There are very few remaining Swatch stores in Southern California. I believe there is just the one other in San Diego. I had come here looking for the Mission on Earth series. Thought I had made up my mind by looking on their web site. But the one I had in mind definitely didn't have the same look as it had on the web site. I prepared accordingly ahead of time. When I got to the store Jada helped me, by going through the MoonSwatch series. We went through about four different watches with different strap options. Jada was very helpful and patient with helping me choose. She gave me her thoughts and ideas and we finally settled on the Mission to Earthphase watch. Wow. Ivan the manager made this a horrible visit. Waited in line was number 35/36. Every time I tried to speak up about line cutting he said I'll come talk to you. Then left for day. In the morning I tried again to tell him. I was ignored. They let people in and I ended up 55/56 because nobody would listen. People letting families in line and friends. We had video and name list. But didn't care. Got stuck with red/pink and a mint green. Just wanted a rainbow and az ice tea one. I do have to say the one person I trust is a young woman and her name starts with an M. But she's not in charge. She probably should be!!! read more

Today was the day my son got two watches. Unheard of lol we came here right after Longines and he found a watch that he loved. The sales lady was so nice, friendly patient and not pushy. My son gets nervous when someone pushes him to make a decision. After looking and trying on a few watches he purchases a nice watch that he will wear daily. So much to look at and he'd to choose. my first & second experiences in this new store was amazing . not so much after they had some big watch release that had lines backed up around the store . I had gone back after i purchased a watch as a replacement for one i brought in for battery but then I could not find it . I went back the day after that launch . they didn't have a separate line for regular battery and watch check out you had to wait i line with watch geeks all drooling over some dumb watch . So i left came back the next day . guess what ? they had a sign on the door closed out of xx watch . Ok but that doesn't mean you won't have other customers wtf? third trip back to get a battery and return the watch , in between the second and third dates i landed in the hospital for 6 days . i present at the counter they girl wrinkles her nose and said it's past its return date of 14 days . So i showed her my beaten up arms from all the IV's i had still no grace . wasn't in the mood to argue i said fine , I'll give it to a friend formChristmas . it has a silver dial with silver numbers and i can't read it . never took it out of the box to wear it . She was having a bad day complaining that she was getting another return of a very expensive watch and her commissions were dwindling i took from that comment . She was initially nice when i bought it guess that watch release maxed out your employees to the point they couldn't open the next day and was pissed at the amount of buyers remorse on the fancy release . Who has a two week return policy that's ridiculous and i'd expect a co that has been around since i was in HS eons ago would have a better system for their launches and tell people upfront on an expensive watch the return policy who are having buyers remorse . why make the people who just needed the warrantied battery to step aside and take it in the a$$ with their lousy return policy. This is the only "local" Swatch store and it was 70 miles away, so I wanted to be sure before I decided to make the drive. When I arrived at the store he as very helpful in terms of explaining the watches and let me try them on along with the strap sizing and color options. I went to that drop a couple months back when they had it with the stopwatch fortunately, I was one of the lucky 10 they got their watch after 10 they just shut down. It appears the stars have aligned. ****This Review revolves solely around the MoonSwatch Omega x Swatch Collection**** Yes, the same year yours truly was born on the 3rd rock from the Sun aka Earth... A little company named Swatch was also born. For me, It all started in 1983 when my mission on Earth first began and now, 40 years later, my new mission is to collect all Eleven of the Swatch X Omega MoonSwatch timepieces. I first heard about the MoonSwatch campaign when they had a pop up shop at the Westfield Topanga Mall about a year ago. Hundreds of people lined up to get a watch that I simply knew nothing about. My initial thought: they were all Crazy!!! Fast forward to August 2023, when another MoonSwatch pop up happened at the same location within the Westfield Topanga Mall... This time, I was the crazy one as I too joined the madness and stood in line to get my first MoonSwatch. My 1st Mission: Mission on Earth. Initially, it was a rocky landing (a sorta "Houston we've got a Problem moment") but now, after the dust has settled, all is ok and I'm ready to continue my mission. At first, I was a little unsure. To be honest, I had a little buyers remorse after I purchased my 1st MoonSwatch, but after a few times wearing it, I'm actually kinda obsessed. Skyrocket forward to December 2023!!! Lo and behold, a permanent Swatch store opens at the Westfield Topanga Mall and my mission to get my second MoonSwatch was about to Launch. 