COMMUNICATION: I live out of state and thought it might be difficult to work remotely with a caterer, but Nicki made the whole experience easy and fun. I really felt like she took the time to make sure I was happy with everything and was always available to chat on the phone or quick to respond to my emails. GRAZING BOARDS + APPETIZERS: I was drawn to Twisted Radish by the photos on their website of their elaborate grazing boards (because appetizers are always one of my favorite parts of a wedding..), and it was so fun creating a delicious spread with Nicki's help. The end result was even better than I expected, she went out of her way to make sure everything was displayed beautifully and it all tasted amazing. DINNER: We did a plated dinner with three different main course options - Wedding Day Salmon, Herbed Tri Tip and Apple Cider Chicken. Each plate came with heirloom carrots with rosemary and orange, garlic broccoli with chili flakes, roasted fingerling potatoes, poached pear salad and sourdough dinner rolls. She even surprised us with butter boards for the rolls! Every dish tasted amazing, even better than I imagined. COFFEE AND DESSERT: Nicki set up a incredible coffee station complete with almond and oat milks in vintage carafes. I have a lot of coffee snobs in the family, and they all approved of the coffee. She also make us two homemade ice cream flavors (vanilla bean and blackberry) that were fantastic. STAFF: Everyone from Twisted Radish was so kind and extremely professional. You can tell they love what they do. I would 100% recommend Twisted Radish for any future events needing delicious and beautiful food. I feel extremely lucky they were available because I feel like we got the very best of the best!

After speaking with the owner, who was very personable, he mentioned that the Brisket we had ordered was in the smoker for 16 hours!! The bark/burnt portion of it was so good. Our guests enjoyed their ribs and sides as well. We will definitely work with Twisted Radish again and would recommend them for anyone looking for a caterer in the Madison area.

A snowstorm the day before the wedding created a beautiful backdrop for photos, too, so a winter wedding was spectacular! This quaint, out of the way, farm provided a casual, yet elegant setting. We never felt rushed and the owners were quick to help when it came to moving around chairs, flower arches, and decorations. An added plus was the loft which was ideal for video and a birds' eye view of the ceremony. Location was within minutes of hotels, so guests didn't have far to venture. The fact that the ceremony AND the reception were in the same building was really neat. The turnaround from "chapel" to "dance floor" was fast, too! I would recommend anyone considering a party venue to consider this place. It will be a unique experience regardless of what type of party you have.

We have gotten so many compliments from our guests on how great the fajita bar was. Cannot recommend Pasqual's Catering highly enough - and definitely add on the fiesta dip.

We recently used Circolo Catering (Pasquals) for our wedding reception. When we first met with the…read morecaterer, we gave them our price range and they worked with us on a few options. After my wife and I chose to go with them, it was near impossible to get in touch with them to discuss payments, tastings, etc. Soon after, we found out that the woman that we were working with mysteriously fell off the face of the earth. Her assistant became our new contact and truly did the best she could. Pros: - The food was great. Cons: - We asked the bartenders not to tap into the second keg and they told us we would not be charged for it; on the bill we were somehow charged for that second keg anyways. - On the contract, it stated that the staff would be working for 4.5 hours (2 bartenders and 4 staff) for about $675. On the receipt, we were billed over $800 for almost twice the the time. They told us that their staff was there from 3PM-11PM after the fact because of set up and dishwashing. Clearly, this should have been made glaringly obvious in the contract...never mind the fact that we used plastic cups and recyclable plates so there would be no need of dishwashing. - Other than the assistant Emily who was more than helpful, the staff running this business have been completely aloof and inattentive to my wife and I. Starting with the first woman that we spoke to, all the way up the chain to the COO. At the end of the day we're not fighting back to get a refund, but it's just a shame that this happened because we love supporting local businesses. Pasquals as a restaurant? Phenomenal. The Circolo catering? Pass.
