He hand made the yogurt for the fruit parfaits. The Chopped Cheese Sliders were classic New York but he made is own sauce that was delicious. Same with the Chicken and Veggie wraps. I will absolutely hire him again for any other occasions that come up, it wasn't just the food, it was the service, the professionalism and his prices were very reasonable. Did I mention the yogurt???? !!!!!

If you are a fan of the delicious Italian menu at Mama Ricotta's and are charged with planning or hosting a large or small party in the near future, you might want to check them out. I have not hired them myself (yet...) but I look forward to taking advantage of this great (local) restaurant very, very soon.

AMAZING!!! We…read morecannot say enough GRATE things about this company. We did our wedding in Cleveland, NC and were beyond happy with the service Grate povided. We had the pleasure of working with Sarah and she was beyond what we could have expected. She shows a true passion for the customer service she provides. Whether it be quickly replying to our countless questions or going into in depth detail about all of the food options we were selecting. She was a ginormous part of why we ended up choosing this caterer. Another awesome thing about this company is that they are reasonably priced, and are willing to work with you on the price. For our budget, we were picking options on the cheaper end and they weren't pushy about the more expensive options at all. If anything, they were looking for ways to help us do things a little cheaper which we really appreciated. As for the food, we heard only awesome reviews from our guests! The late night grilled cheese bar was the best decision we could have made, extremely affordable and absolutely delicious! All in all, would highly recommend there services for any event!

I would recommend Grate Catering to ALL brides! Thank you so much for making my wedding day amazing Grate Catering Team! I truly appreciate all the hard work and dedication to quality in your food and presentation!

I called Kendra on a Friday to cater a business luncheon for five on the following Monday. I gave…read moreher very little direction - that there were two vegetarians in the group, and that was it. She prepared a BEAUTIFUL meal of lemon pepper chicken (for the meat eaters) and veggie pasta salad for the vegetarians. The meal came in four courses: salad (she brought three dressings), entrée, dessert (cookies individually wrapped for each person), and fruit after our meal. She arrived 45 minutes before I did (I was flying in from Baltimore) to set up, and the table scape was beautiful. She brought her own linens, real ceramic dishes, glass glasses, etc. And on top of that, she served us throughout the meal. Basically, Kendra brought the four star dining experience of a restaurant to us (and on very short notice, I reiterate). She is capable of doing both small parties and larger functions such as weddings (up to 500 people). If you need catering in the Charlotte area, I highly highly highly recommend Kendra. You cannot go wrong.

My daughter (the future bride) planned her wedding reception with Chef Kendra of Kraving Catering. She often raved about Chef Kendra's help throughout the process: "She is wonderful to work with! Chef Kendra is such a big help! She gets right back to me! She has wonderful ideas!" I met Chef Kendra prior to the actual wedding. She and her crew were personable, prompt and professional. My daughter was thrilled with the delicious desserts, as were our guests. When Chef Kendra found out how our wedding cake baker bowed out at the last minute, she baked the bride and groom a special gluten-free wedding cake for them! (as a wedding gift to them) It was a wonderful relief to know we didn't have to think about tablecloths and table decorations; Kraving Catering provided them and they were lovely. They were a joy to work with; we highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

I've been hearing about Chef Henry for many years, but recently I was fortunate to attend an event…read morethat he catered. The menu was grilled chicken with a sun dried tomato sauce, rice, green beans(fresh, not canned), mashed potatoes(fresh, not flakes), salad, rolls, and some type of punch that had me mildly harassing the server on the ingredients to no avail.....that punch was lethal and I can't even begin to figure out the recipe but he did tell me it was a bunch of stuff mixed together.....they definitely need to market that stuff. The food was simply incredible, perfectly seasoned chicken with a creamy sauce that disappeared pretty quickly. I've had many catered events but never had any of them serve fresh green beans, it's almost always canned(little things impress me:-). Moist rice pilaf with onions and other seasonings and my goodness the mashed potatoes were heavenly! Everything was just amazingly good and I tried my best to at least get one recipe but he just wouldn't budge......even tried to get him to open a restaurant......harrassed the heck out of him:-) I guess I'll have to plan an event so that Chef Henry can deliver up more of that delicious food.....the punch alone is worth it.

Nibbles is KILLING ME in the best way possible. We all have to die at some point, right? So it…read moremight as well be by over stuffing yourself with the deliciousness that is Nibbles' baked goods. I just cannot get enough of it. I've been stopping by Robin's booth in Atherton Mill and Market for the past couple of weeks since I've moved to Charlotte, and she has single-handedly made the move worth it. Her quiches, pumpkin bread, cookies, granola, etc... are the best way to start your Saturdays. The only downside is that everything looks and tastes so good that it's impossible to choose. But I'll help you out: THE QUICHE. I just need to take a moment to delve into how amazing her food is. The quiche has this amazing texture that I can't even describe. But I will. It's both light and fluffy, but also creamy in a sense. Maybe it's sorcery? I don't know. The cheddar and broccoli will make you feel so good. The tomato and spinach has a fantastic bite to it; the tomatoes burst with flavor. Her sweet breads are ridiculously moist and flavorful. This morning I tried the pumpkin bread and literally couldn't leave the parking lot because it's amazing-ness incapacitated me. If you don't see any reviews after this, it's because I actually never left. Her prices are very reasonable for delicious, home-baked goods. The quiches are 6 inch pies (I think. I've never been good with estimating stuff) and $5. Personally, it's more than enough for me for breakfast. Everything else is just a few dollars or so. Unfortunately, I'm not fancy enough to be able to afford her Personal Chef services, but if they're anything like her bakery items, I can promise you they're worth it! And if I do ever become fancy enough to hire her, I'll invite all of you to my quiche party. OMGGGG THE QUICHEEEEEE! If you end up going and falling in love with them, I charge a 1 quiche discovery fee. Pay up.
