The swan changed hands a couple of years ago, I'm guessing mid summer of 2007. The pub is just that, a traditional pub with a very eclectic mix of people seemingly ranging from doctors and accountants to farm labourers. I think that's great. Always a good choice of basic food on the menu ranging from your typical (but nice pat'e) to say fresh lobster last night. Can truthfully say been there quite a few times over the past couple of years and have only had modestly priced well prepared and cooked food. Always seems to be nice people behind the bar, helpful and friendly. Good range of beers to include the local Harveys, which is always a good choice. All in all a traditional pub, offering quite a bit more than perhaps you would expect from the local, modestly priced dishes, served up by nice people. Could you expect any more from a local village pub? Not a lot more to say, and certainly nothing bad to whinge about. read more
