Had my first haitcust there on June 4th with Vinny Vigorito. What a fantastic excellent barber. My wife actually thought my hair looked fuller after the cut! Vinny takes his time and is very meticulous with his barbering. I would recommend any guy looking for a great haircut to try Vinny. read more

Danny Ruiz has amazing attention to detail and is extremely professional. I always walk away glad that I went to him.

Stopped in for the first time and did not have an appointment but the owner said sure no problem Maria can take you as soon as she's done with the customer she is working on now. I lucked out because Maria cut my hair perfectly and she also was fun to chat with while in the chair. Swagger is a great place! They are a busy shop so I suggest you make a reservation. read more

Best in town. Period. Worth your wait, which isn't long. And if so, Man, you can wait for this. They take their time with the cut, it's a REAL barbershop. They make art bro! You will come out feeling and looking good. Small town feel, which NJ it's almost impossible to experience. If it's your first time, ask for Justin, the owner... Phil and Lou are great. I go to Joe, thanks My Guy. Has been for years. That's how it is here-- you'll be back, nothing else will come close. read more

Swagger Barbershop - Barbers Near Me - Belford, New Jersey

See all

I've been going to Swagger for a few years now and have never been disappointed. I've had my hair cut by a few of their barbers and they always do a fantastic job. Great atmosphere, friendly barbers, attention to detail, this shop has it all! read more

My son has been going here since he was little. They all seem to give great cuts and for sure know what they are doing. Now my son just walks in and Justin (who cuts his hair) knows exactly what he wants. read more

There's a lot of room for improvement. The waits are too long because the barbers spend too much time gabbing and not cutting hair. I'm there for a great haircut, not for chat. The music is way too loud. Some of the barbers are obnoxious, yelling across the room, often obscenities, while there may be children in the room. I've seen it. I''ve had some good haircuts there but the last time was my worst. The barber was too busy gabbing to pay attention to what she was doing. She really did not care how it looked. She cut it too short, my sideburns were uneven, and it just looked like a bad haircut. The worst part is that the place is filthy. They do not sweep up or clean their stations after each client. So you are walking on and sitting in other people's hair and it gets in your clothes. Completely gross. A health code violation for sure. Grow up, people. Not everyone wants to have their hair cut in a filthy frat house. read more

I've been going to get my haircut here since sophomore year of high school (9 years at least). I've known Justin (the owner) for as long as I could remember too. I've changed hairstyles (buzzcut to scissor cut) & I have NEVER walked out of this place with a bad haircut. I've been to just about every barber that has worked here over the years; you can go to anyone here & walk out happy. Don't waste your money elsewhere. Spend it on the tip you'll give to Shadee for making you feel like a King! 10/10 recommend. read more

Nice "old style" barbershop run by a young guy with mostly young (male) barbers. Great atmosphere. Guys appear to like hanging out here, gabbing sports, etc. I'm very happy with the quality of service, and very reasonable prices. They shave your neckline, just like the old days. If you're a guy, and tired of going to places like Haircrafters and having your hair cut by a 20 something girl two weeks out of beauty school, this place is for you. It reminded me of my childhood in Brooklyn where you got haircuts in real barbershops from a bald guys named Luigi. All that was missing was the ancient dog-eared issues of Playboy and the "Police Gazette". Check out swagger. On a Saturday, they have five or six barbers, so the wait times are not unreasonable, and you can engage in debates about sports while you wait. read more

Seems like they got the "memo" about cell phone use while customers are in the chair Very pleasant haircut very nice barber read more

Great barbershop! The haircuts are done well and it's a professional establishment. Been to some great barbershops but most are not places that I would send my wife and child without me. These guys are class acts. Shout out to Justin, Jay and Phil as they are top notch and always do a great job on my hair and my son's. There's a reason that the waits are long sometimes and their reliability is appreciated. read more

Great place to get a haircut. Barbers are pros with shears and buzzers, great location, and outstanding prices. I am very particular about what little hair I have left, I went here for years and they never let me down, they were able to handle both my military and civilian cuts. read more

Just visited Swagger 2.0 on Palmer Ave in Middletown. Best haircut I have ever received! I've known about Swagger and Swagger 2.0 for a while, but today was my first haircut there. Been growing my hair for over two years and I finally had enough, decided to get it cut faded and short. The level of detail and attentiveness was nothing I've ever experienced, and I've been to salons that charge three times what I paid here. Wasn't a 'pick which style"or "what number clip do you want" situation. They cut my hair to my specific desire and utilized countless tools to shape and define every inch of my head and beard. I was lucky that I immediately was able to get into a chair, never felt rushed, the opposite actually. Amazing experience, and friendly, attentive staff. Greatly appreciated! read more
