And please let me start with, I have a 5,000 square foot shop where we restore classic cars, and I've been doing this for about 50 years, so I know what I'm talking about and what to expect. So here goes... I ordered an engine wiring harness, ECU programming and a new TCU. Simple enough. But after weeks and weeks of delays I finally got an email saying my order was ready for shipment. As you have likely surmised by now, they lied. Several WEEKS LATER (after already waiting months), I opened the box, it was a wiring harness that wasn't complete (not labeled as they had said nor correctly set up), and there was NO TCU/TCM. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called over and over, sent numerous emails and finally after many tries got in touch with the owner, Andy, who gave me his direct number and admitted the problem and said he would send the TCU out the next day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I thought he was telling the truth. Well it never happened! I called and emailed repeatedly again and he must have blocked my number because he never again answered the phone, never answered an email and never sent my purchased items, not to mention he never supported the install of the un-labeled, incorrect wiring harness or the did the setup of my ECU. SWAP GARBAGE I don't know how this piece of shit is still in business. He is a con artist. He will answer and accept new orders and tell u that it will be about 8-12 weeks to get your order started. Months go by and he then will answer the phone and give you some made up story about some funeral or unfortunate experience he had so that your order gets delayed. I think he buys time so that the credit card company will try to refuse you a refund because you took too long to cancel or claim fraud. Ordered a engine harness and trans controller and harness. After months and months of waiting. I got the engine harness no trans controller or harness. The engine harness was incomplete. He also kept my PCM. After trying to contact him by phone ,email numerous times. No response. I contacted the local PD and told me they have gotten complaints about him but cannot do anything. Ended up buying my trans controller and harness form Sound German. He told me he had to contact him and tell him to stop saying he carries his product. I had to open the new harness and add wiring and change pinouts. I had to buy another PCM an buy the trans controller and harness directly from Sound German. If you are going to order a harness I recommend Hot Wire They went over and above to help figure out what I needed to do to finally get my vehicle running. I started my jeep swap project over 1 year ago. I received my wiring harness last August from them. I then sent my throttle body control to them in September. I am still waiting a full year later for my controller. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Endless phone calls, endless messages left. Harness looks great. I installed it, injector 5 wasn't working. At the pcm it was in slot 74 instead of 47. I have 2 current issues but I can't blame them unless I find the issue is with the harness. The injector issue pushed my project back 2 weeks alone. Contacting them by phone? Don't bother. Email? They answer anywhere from within 1hour to SEVERAL days. I bummed i ignored the reviews. I spent $1126 for my extended harness and have been tracking issues with it for 2 weeks. I've spent a couple hundred in replacing engine parts because intrusted this harness. Ordered a wiring harness and components to do a swap in Jan,2020. No parts by March,2020. Canceled order and asked for refund. No response. Filed with credit card company and when credit card company contacted Swap Specialties they sent a partially completed wiring harness but no other parts and gave the shipping label to the credit card company. Since the credit card company has a shipping label, they are no help. Based on these posts and the BBB complaints, this is normal for this company. I have an attorney willing to take on this company if I can get enough people to join a class action to make it worth while. Wish I knew of some way of getting us all in contact. read more

In August of 2023, I contracted with Swap Specialties for a job on a vehicle, I sent the vehicle from Georgia to Michigan where they informed me that they would only have the vehicle for 3 to 4 weeks max, After 7 months I had to send and pick up my vehicle, I paid them $2500 to pick the veh up, when it got back to Georgia it was in worse shape than when I sent it to them and the computer was missing, Andy said, "oh yeah, when I tried to jump the vehicle off it shorted out the computer" and he had me another one ordered and it would be to me within a week, that was over 4 weeks ago and now they will not even respond to phone calls or emails. This company did nothing but lie from the very first time I spoke with them. I now they have ghosted me. Needless to say I , nor my customer are happy at all. I know that filing a complaint does me no good, but maybe it will help someone else in the future. All I want is what I was promised, a functioning computer that will crank and run my vehicle. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMANY. I purchased a LML Standalone harness from Andy Betz(the CEO of swap specialties). After paying for my harness ($2400) all of my calls were screened and emails were unanswered. I sent Andy a screen shot of my plane ticket after 3 months of being ignored. Almost immediately I got a response back saying my harness had shipped but he was having tuning issues with my ECM and TCM. He was going to reflash them and send them later that week. Well that was 6 months ago and I haven't heard from him or Katrina since. Countless emails and voicemails have been left. I have contacted BBB and the attorney general is checking into this as well. I had a friend call from a different number and they texted him back. It is February 7th almost 2 months later and I still can't get them to answer me.
