I always come here for my hair cuts! I have had multiple appointments and done one walk-in so far,…read moreand have been extremely impressed! I seen brynn (hope im spelling that right) during my walk-in and she was so kind and didn't force me into an awkward conversation, and truly did such a great job with my hair its super thick so i wanted to add a little bit of layers and she did amazing!

I booked my mom a same day appointment to get her hair permed. I called around 1:30p and they said…read morewe could come at 5. They called us back to say that since the salon closed at 8 she would not be able to sit underneath a dryer only diffused. We said that was fine as long as her hair wasn't soaking wet and she had curls. The perm was done, I left a 20% tip on my card and we left. She had curls when we left. The next morning she had loose waves so, we used mousse and a diffuser. By day 5, there were no curls at all. The stylist was pleasurable but with what my mom's hair looks like now it's obvious she did not do her perm correctly. So we've wasted $180 on a hairstyle that is no more. I feel like this salon should've had us come in the next day instead of booking same day and basically having a rush job done to ensure they closed on time. We would have been perfectly fine with that.

They really listened to what the customers (my daughters) wanted and gave them exactly what they asked for. My daughters look stunning, and they enjoyed the beautifully decorated setting, the super friendly staff, the product recommendations, and the way that they were treated and pampered so much! I'm so glad we found this salon and cannot wait to go back!

One box of blondie blonde hair dye. 2 am…read more And an emotional breakdown. Yes, one can imagine the holy trinity of a shit storm brewing when all three collide and erupt into a plethora of clusterfucks. The expectation WAS to be the next Pamela Anderson and have the blonde hair every self tanning enthusiast craves. The result? Not a single strand embodied Pamela and pretty much all of it screamed the LORAX. An utter disaster to say the least. So what does one do in such a situation? You guessed it. Call your bestie and hope and pray that there is a possible solution or maybe an answer. Sadly her solution was bleaching which, lets face it, if I could screw up with box dye, bleach would've definitely destroyed, if not even fried, my hair. So POSHE was my next solution. I've been there before to get some highlights and I had such a wonderful experience and felt cared for. All of the ladies are quite lovely and listen to your needs but also go a above and beyond for you and your hair. They will have you walking out of there FLAWLESS but also full of CONFIDENCE! So I gave them a call, hoping and praying I could schedule an appointment at their earliest convenience. They were so incredibly understanding and kind towards my screw up and were able to see me that day! The stylist did such a phenomenal job and took it from a hideous orange to a mellow version of a strawberry blonde which looks absolutely GORGEOUS! I would not recommend any other salon except THIS one! They take care of your hair AND your needs. She did such a fantastic job I burst into tears when I saw the results! I will be going there again in a few weeks for another appointment but seriously, if youre looking for a salon look no further, because this one is IT! If i could give them 10 stars I truly would because no other word can describe POSHE except WOW!!!!

I found this salon on google wanting to support a local business. I called this past Monday to make…read morean appointment for a blow dry. I spoke with a very sweet girl who set it up. As an afterthought, with the current state of the covid numbers and overflowing of local hospitals, at the end of the call, I said "you guys do wear masks and require your customers to, right?" She said they did not but if it made me more comfortable, she would wear one for me while doing my hair. I thanked her and that was sufficient for me. I was glad to be able to support during this hard time for many hairstylists and realize that misinformation has a strong hold in this area. Today, two days later, I got a phone call from a man, I'm assuming the manager. He said "you wanted masks worn during your appointment, right? I'm calling to let you know we won't be doing that, not wearing them, and if you knew what was good for you, you'd know a mild case is the best thing for you and the community." Totally baffled and caught off guard by his abrasiveness I said "But that's not true, I'm a healthcare worker who worked covid in NYC.." he cut me off and said "well you should know virus-ology then!" ....... in my 7 years in healthcare I've never heard of virus-ology... VIROLOGY maybe ;) but I digress. The conversation did not end well or nicely. I am still flabbergasted by how confidently and unapologetically he spewed such nonsense. In this area, it's so backwards that maybe this review will even earn them some business but I'm baffled that for the sake of one of their customers they couldn't wear the mask, if requiring them for the safety and health of his employees is not enough. I asked him to please be careful and he hung up in a huff. I write this so you all know, if you're trying to stay safe during this pandemic, don't waste your time calling for an appointment here, and don't expect common courtesy or decency either. Very disappointed in the world today and this is a pretty good, succinct picture of why. At the end of the day I mostly feel sorry for the poor sweet girl who was going to do my hair who sounded fine with wearing the mask, and who I'm sure is not in a position to turn away business this year, because who is? Before hanging up, he sneered at me that no one in their salon has gotten sick yet. As someone who has personally seen the darkest and most devastating side of this epidemic in the epicenter, I thank God for that. For the sake of these stylists and their families, I pray they all somehow continue to defy the odds despite flagrant disregard for science and reason.

I'm a first time customer and only went based off of reviews…read more I went for a simple trim and while washing my hair, I was bombarded with talk about God, abortion, and how young people want to take money away from the rich from my hair stylist. It made me extremely uncomfortable to be thrown such heavy topics when I just wanted a haircut. Even if I agreed with everything that was being said or not, it doesn't matter. It was extremely unprofessional and the business did not cooperate under CDC guidelines. Not one customer or employee was wearing a mask, which Louisiana is under a state mandate for all businesses. Which I was told another negative comment concerning the health crisis that is affecting millions of people around the world. He also boasted about not welcoming back people who disagree with his views. His knowledge and tips about haircare were overshadowed by the stressful atmosphere he created, which is a shame. If you're not a white, cis, straight, christian man or woman- I would not recommend going :-)
