Throughout the house missing areas. The second time they came we told the man let's see how it looks when it dries. If there were more issues we would have them come back. Walked in the house with another man who claimed to be the owner. He looked around and insisted the mother (me) leave the property if he was going to discuss it. The mother (me) didn't even say anything. The client and the mother were together to ensure everything was articulated to the owner about the issues. The painters refused the fixing of the job and walked out. They had no intentions to address the mistakes. At one time they might have been great. Brand new doors inside the house should have been spray painted and not brush stokes all over them. They were upset we wanted them fixed. read more

We met with several painting contractors and chose Bowman Painting because Scott Bowman presented himself in a professional manner. Bowman Painting was next to the highest price quoted to paint our home. We paid almost 12,000.00 to have interior painted . We had many problems with the professionalism of the crew and the work being done . Prep did not exist. If there was a problem brought to crews attention thats when a repair would be done . Ceiling paint was not stirred before all of the hallway and stair ceilings were done . Ceilings looked like they were white washed . They were repainted. I still have ceilings that were not completely covered with white ceiling paint in different areas of the house . Doors and trim were not prepped and within 2 weeks paint started flaking off . For Bowman Painting to repair what was not prepped in the first place Scott Bowman voided our 1 year labor warranty . I still have so many roller marks in the tray ceiling of the master bedroom. Mr Bowman sent employees to collect payment and meet with us . Very unprofessional . His foreman Richard tried to fix , repair and be the go between for Bowman painting . Drop clothes had sand and small rocks that were left on my wood floor in one of the rooms and paint splatter on all of tile edges and wood floors where there were no drop clothes or prep done near the edges . read more

Bowman Painting did an outstanding job painting our entire condominium complex. It was a big job that took over 3 months with beautiful results. Julio, Tommy, and the rest of the crew were very professional and friendly at all times. They were flexible in working around all the guests that were staying on the property during the project. Their attention to detail did not go unnoticed by the guests, owners, and neighboring condos due to the MANY compliments we received during and after the project. This company is unethical. I was quoted for a 4000 sq ft home I own. I received the quote and noticed that the word "One" coat was bolder and underlined. The person who did the estimate, according to him "a vested party in Bowman", quoted us mid 7000 range. I called and stated my concern about "one" being specifically bolded and underlined. I asked, what if a single coat doesnt cover? They stated, "oh, we would never leave a customer like that." I asked for a revised statement with "paint to cover." It came back, clearly not standing behind their "we would not leave you like that" and tacked on 2000 dollars. I spoke to someone who worked for them and left due to their unethical practices. He stated that this company gives you the "one coat" contract knowing it won't cover. With the job half finished, they approach the homeowner for MORE MONEY. The homeowner is trapped at this point, because the company already started the job. Stay away. This is unethical business practice at its finest. read more

We had our entire downstairs painted. The crew was professional, and I was optimistic that it would go well. After they left, I started noticing harder to reach spots by doors, in tighter corners, etc, that they simply didn't try to reach. There were about 10 spots, many of which were large. Because we had the walls painted white, any existing "old" color was obvious. In our office, the caulking started dripping/peeling from the ceiling almost immediately, taking the new paint with it. We tried calling many times; I even sent a letter, hoping someone at their office would read it and reach out, but no one did, so I had to repaint what I already paid professionals to do. read more