2nd Mission: Mission to the Moon On December 27th, I purchased my second MoonSwatch; I just haven't informed Ground Control (aka my wife) yet, so let's keep this Top Secret for now. My next Mission (Launching next Payday): Mercury or Neptune. From There... Saturn, Pluto, Jupiter, Mars, the Sun... Venus for my Wife (I mean it's pink people!) And last but not least... Uranus! (Which is a beautiful "Tiffany Blue" color) and will most likely be for my wife as well. This collaboration, in my humble opinion is brilliant, some may even say it's "out of this world"... And they'd be right!! I mean c'mon people... 2 famous watch brands coming together to make such a cool statement piece all while having an "Omega" watch face for less than 300 bucks on your wrist is pure insanity. Came for the snoopy release and line system is horrible. Allowed people to cut and allowed a random person to create there own numbering system which through everyone off. They can't advise as to how much inventory they have but use words as slim or probably at your chances. Why not avoid waisting time for people who drove out and be up front to avoid having them become upset so they can go about there day. I understand it was an exclusive watch but advise from the get go how many there are to avoid waisting other peoples time after being in a long line within a muggy and humid parking garage. read more

Swatch finally opened a new store in the greater Los Angeles area. And, here it is. This is a great place to get your Swatch watches. They have a really large collection of their watches. Even, some of the ones that are really hard to come by. I found out about this store opening in an email from Swatch. When I walked into the shop, I certainly didn't expect to find that they had this Omega/Swatch watch that I've been looking for for quite a while. A watch, that was really hard to come by. I asked about it, and boom, they had it. I, of course, bought it. Thank you! The staff here are all really nice and knowledgeable. It's an easy place to shop. Located in Topanga Plaza, it's on the upper floor, central to the mall. So, you should have no trouble finding it, and no trouble parking, or anything like that. Again, great shop. Please be aware: This retail location does not accept returns for online purchases. In October, I purchased an item from Swatch.com but decided to return it. Since I live two hours away from the store, I called ahead to confirm if online purchases could be returned at the retail location. The lady on the phone assured me that I could return the item and receive a refund the same day. Based on this information, we drove two hours to the store, only to be told by the same staff that they do not accept returns for online purchases. To make matters worse, this employee spoke to us with a condescending attitude and repeatedly told us to call the customer service hotline to resolve the issue. And when we asked for the customer service number, she refused to provide it and told us to look it up online. This is unacceptable customer service. Why provide misleading information over the phone, only to waste customers' time and treat them disrespectfully in person? read more

Customer service was truly disappointing. I called the store to inquire about the Green Abyss. I was told it would be released on June 6th and advised to arrive early, as there is usually a line. I took the morning off work, drove 1.5 hours to the store, and arrived 45 minutes before opening. There was no line, and when the store opened, the sales associate was surprised by the lack of demand. Much to her chagrin, she had given me the wrong release date--it was actually June 7th. I was heartbroken, as the watch was intended as a graduation gift. I explained that I wouldn't be able to return the next day. She told me I should speak with her manager about my options. Unfortunately, the manager, Memori, was not only apathetic but also blamed me for the mistake, stating that I should have double-checked the release date online. To Whom it may concern, This is an attempt to contact corporate higher ups of a very sad day for a huge fan/collector of your products. Let me start by saying I am the last person to spend time or energy at my age (41) on things of this nature unless it is absolutely necessary. Also, being a big Omega watch connoisseur I fell out of my dreams when this collaboration came to my attention. I myself is in the hospitality business with many employees under me and would never accept the type of behavior I was shown today by employee name Diana at your Canoga Park store in the Topanga Canyon mall store. So just to shed light, yesterday (07/06/24) at around 5:13 pm (receipt attached) I came in trying to buy both colorways of the Snoopy Moonphase watch excitedly because they are the last 2 I need to complete my 16 version collection. Before I arrived I called to make sure it would be worth the 1.5 hour drive from Los Angeles due to it being the only location in Southern California we can buy these products in. Upon arriving I noticed two employees working, Kye and Diana. I politely asked Diana if i can buy the two watches and she told me it is store policy to only buy one each day of any colors and variation. Since my experience at the New York stores and Las