's Bottega Restaurant in Birmingham, which is still delicious of course, but Beautiful Rainbow's is better! There was also an incredibly fresh salad, and it is my understanding that all of the vegetables used here are produced by local farms, including one that is right across the street! The vinaigrette was so flavorful and fresh and made fresh in-house. There was a carrot cake that incredibly moist and decadent, with the richest, but not too sweet, icing. The cookies are always soft and fresh, and the employees can usually be seen cutting the dough and preparing them right then and there. They have a decent selection of drinks and slushees, including Gold Peak tea, which is a good combination/balancer for how sweet the cookies can be. The employees I've dealt with during my visits here over the past couple of years are some of the sweetest people. They always serve me with a smile and are always straightforward and quick with service. The slightly-high price range is worth it for such good service.
