I am an amateur runner just starting out but they also seem to cater for all runners including the much more advanced than me! This didnt stop them advising me on what shoes were appropriate for me without making me feel like I wasnt important to them, as some athletic shops do if you are not part of the elite. They also have a rather impresive running machine that they can film you to chech your running style. I hear they moved from a smaller unit down the same street, I guess great service and good products does pay off!!

Like other discount stores, you can walk in not knowing what brands to expect. Because of the variety and size differences between brands, the racks are always a mess. I bought a pair of football boots for my son. After using them just one time we found that a stud…read morewas missing - fallen out in the grass. Now the boots are very uncomfortable to wear. I then took them to the store for a return. They refused on the basis that I should have screwed them tight before wearing them, being utterly oblivious to the fact that the boots were not fit for purpose when we bought them. If I was supposed to screw them tight before wearing them, why did the shop assistant not ask me to do this? Better still, why didn't they do it as they checked the boots' size before we bought them. It would have taken no more than 30 seconds. And best of all why doesn't the factory (Adidas) make them so they are actually screwed in properly. I will never walk into to this dreadful shop ever again.

This gem has all three, I rented 2 gravel bikes for the day and the bikes performance was fantastic, the jerseys are spectacular, and they had no problem cleaning the mud caked bikes after we begged to do the cleaning for them.

At the end of the ski season, my sister and I hit Blacks, looking for ski gear. We're not slaves to the latest styles and are quite happy to be a season out of date fashion-wise. Otherwise, I find it so hard to pay such a huge amount of money for things like a ski jacket, which I'll only wear for one week or at most 2 weeks a year. There is also lots of stuff for walking, hikers, climbers and campers.

Love this place for stocking up on Nike-branded sports wear in London. It seems that a larger part…read moreof its item range is discounted but unlike Nike Factory stores this shop seems to have more facilities. Anyway you will always find some bargains here. I pop in every few months whenever I'm in London and tend to get a genuine branded t-shirt for £12 which would surely cost me twice as much elsewhere. Friendly staff as well, what's not to like?
