At the end of our meals, the cake was brought out, no knife, no plates. He asked after I blew out the candles (that my mom brought) if we wanted the cake cut and he would take it to the back to have it sliced. I said no I want to cut it myself and that was fine with him. When we got our check, a $25 fee was added to our bill for the cake. We were not made aware of the add on whatsoever. I think if they would've mentioned from the get go that we had to pay for my cake to be brought out we would've declined and kept the cake with us.

Let's talk about customer Service! From the moment Cade stepped up to say Hi, I knew we were going to have great service! We asked a lot of questions, and he made the best suggestions! Top notch! One of my friends was commenting on how she always has the best service, and she and Cade realized he had taken care of her group before! Consistency in the restaurant business is key, but you all nailed it! The wine flight (thanks Cade for the amazing recommendations!!) and the food was outstanding! Huge portions! My husband enjoyed my leftovers for dinner! Thank you for a fabulous experience!

Wild leap is a short walk from the Marriott, with plenty of sight seeing along the way. There is a food truck parked out back and we were able to order burgers, tenders, and fries. There weren't many other options on the menu, and I don't see anything for anyone who might be vegan or have other food specifications, but that doesn't mean it wasn't an option. The staff is incredibly nice! I ordered the tenders and fry combo and got 3 sauces (I had to pay for the third). Even though this is a brewery, there are wine and cocktail options, something for everyone. The prices were great too! A must try in downtown Lagrange

We were here for an 80th birthday party and it could not have been more perfect. There was great space outside to set up a cornhole set and giant Jenga game. And also that they recently hosted a baby shower. If you are looking for a smaller very quaint venture to make wonderful memories, this is the perfect place. The owner, Whitley, was so great to work with and wanted to make sure that all of our needs were met and exceeded. She was delightful. I would highly recommend you check them out.

After a few scrolls, I found the Del'avant. It's about 70 minutes south of Atlanta and honestly, when you exit the highway, you may think that you've made the worst 70 minute drive of your life (only because it's super country), but about 8 minutes from the exit, you find yourself in Downtown LaGrange. When I pulled up to the Del'avant Event Center, I immediately fell in love with the building. It had the elements that I was looking for; exposed bricks that gives the venue a NYC feel, hardwood floors, bridal suite, rooftop space for cocktail hour, ceremony space, parking deck for the guests etc. My fiance at the time and I met with the Venue Manager, Anna. At first, I wasn't sure Anna would be able to fulfill our wedding venue needs. She was late for our initial meeting and when she did show up, she had her sick daughter on her hip the entire time, however, after about an hour, Anna reeled us in and I fell in love with the Del'avant. The $3000 that we paid included the entire venue from 8 a.m. to midnight, use of the bridal and groom suites, a venue hostess who assisted with on the day needs, round, rectangle and high tables, chivari chairs, chaise loungers, accent chairs etc. We loved it!! If you're looking for a venue that's within the budget and aesthetically pleasing and only 70 minutes from Atlanta, the Del'avant is for you!

I was really looking forward to having the short rib. Unfortunately when we were seated our waitress told us they didn't have it that day. While ordering drinks my husband was ordering beer and he was told they didn't sell what he was asking for. Even though it was listed on the menu. He ended up ordering whatever the waitress suggested and we ordered the shrimp cocktail while we looked over the menu. The shrimp cocktail was very good. For dinner I ordered the filet with lobster and my husband the Pork shank. My filet came out overcooked but was promptly fixed. The lobster was amazing ! My husband wasn't a big fan of the pork. We did order a cheesecake for dessert that was also really good. Overall our experience was pleasant but food wise not what I'd expected from the other reviews. However the service was great. The owner is so nice and spent time socializing at each table. He even came to make sure my second set of fillets were good to go. Our waitress is also very nice. I can see us trying this place out again. Hopefully on a night they have short rib.
