II've come to this location 3 times in the last 5 years. The staff is always different, but the attitude and service remains the same degree of disappointing.
The woman that works in front and sells the actual glasses (optician?) was incredibly rude and unhelpful. This was the tall, pretty lady with black hair and an accent. She didn't explain how the process works, as in - my insurance pays "x" amount which can go towards any frames (which I learned later while discussing my experience with a friend). I tried asking questions, but her responses were very short and clipped and she offered no follow up information. Quite frankly, she treated me as if she thought I was poor, Medicaid trash, not worthy of her time because (she assumed) I wouldn't be a high income client. I left feeling really upset.
I am inexperienced when it comes to this process, so didn't know what to expect. I thought the staff would explain everything, but every person here was uninterested in communicating. It's like they're all in their own world.
I hate my glasses. They're so ugly, I'll never wear them in front of another human. The options at this location are limited between cheap, ugly insurance-covered glasses and ridiculously expensive name brand ones. read more
