Not helpful. Couldn't answer my questions clearly and did not seem knowledgeable about medications.

I made an appointment with no problem online. I was a new patient, and it was fine checking in,…read moreexcept they didn't take care of the co-pay there. I saw a PA-C for a standard skin cancer screening. I will note that I have not been to a screening in about 10 years. So, I guess things have changed. The last time I went - I put on a gown, laid down and the dr looked over my ENTIRE body, inch by inch, thoroughly. Took at least 20-30 minutes. This time, though, I did have a gown on, but I sat up and she asked if I had any spots I was concerned with, so I showed her. She said they were fine (mind you, I have a lot of general sunspots, but one on my back is totally black - like nothing else I have). Then she just skimmed over my arms, back, legs and sort of moved my hair around to check my scalp somehow. It was kind of ridiculous. Over $300 for a 10-minute scan? Not very comforting. And now my insurance won't pay for another one for a year, so I have to wait - guess it gives me time to find another one!

Very disappointing experience with Pinnacle Dermatology. I booked an appointment a month in advance…read moreafter being told they offered the treatment/service I needed. After waiting all that time and showing up to the appointment, they suddenly told me that this office does not even provide that service. It was a complete waste of my time. The whole experience felt very unprofessional and misleading. It honestly seemed like the appointment was scheduled just so they could bill the insurance rather than actually help the patient. I would not recommend this office based on my experience.

After searching high and low for a dermatologist that had an appointment that was not months away,…read moreI called Dr. Hwang's office. The receptionist gave me an appointment for the same day. This gave me such joy because I was having some type of severe allergic reaction that was happening on my face. NOT a good look at all. I never had problems with my skin before, so I was kirking out! I know people were looking at me like, "I wonder what kind of disease she's walking around with". My face looked like I had the measles. I arrived early to fill out the necessary new patient insurance information. The receptionists were very nice and professional. Dr. Hwang's assistant called me in the office 15 minutes later and asked me a couple of questions and then the Dr. came in. Dr. Hwang looked at my face and told me that I had some type of reaction going on in my body that resulted in this severe overnight acne. He wrote me a prescription and gave me a coupon (even though I didn't need it with my insurance), and sent me on my way. I am happy to report that the medicine worked immediately. I plan on visiting my allergist next week to find out what other allergies I have developed that caused this problem. I am so happy that I found Dr. Hwang.

The reception staff isn't the most professional. The lady in the front was eating while taking my payment. I'm talk a full on meal, not a snack. The overbooked patients for the one doctor. I had about a 1/2 hour wait to see the doctor aside from the 15 minutes that I showed up early. The one bathroom in the office was so dirty. It looked like a rest stop bathroom and the hot water doesn't work. I mean, you turn it on and nothing happens. That's nasty! I'm in a doctor's office, a dermatologist at that, which means a few people have something skin related that's probably contagious. I know for sure, if they went to the bathroom, they did not wash their hands properly. That is nasty! Now, to the 3rd world patient's room. While walking down the hall to the room that I'll be examined in, the doctor was preforming a removal of something on this topless hairy guy's back. Why am I seeing this! Is there no discretion and respect for their patient's in this office. The door was wide open and they kept it that way during the whole procedure. I've never experienced anything like that from a doctor's office. Now to my examination. It was the shortest exam ever. I felt rushed or like I was bothering him asking too many questions. Don't get me wrong, he's nice and maybe his 2 minute diagnosis without touching or taking a skin sample is correct. Maybe he's just that good. But, I was not and am not convinced, solely off of the time I had already spent in his office. In conclusion, God willing, I will not return. Even if his diagnosis is correct. I won't return based off of the poorly managed office that gives me the impression that they don't have any respect for their patients.

Thi was the worst experience with a doctor that I have ever had. Note: I went three months ago and…read moresaw the allergist Dr. Curry and she was amazing. I stupidly thought that Dr. Robert would be the same. After scratching and itching with getting some kind of rash for the last couple months I figured a dermatology appointment was in order. I have an amazing guy dog travels with me and she does her job well. From the moment that Dr. Robert came in the room he barely acknowledged me and kept talking to the dog. This is so demeaning. Once I told him what I was going through, he started telling me that I was probably imagining things and that he did not see any type of skin issues. I recently struggled with an issue in my home that present itself with hives and such so he basically told me it probably was a mind thing in my head. The whole time he had his back to me. It was just a horrible experience and makes me wonder what people think of blind people. I am a blind professional and pay my own bills but unfortunately in the publics opinion that still makes me less. Finally when I was at my wits end and was just about to tell him to get lost, he promptly says bye to the dog and just walks out of the room. I am like OK, do I even exist or what? I definitely do not recommend this place and I am not going there in the future. The only reason why I am giving it three stars is because the front office staff was amazing.
