Every time I visit family in Pompano, this place is a must-stop for me--usually more than once! I first came here a while ago and got to meet the owner, who was incredibly sweet and welcoming. The ambiance is everything you'd want in a boba shop: cozy, clean, cute, and it always smells amazing when you walk in. The staff are just as lovely as the drinks--friendly, patient, and helpful. One thing that really makes Sweet Leaf stand out is that they let you sample flavors if you're unsure what to get, which I've never seen at other boba spots. My go-to is the brown sugar boba with lychee jelly, always in their iconic bucket size. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! read more

My first time visiting Sweet Leaf was fun. I was warmly greeted by Jessie and Alexis who proceeded to explain the menu, including Boba tea. Both girls we're extremely enthusiastic, suggesting I try the Strawberry Matcha tea with brown sugar milk, which I did and it was delicious. The menu includes many different types of refreshing drinks, and for those that want to sit and enjoy, there are tables inside available. Sweet Leaf is owned by Oasis Nails by Rose and within the same shopping plaza. (Rose is an exceptional business owner!) Why not do what I did and have a manicure and pedicure, then walk over to Sweet Leaf for an awesome tasting beverage. It's a win-win for all. read more

Lovessss! Popped in here on a Sunday afternoon and was welcomed by the sweetest person I've met in a long time! The menu is super easy to understand and not overwhelming at all. I got the strawberry matcha and was blown away with how good it is with the perfect amount of sweetness! Easily the best matcha I've ever had. As I was waiting for my drink, I couldn't take my eyes off all the cute decor - it's so dreamy and adorable! Deanna (hope I spelled that correctly) was telling me how she did all the murals and she definitely nailed the assignment (please come decorate my home!) The place is absolutely spotless, too. Me and her got to chatting about the area and our cats and it seriously felt like I was kicking it with a friend. This will definitely be a recurring spot for me to grab a sweet treat and enjoy good company and conversation. We visited Sweet Leaf on our way out to town and I am so sad we did not discover it earlier. Their shop is adorable and very welcoming. The staff, especially Jess, are incredibly friendly. They welcomed us immediately, gave us a quick run down of their menu options, and offered samples if we weren't able to make a decision. I enjoyed the Taro Milk with boba and it was delicious. I am grateful that they let you customize your sweetness because my drink was perfect and full of flavor! This place is my go tea in Oakland park area. It was my favorite when it first opened but we took a break cause the drinks started tasted diluted and lacking in flavor. I think there was recently a change in ownership because the drinks are good again - at least it has flavor. And the boba is good. The ambiance is cute and dog friendly. This is one of the best boba spots in the area. I used to come here weekly, I was so addicted. Thea at time I came, there was an older woman working who did not speak English and had to call a woman who was working in the nail salon to come make the drink. It made the experience feel pretty stressful, so much so I didn't come back for a month or so. I was craving boba today and wanted to stop by and it was the same situation: an older woman working who didn't speak English, so the woman for the nail salon had to come make the drink (I believe she's the owner). I asked why they don't have staff working anymore and she mentioned it's because they aren't pulling in enough revenue which sucks because them NOT having competent staff actually makes me (a regular) not want to come anymore, since the experience is less accessible. The boba here is incredible and the shop is so cute, I wish more ppl would patron the store so they could thrive and pay competent workers. I hope they don't shut down! Stumbled upon this tea shop and gave it a try. I'm usually hesitant with tea spots bc most of the time drinks are drowned in milk and sugar but this spot was a nice surprise! I had the jasmine oat milk brûlée, which had a fresh taste and wasn't sickly sweet. A lot of bubble tea places will use powder mixes and junk to make their drinks, but not here.
