August 2022: We…read morehighly recommend - George Johnston, Exterior House Painting. He showed up for the estimation appointment on time and answered 12 or the 15 questions we had pre-written down without me even asking, plus advising us on all the details. We were amazed at how well he knew the business and how polite and professional he was. We ended up selecting him to paint the exterior of our almost 2000 sf. home, including the stucco exterior, all wood trim, 3 metal garage doors, and block walls. His team was professional and did an amazing job! They prepped by power washing the home and going 4" to 6" below grade, moved patio furniture, masked and papered everything off to prevent overspray. Using 2 coats of Dunn Edwards paint, we also selected to have them re-sealed the roof vents, and cement roof tile caps, painted the vent pipes to match and did a wonderful job, and also cleaned up all of their work. In addition, George came by during the painting (2 days), as well as did a walk-thru once the job was completed. He had also painted two of our neighbors' homes before ours and then another one right down the street from us. We highly recommend George Johnston, who is registered with the Registrar of Contractors in AZ. His phone # is: 480-236-0526, (Photos to follow shortly)

When I asked if the price was firm, the response was "No." I cannot speak for others, however, in the 40+ years of sending quotes to clients, I would NEVER send a soft quote. I cannot imagine how this company came up with a quote without either seeing what the project will entail. It is apparent from a review by Caryn V. that Cooper State Home Improvements, this company does many things well. I simply require a painter, who can survey the scope of work and give me a firm quote, inclusive of warranty.

I found Renewed painting here on Yelp. I was in need of both interior…read more and exterior painting as part of a reconstruction project. Met with Rob at the house discussing our needs, paint type, timing, and square footage. Wanted to make sure we had someone lined up so, we met a month or more in advance. All the contractual aspects were handled by Josh. Very easy to deal with. When painting started it was well over a 100 degrees and our house had no power so working conditions were less than ideal. They persevered and got it done. Exterior paint was delayed more than a week due to high ph level in new stucco. Rob showed up on a Saturday to get it done, house trim and body. Overall, paint turned out good and Rob responded quickly when a couple of problem areas showed up. Would recommend Renewed painting.

There were also misses that occurred on the door frame which we are having to go back and touch up, especially the hinge area. Although They have came back to touch up or make corrections, I was hoping the painting job initially would be detailed and meticulous and not having to find misses. Overall, We had an okay experience.
