Seasonal Apple Pie Milk Tea

IT'S. TOO. SWEET. Starting off with that, heh. I also had asked for 50% sugar but the Apple powder is still overpowering and sugary. The sweet girl said she can cut the sugar but didn't suggest to cut the apple flavor because I won't "taste it as much"... but now I have a sugar headache still. What also contributed to my headache is the group of kids being super loud while the two adult chaperones stand around. I'm sure at other instances, the noise level would be average. I do like that they have merch and fun games so it can be a hang out spot. But don't come if you want a boba shop study in or catch up with friends or else a kid may be around screeching :/ Service was quick and staff were very friendly though! Their only saving grace in my books. But with the Asian vibes, I was truly expecting authentic Taiwanese boba, not the powdered sugary overload. Looking back at it, I should've told her to go less on the scoops. And the boba itself has a very strong honey taste so it overpowers my drink. Kind of firm too. I really wanted to like this place because it has part of my name but first impression wasn't so great. But if you like super sweet boba with a cute corner for Instagram pics, then it may be for you! Super trendy spot!

Tucked into a plaza near Bonefish Grill and a Boutique, Kimochi offers are great assortment of teas and sweet treats. There are so many variations you can try, and all are tasty. Unsure what to order? Ask for assistance and they will lead you in the right direction. Teas and Boba not your thing? Try some mochi or ice cream in a bubble cone. The staff is friendly, but often seem short staffed and therefore sometimes there is a bit of a wait. They have a cute seating area and now even have merchandise. Check their daily specials and score a discount on certain themed days!

Was craving Boba and found this place. Super clean, simple, and chic. They have a cute little store that was a great addition, plus a couple of games to sit with your drink and enjoy a fun time. They serve a few classic breads like taro, bean, and ham that were delicious. I ordered a milk earl Grey boba tea and it was OK. Nothing really special in flavor... bland which was a bit sad, but I'd be willing to try a different flavor next time.

The place is a little eccletctic, mostly minimalist, but then those cozy corners that I posted in the photos make it a very nice spot to meet with a friend. The girl working at that time was nice and pleasing. The place was very clean. The food. Hmm. Some very good, some in the middle. The onion bun was heavenly, I would go back just for it I for nothing else. I had a chocolate hazelnut mocci, but won't recommend it. Basically flavorless and overpriced.($2.50 for a mini mocci. My friend had a tea. She had a tea but said it was tasteless too. Bummer.

Went into this boba shop for the first time yesterday, 45 minutes before the closing time. There was only one person working. First thing I noticed, some of the tables were not cleaned, and the couch had multiple stains. The menu looked extensive, we ordered brown sugar milk tea and the winter special, white chocolate milk tea. The person working yesterday was nice, when we asked her if we can change to large from regular after we placed an order, she graciously did it. I asked for no ice, and there was ice in mine, which isn't a big deal. Issue was that I received the white chocolate mocha milk tea and when we said that the menu didn't say anything about mocha, she looked surprised and said that it usually has mocha but she can make it just with the white chocolate. No where in the menu it said it's white chocolate mocha milk tea. The drinks were good though. Boba was little less soft. Not sure if I will be going back because it looked like the staff wasn't sure what ingredients to put in.

Been eying up Kimochi to open for a few weeks now. When I saw they were officially open, I made sure to stop by opening week! The store has such a clean and minimalist feel inside. I didn't this time, but could easily see myself bringing my laptop in and working one day. It's a very calm vibe. The staff was all very kind and welcoming. I tried the brown sugar milk tea with traditional boba. I am a fan of sweet, but it was almost too sweet for me. But it has a great flavor! Just might do something else next time! My husband got the passion tea with popping mango boba and really enjoyed it! He said he had to stop himself from drinking to fast so that he could enjoy it. Overall, great new shop in Fort Lauderdale and I'll definitely be back for a special treat.

