That only problem I've come across is each hairstylist varied in experience and some were good Hairstylist and some were average and then if you lucked up, you found one that was better than average and you had a great haircut. Absolutely ridiculous. We showed up 5 minutes before closing and I understand people want to go home but a haircut literally takes 5 minutes and the open sign was lit up. There was no one in the store and they pretty much just told us no I'm sorry we can't do it or rather I can give you a 5 minute haircut but I don't think it'll look good. would choose zero if I could. took my son for a cut and upon being called the person whose name is Courtney already had an attitude and told him he he "could stay on his phone if anted to instead" I ignored the snarky remark and now regret it. I then told her he had gel in his hair and it would need to be washed. she ignored me. I asked again. she turns her head and rolls her eyes. then proceeds to wash his hair very roughly. I tell her he wants a skin fade and to keep the top long just trim with scissors. she starts with the clippers on the top anyways and cuts it so short it won't lay down. at this point I just want to be done, accept our fate and pay and let it grow out. but she aggressively fades the back of his head and it's extremely red. she asks why he decided all of a sudden to try this cut. I said he's been getting this cut for years. the top is usually left longer as I told you to cut it with scissors. she then says I explained the cut wrong. I said okay I'm not sure how I explained it wrong but I'm not a barber. at this point it's becoming harder to let her continue. but he leaves for church camp tomorrow and I cannot leave with his hair half finished. she again turns her and rolls her eyes. this is also the second time her coworkers have had to tell to to take deep breaths and count to three. Is this a toddler? I go ahead and let her finish. my son is clearly upset and uncomfortable. i pay and tip her because I'm till trying to be a good example for my son. we get outside and he says mom I just wanted to get up, she was hurting my neck and she kept making faces and rolling her eyes at you. I walk back inside to ask her name and let her know how uncomfortable she made him. her response was "he should've gotten up". I have been bringing my kids to get cuts here for about 10 years and this will be the very last time. I cannot believe you let this unhinged woman work with the public and children. They're sometimes very busy and I may have to wait 30mins or so but when I do get a hairdresser she is always courteous and I'm well satisfied with my cut. My favorite hairdresser is Rachel. I usually call ahead to see if she's there. I tip them $10. Even with the tip my cut is affordable knowing I have paid $30,$40 and more at other salons. I have been a Wondercuts customer for as long as it's been open and until today have been happily satisfied with their customer service. Today will be the last time I bring myself or my family to the Shreveport location. I brought my mom in today and was told it would be an hour wait. There are 2 stylists working, both with customers and only one person waiting before her. Every person who walked in after her was told the wait was at least an hour wait. After the client having their hair cut leaves the stylist goes directly to the back for apparently a 15 minute break before coming back to call my mom for her turn. Now there are only 2 customers one being my mom and a man brings in his son and he's told it will be an hour wait! This is the worst service and clearly these ladies are done for the day and just want to go home! read more

Brought my 15 year old daughter here today to get her dead ends trimmed up. Seems simple, only cutting an inch or so and keeping it even. The lady who did her hair didn't speak a single word to us and had her hair cut in less than 5 minutes. Her hair was super uneven and chopped up. There were many random long pieces that got missed. went it for a haircut as I have been doing here for years, I got seated by someone I can't remember her name, I remember her telling me she works as a paralegal on the side. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she kept saying something along the lines of "you know it's not going to be this, it's not going to be that". I have no idea what that means but I should have guessed it meant she was about to mess my hair up! I asked for a specific skin fade with enough hair left on top to spike, instead she gave me a TERRIBLE buzz cut! My hair looks atrocious and 3 days later it's even worse! It doesnt even look like I got a hair cut by a professional, it looks as if I did this myself! Avoid this place, it isn't what it once was! This is the third time this woman has messed up my hair. I tipped as I always do because I know what it's like to be in the service industry, but I feel like I paid 25 dollars to get a 15 second buzz cut. She scalped me ! The wait time was an hour during my experience with five people ahead. While waiting, I observed each stylist has their on cutting technique for different hair types. Everyone who left seemed very satisfied with the haircut. Krystal, who cut my hair, has a very bizarre cutting style. However, she has given me the best cut I've ever received from ANY stylist. Usually very pleased with them. Today (Sunday) husband and I walked in at 4:50 and the girl at counter said "only one of you can get haircut because we close in 5 mins." So I allowed husband to go instead of me. There were 3 stylists JUST STANDING AROUND fiddling with their empty stations and they could only take one of us? Really? I am tired of this sort of treatment from these places that cut off before actual closing time. Had they simply cut our hair they would've been making two customers super happy and gotten a huge tip! She seemed organized and knew exactly what I described without even a picture , I had about a half pound of hair and she handled it like it was nothing. We have been using Wonder Cuts for many years. In the past year their complete staff has changed, and not in a good way. From what I can see, they now have only one member of the original staff employed there since we started using them. This staff is most unprofessional doing things like socializing with the staff more than the customers, one employee was so high on something there is no way I would allow her to cut my daughters hair, the manager allows her boyfriend to bring his clothes into the shop and wash them in their washer, works on his car in the parking lot with her going in and out to speak with him. I paid for our hair cuts with a check and it took three months for it to clear my bank. That appears to be a red flag to me. Apparently, the owner doesn't review his business on a regular basis because sales have to be down, just look at the number of people waiting when you walk in, nothing like what it used to be. He had a great thing and has destroyed it. read more
