When I called Speedy Mobile RV Repair on a Saturday morning, not only did a kind, understanding representative answer the phone, Demi, she also offered to make an appointment while we were still at the campsite within a couple days. The Technician, Carter, that came was clean cut, intelligent and thorough. He took the time to to check each and every thing was able to diagnosed the many issues and explained it all to us. He offered to put a rush on the replacement parts when we told him we had a trip coming up to visit and support our granddaughter in a school play. Well...they did just that :) When we called with questions, Demi always answered the phone ! Again...this is Speedy Mobile RV Repair! They truly are the best. They kept us up to date with the parts delivery and even made an appointment for the repairs as they waited for the last one of the parts to arrive. On the day the Technician, Carter was scheduled to come, he contacted us to give us a half hour span of time for his arrival ! A half hour !! When my husband told me Carter would be here between 9:00 - 9:30 I thought 9:00 am to 21:00. Nope 9:00 am - 9:30 am ....just amazing. Carter replaced all the "burnt" 12V devises, tested them and was finished within a couple hours+. Wow! This company has been the best from my first panic call to the completion of the job ...no stress... the best customer service and I am so thankful for them ....and would highly recommend Speedy Mobile ! True and they keep their word to help in a timely manner: This is Speedy Mobile RV repair story: I am happy to report that it is True and they keep their word to help in a timely manner: "Born From Frustration, Fueled by Passion - The Speedy Mobile RV Repair Story My journey began in 2021 when I purchased a brand-new 2022 Alliance Valor Toy Hauler 5th Wheel from a large dealership in the Tampa Bay area. What should have been an exciting day quickly turned into frustration when I discovered several issues--one serious enough to require immediate attention before I could even leave the lot. Over the next 2 1/2 years and 15,000 miles on the road, I faced more problems--some minor, others major structural concerns. Each time repairs were needed, I encountered the same challenges: long wait times at dealerships and poor-quality work that left me feeling overlooked and disappointed. Hoping for a better experience, I turned to mobile RV technicians. But even then, the results were hit or miss. Many didn't return calls for days, some didn't show up for scheduled service appointments, and the quality of work varied greatly from one tech to the next. As a self-employed business owner for over 20 years, I knew there had to be a better way. With my wife's encouragement, we decided to put our experience running businesses to work in the RV repair industry. We believed that by focusing on the basics--answering the phone, returning calls promptly, employing certified and licensed technicians, and communicating clearly with our customers--we could deliver a level of service that RV owners deserve. That's how Speedy Mobile RV Repair was born. Today, we're committed to providing professional, dependable service right at your door--so you can spend less time worrying about repairs and more time enjoying the road ahead."

Some of the positive reviews here I'm skeptical of... New ac installed by someone who had only 2…read moremonths experience of in-house training by the owner Ryan, with no prior experience (his words when I asked how long he's been doing this for). Misleading website of trained techs. AC was installed backwards, noticing it didn't look right on the roof then catching the tech before he drove away telling him this, then came back reinstalling it. This was pretty head shaking to me. Ryan also misled me when I inquired about other brands/models of ac units I had wanted installed telling me it needed to be the same brand to fit properly when after the fact I discovered that there are simple conversion kits allowing you to install other brands. He didn't want to bother bc he had this particular unit in stock, more convenient for him. Immediately I noticed the new unit wasn't cooling as well as the old one, calling him the next week but ended up having to leave several texts and voice message bc he wasn't responding to anything until an entire week later and w/a 'Tude as if I was inconveniencing him. Then brushed off my concerns of the unit not cooling that well saying it was new as if to say there's nothing wrong with it, it's me. Discouraged, I didn't bother having him come back using the rig over the course of the year until the unit started leaking water onto the living room floor. Bc I didn't want to deal w/him initially I tried to do my own due diligence and went onto the roof to see if there was a drainage issue etc. Noticed some sections of fins on the evaporator coil were badly dented/bent which was caused by the initial installation. Another thing I checked out was the bolts that secure the unit to the roof were not all tightened down, even loose. Since I could not find the issue I reluctantly called Ryan bc it was still under warranty. The day he was scheduled to come he called 3 different times going to 2 wrong addresses and kept saying each time I'm 20 mins away then arriving almost 2 hrs later, mind you I texted him my address, was very odd. He had a helper, yet another person w/out experience he was training. Told Ryan I had taken the ac shroud off only installing two of the screws back in but I would give him the other screws I had in the camper for when he was finishing up. Even though I told both of them about the screws he only reinstalled those 2 screws back in not bothering to get the other screws, even though Ryan went in and out of the rig passing by the screws on the counter. They ended up having to repair the initial improper install doing lots of trimming of the frame where the unit mounts onto the interior box, adding more sealing inside the box, and repairing the fins. All this fixed the water issue as well as it was now noticeably cooler inside a year later... Obviously, the part of the ac was escaping into the air on the roof this whole time. Remember I called Ryan the first week after install a year ago telling him it was not blowing that cold and he blew me off?! All this time it was bc the inexperienced tech installed it improperly. The kicker is, all the other screws that secured the shroud onto the unit were not reinstalled, still on the counter inside the rig where Ryan had been in and out of several times. They only reinstalled the 2 screws that I had left up there, not installing all of them. Thankfully I realized this, bc could you imagine traveling down the highway w/only 2 screws holding your ac shroud and the serious danger it would present to people driving behind you if it blew off?! Called and texted Ryan regarding this - NOTHING, no response, deja vu of a year ago trying to reach out to him. The owner himself can't even complete this simple last task of a job. Needless to say I had to climb back up on the roof and install the other 6 screws... Some of the positive reviews seem manufactured by friends, while others seem legit but there are some other negative reviews that are consistent w/my experience. Really wonder if the owner is self-taught or even certified. Push comes to shove he's unprofessional, does shoddy work, and has inexperienced people.