Vegas (where I bought most of my watches)(receipts attached) where I was able to buy one of each color per day I simply asked if they could make an exception as she said no she cannot.. Respecting that, she proceeded to ask if she knew who helped me at those stores, I laughed and said I would not "out" someone like that and simply said relax. Apparently she seemed to take offense to that and replied with hostility about it , "you already did" and scuffed. After that, she continually threw me an attitude while ringing me up. Like no exaggeration, I felt like I was being belittled and discriminated against. As I left, not wanting to be around her at that point, she said , verbatim, "god bless you" sarcastically and I replied, "there is no god" and walked off. I don't think anyone should mention god to customers and not have the vile and malicious attitude she had during a transaction. I feel at this point she was totally inappropriate but just did not want to deal with it in hopes another employee will be here today (07/07/24) to buy the black version of the moonphase watch. Okay, so today I came in around 2:18 pm (receipt attached) and of course she was there with the same co-worker. Mind you I always call 10 minutes before arriving to make sure the watch I want is in stock, doing so I walk up to Diana (Kye was handling a return) .Diana then smirks at me like the immature person she is and says sorry we are actually sold out ( I knew she was lying). I then read the situation and thought to myself to interrupt Kye ( I think he's the manager) and asked him If they had it which to my surprise said they did. The point of this email is to let you guys know how let down a huge fan of your watches is. Diana displayed poor character in letting her feelings get involved and lying to the customer about the availability of a watch which I drove 1.5 hours to buy back to back days.I want this to be maybe a teaching moment for that young girl. Alsom the policies seem very inconsistent with each store which baffles me. I would be very interested to see how long she has been working there and her progress. A follow up would be great after reading this, and unfortunately until I receive one a review will be going up at all internet sites based on my experiences, I really cannot condone how I was treated, it ruined my day and my desire to keep supporting this company possibly. I purchased a watch, but the quality was disappointing. The watch was never worn and it's been less than a week since purchase. When I tried to return it, they refused and said exchange only because the watch was "dirty." When I asked where exactly it was dirty, they said they had already "cleaned" it -- but I never saw them do that. I really don't like being lied to. Where is your return policy? Went for the second snoopy release this time, the moonshine gold. Still just as poorly executed. A few cut in incidents, but rather than security taking care of it, people in line had to take care of it themselves. And there's only so much civilians can do. The guy cutting in line said he did it because he saw someone else do it lol. Staff member comes out to count and cuts off at a dude with a blue hat. Turns to the rest of us and says he's not sure if the rest of us will be able to get the watch, but there is and isn't a chance. Dude with hat asks the guy twice to be sure, that the cut off is at him. Staff dude says yes yes, you are the cut off. Here's the kicker, later when we go to the front they run out and guess who didn't get the watch. Dude with hat AND the 2 people in front of him. This is so disappointing and a waste of time. They could have handled that better but they outright played 3 people. I can't imagine how frustrated those 3 were, cause he gave them a false sense of security. Also, the 3 units off is suspicious. A few couples went in and only bought 1 unit. There's rumors that the staff are backdooring, maybe needs to be investigated. Scalpers were outright walking around trying to sell their spot in line and after getting a watch, even walking down the line shouting to resell it. read more

I walked into this location today to look at the Omega/Swatch Moonswatch collection. I was wanting to buy one of the various versions of the watch. I noticed they have them in a glassed-in display. An employee walked up and asked if I had any questions. I said "do you have any of the Moonswatches out that I can actually hold?" He replied with "No, just the ones in the case," and then he proceeded to just walk away. Like DUDE, I'm here to look at and buy one of these!!! How are you in sales??? Went to a limited edition launch for one of Swatch's watches today. Even though the quantity was super low, they never communicated that to the 300 people waiting. They allowed others who showed up at 10am to cut people who had been there since 5am in line. The black guy that worked on March 22 2025 Saturday was so rude. I was at he store at around 8:10 PM, no one was visible at the floor to assist customers. As soon as he came out from the back the first thing he said was " Just so you know we are closing soon due to construction " he said it on a rude way. By the way the mall closes at 9pm that day. He made me feel unwelcome. I was going to buy a watch that I really like but since he made me feel that my service was not important , I just left.
