I worry that some enterprises think of a pun and then find a trade to work around it. Whether that happens or not, you still want a shop to have purpose beyond the two-minute twinkle of gag name. Sweet Spot manages it, packing a meaningful wallop through the medium of sweeties alone. And because it's a candy land, it seems impervious to a supposed law of diminishing returns, now that stockists of retro treats are not uncommon.
The only downside is that your eyes can be a bit bigger than your dentist bill. It's enough to make you wish you had hamster pouches for storing the odd flying saucer. The fare, then, is first rate, but the reality is that the displays are perhaps more inviting than the goodies deserve.