This guy is literally a thief. I initially contacted Todd Barber and All Around Town Mobile RV…read moreRepair on October 24, 2023. I have an RV that I rent out, and the repairman I usually use had come out to diagnose an issue with the refrigerator. He told me what parts I needed, but the RV was rented starting on 11/1/23, but he was going to be out of town and would not be able to get the work done in time since the parts needed to be ordered. I found All Around Town Mobile RV Repair on Google, and called the phone number listed (727-860-9753). I received a call back from someone who identified himself as Todd Barber, the owner, and told me that he would definitely be able to get the parts and work done by 11/1/23. Todd then texted me at 9:42pm on 10/24/23 from (727) 900-6260, saying that he had found the parts and could have them here in 2 days. I called Todd the next morning (10/25/23), and he said that he had been scammed by customers in the past, and so he now makes customers pay up front for parts. Therefore, he told me that I had to pay him by PayPal for the part that day. He also told me that I had to classify it as a "friends and family" payment on PayPal, because otherwise he would not be able to access the funds right away and wouldn't get the part here in time for the upcoming rental. He sent me screenshots of the part listings he had found online. The costs for the 2 parts, with shipping, were $67.61 and $269.40, for a total of $337.01. Unfortunately, I was working at the time and didn't really look at these numbers. Todd then sent me a PayPal request for $484.43. I asked him via text whether this amount was for both parts, which he confirmed. On October 25, 2023, I sent him $484.43 via PayPal. Todd confirmed by text receiving the money and said that he would place the order that day and send me the invoice as confirmation. At 5:43pm on October 25, I asked him again via text if he had placed the order. He confirmed that he had placed the order and would send the invoice to me. Having not received it, on October 26 at 3:59pm, I sent him another text asking for the invoice/receipt. He confirmed that it was at his office and hadn't had a chance to send it to me yet. I reminded him that I needed the parts installed before 11/1/23 for the rental. I even asked him if he wanted to just return my money, which he replied that I had nothing to worry about, etc. Later that evening, he even asked me to confirm my email address, apparently to send the receipt. On October 27, 2023 at 10:14AM, I again texted him asking for the receipt. I texted him again at 11:30AM and 3:58PM. I did not receive a response to any of these messages. On October 28, 2023, I texted him again asking if he was really going to just steal my money. Again, I received no response. On November 2, 2023 at 9:12AM, I received an email from Alexandra Jeweet (alex@allaroundtownrvrepair.com) stating that Todd had a seizure on 10/26/23 and was in the hospital, but she would process a refund that day, and I should have the funds within 2-3 business days. I immediately thought this was suspicious. First, if they returned the money through PayPal, it would be returned immediately and would not take 2-3 days. Secondly, I read on All Around Town's Google reviews and Better Business Bureau reviews that other customers had similar experiences where Todd claimed to have been in the hospital and then promised to return money that customers had already paid him. In those reviews, the customers had never received their promised refunds. Furthermore, one of the Better Business Bureau reviews said that the customer was suspicious that Todd was lying, and had called around to local hospitals and couldn't find a record of Todd being hospitalized. Therefore, I responded stating that if I did not have the money returned by 3:00PM that day, I would be calling the police. Of course, I did not receive any money or response, so I called the police that afternoon. On November 5, 2023 at 6:47 PM, I received a text from Todd stating that he planned on returning my money. As of November 12, 2023, I have not heard anything further from Todd, nor has he returned any part of the $484.43 he stole. The police officer has now given him until tomorrow to return the money before charges are officially filed.
