Sooooooo, I finally brought my my kids and I to this place I was referred to by my great friend Cristian. LET ME TELL YOU!!!!!!!!! By far, the best ice cream I've eaten in FL so far!!!! However, I haven't had a chance to try their new gelato. I love their $2 soft serve cone and $5 milkshake deals. The cherry on top with this place is the first class service. Cons: Price was a little high, almost $6 for 3 scoops and they weren't generous and that is with no toppings. Spent over $10 for just my dad and I. Options, I wish there were a few more then what they had.. Inside did not feel like an ice cream shop. It was really outdated and just dark inside. There are many reasons I can give to explain 5 stars but I'll focus on the top three which I count most important. Before I do I have to say the best compliment I can give is bringing friends and family to a place over and over. I have done this numerous times with this ice cream shop. On to the three top reasons for 5 stars 1) The service has always been above excellent. Even when the place is packed, the staff is excited and happy to share samples before you make your final selection. 2) The variety of flavors is amazing. They not only serve the "must have" basics of chocolate, strawberry and vanilla, but concoct some amazing flavors like "Maple Bacon" and "Crispy Cream Glazed Doughnut" ice cream. Amazing! 3) The community spirit the owners have is above and beyond the call of duty. They give of themselves to other businesses, non profits and especially the churches in the community. I screwed up my last review. I reviewed a nearby candy shop with a similar name. This is simply the best ice cream store in Florida. All offerings are produced in the store by Jimmy and his family/crew. Unusual flavors and extremely high quality. It is a hometown shop and service can take a bit when they are busy, but everyone is friendly and charming. You can also get custom flavors made for special occasions. Around the corner and down the street at Pat & Toni's Sweet Things candy shop you can get Jimmy's ice cream. read more

The girl working behind the counter tonight was so helpful after we told her it was our first visit and gave us so much information on how they make their ice cream. She even offered suggestions and let us sample! Her friendly demeanor is enough to make us want to come back! My husband got the maple bacon which he let me try. It was sweet and creamy without being too overwhelming, but the true star was the bacon which was thick cut and caramelized. I got the coffee and coffee caramel brownie which was to die for! The fact that the owners of this place are displaced northerners (NY and NJ to be exact) just adds to how cool it is. Up front is really unassuming and you might just walk past it if you weren't looking for it. But the fact is that good homemade ice cream is hard to come by and this place has it. I'd say they also have northern charm, but they were really nice people so I can't. We even bonded over some northern NJ and NYC talk.