Kimochi Bubble Tea is a great spot to grab a Passion Fruit Tea! Plus, they recently opened up! :) Long Story Short, I saw they had opened last week. However,I literally went in there to use their restroom and went out. I did ask permission of course because I did not want to disrespect them. Cindy, the kind staff member, said, "yes you can!" Yes, I felt bad for doing, but I made sure the next time I visited, I would order something. In my defense, I had to make it quick because I had to go back to work! So yesterday, I was determined to make a quick stop and grab a Passion Fruit Tea from there :) I loved how it was clean and neat inside. They had a cute area where you and friends can take cute pics and upload them to Instagram, Snapchat, or even Yelp! Hehe Once I entered inside, Alvaro, Staff #1 greeted me so nicely! I told him "Yes, this time I am making sure to order something to drink instead of using just the bathroom, haha" AND BOOM! Cindy, Staff #2 goes, "Oh yeah, I remember you from last week" LOL! Shout out to Cindy, Staff # 2 for understanding me when I had to use the bathroom and leave because of work. It was so much fun having a fun and quick conversation with Alvaro and Cindy. They really made my day yesterday! I ordered a large Passion Fruit Tea (6+tax). Cindy accidentally gave me a small, but she told me I can keep the small and make me a large one. So pretty much yesterday, those two Passion Fruit Tea was a great way to drive back to the Office --  all sugared up! Check out the Instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/kimochibobacafe/ Per their bio on the Instagram: They have locations in MA, RI, NY + FL!

Kimochi is a relatively new (from what I can tell) boba spot in Fort Lauderdale that is def worth a try. It's tucked away in a plaza on federal north of 62Nd near 7/11 & einsteins. Almost missed it. Parking is okay but I got lucky a few times and parked out front, today I had to walk a bit because there were no spots near by but that's alright, happens everywhere. Anyway back to Kimochi, it's very cute inside, I'd say on the hipster side. Nice decor, plenty of seating and a nice and clean bathroom. And it's vegan friendly, super vegan friendly. A huge pro for this vegan right here. Many boba spots aren't v vegan friendly or can't do slushes at least in my experience. Okay so to the boba, it is delicious. They don't skimp either, you get a big ole scoop of tapioca. I have tried the honeydew slush, a latte, a matcha latte w espresso & boba, strawberry slush & best for the last: the brown sugar slush. We also tried a mochi ice cream but it wasn't our cup of tea. I will say that the customer service kinda varies. Most people have been nice but a little forgetful. Take it w a grain of salt cuz I like to customize drinks and they're pretty new so I don't blame them and they fixed any mistakes I have encountered. Def don't order online, order in store. Today I ordered ahead to save time, still had to wait 10 minutes once I was there & my note was ignored. I was also informed that they don't include tapioca if you order online unless you select it (and pay extra) but it's included in store. All in all I have had several good experiences & will probably stop by a few more times before I leave Florida next month. Try it!! I really highly recommend the brown sugar slush and make sure you add a shot of espresso.

Literally sooo cute and good! It was quiet and empty when I stopped in on a Saturday. The 2 working behind the counter were so sweet I couldn't be happier. I ordered a milk tea with double espresso and omg I loved it! Only thing was too much sugar, but they allow you to change that. It was my first time so I wasn't sure! I'll definitely be back!

Ordering was easy, inside was minimal and very very clean. Great selection of teas and drinks. We had a strawberry milk tea and our favorite Thai tea. Both drinks were delicious and fairly priced! Love that a good tea shop is nearby. 10/10 will be back again.

Guess who's back again! Yes, I may be obsessed with this place. Today we got Thai slush and of course honeydew slush Kaidian was very kind! Be back this weekend.

Yeye Jiang is located on the ground floor of the Aviara East Pompano apartments, on the corner of S. Dixie Hwy & McNab. It's a newly opened boba tea shop that specializes in preparing various milk teas, fruit teas, and specialty drinks with chewy toppings. There is also smoothies and bakery items. I greeted a nice male employee who was informative about the different drinks; what were the most requested drinks, what the drinks were made with, and the description of the drinks' unique flavor. After overlooking the menu, I decided to try a medium lychee fruit tea with lychee jelly (extra charge). It was a very tasty drink; Jasmine green tea infused with lychee - lightly sweet and refreshing. I was also informed that the bakery items are half off within a few hours before they close. I look forward to another visit. I would like to thank Yelper, Henry V L. for letting me know where to park when visiting the business.

They were patient, helpful, and ready to answer questions for anyone not super familiar with boba or non-traditional flavors, which I really appreciated. I also tried the butter waffle, and it instantly reminded me of a Cuban Pan de Gloria -- warm, buttery, lightly crisp, and nostalgic. They offered to add Nutella, but honestly, it was delicious all on its own. I'll definitely be back to try the chicken and other menu offerings. Hidden gem for the win!
