These greenhouses are on the National Historic Building registry. Trickers has been in business for well over a century. The selection of pond plants and fish can only leave a person wanting a bigger water garden to fit it all in. The locals do fill the place on the weekends and a long wait is guaranteed but it is well worth it. Trickers staff is very knowledgable and will help you choose the right supplies to fit your needs. They have everything. And it's local.

The lilies I got this year were tiny without even one flower bud. In past years I would get plants with long stems and large lilies pads and would have flowers the same day or at least the same week I placed them in my pond. After two weeks I still have small plants without flowers. I wrote to complain and was told that because of cold weather this spring some of their varieties did not do very well. I purchased American Beauty and Helen Tricker varieties. I asked why they didn't contact me and give me the option to take different varieties? Their response was they may consider that next year. The plants I received were not worth the premium prices they charge.

I was referred here by a friend and he did not exaggerate. Aubrey was most helpful in guiding me through the wild bird food according to my daily visitors and even selecting a squirrel feeder to distract them from the bird and chipmunk feeders. Yes, indeed all great and small if they come to my home are well fed and given fresh water. I found that buying bird food in bulk was less expensive than online although when I catch peanuts on sale at Giant eagle, it is actually a better bargain there than here. It is a small space so a line forms quickly, but they take care of their customers with very little wait. Parking is also limited, but no worries, most everyone who walked in the door already knew what they wanted so parking turns over at the blink of an eye. If you love your feathered and furry friends, stop in here for all of your needs.
