I booked my mom a same day appointment to get her hair permed. I called around 1:30p and they said…read morewe could come at 5. They called us back to say that since the salon closed at 8 she would not be able to sit underneath a dryer only diffused. We said that was fine as long as her hair wasn't soaking wet and she had curls. The perm was done, I left a 20% tip on my card and we left. She had curls when we left. The next morning she had loose waves so, we used mousse and a diffuser. By day 5, there were no curls at all. The stylist was pleasurable but with what my mom's hair looks like now it's obvious she did not do her perm correctly. So we've wasted $180 on a hairstyle that is no more. I feel like this salon should've had us come in the next day instead of booking same day and basically having a rush job done to ensure they closed on time. We would have been perfectly fine with that.

After a visit to the salon, I know that I'll have a great cut for two days until I wash it and then it's just BLAH. I went in to see Lindsey a few days ago. I had a couple pictures, and we worked from those into the incredible cut she gave me. I asked her a ton of questions about the products she used along the way and she was happy to answer them. She took her time. She was careful. And best of all, I absolutely LOVE my cut. The salon is cute. It's a lot larger inside than what I was expecting. The other ladies working there were all very nice. Everyone seemed happy and casual and friendly and I loved the vibe. I usually hate salons because I'm so clueless when it comes to beauty stuff and I feel like I don't belong there. I feel like everyone is wondering why I think I'm good enough for a salon that isn't Super Cuts or something like that. I didn't feel this way at all here. If you're looking for a new stylist, or even if you already have one but don't feel blown away, you must go see Lindsey!

Shortly after my previous review I call to make an appointment stating I just needed some tweaking to the haircut (I have difficult hair and you never know how it's going to respond). This was within a couple days of the original haircut. Due to scheduling I was unable to get in for 2 weeks. This put about 3 weeks between haircuts. Now I'm sure there are people that get haircuts every 3 weeks, but I'm certainly not one of them. I made it clear that the haircut needed work. I guess because I didn't get in for 3 weeks I got charged for a full new haircut. That was frustrating. The irony came when at the end as I was leaving she told me if I had any issues in the next few days give a call and they'd get me in to take care of it.... Really? I thought that's what I was doing. Not for yet another 50+ dollars, thanks I'll wait. Overall. Stylists do a good job. But not really the best 'customer service'
