I came to this chocolatier because I heard that it was an old Danish candy producer. I wanted to buy gifts from Denmark, and wanted them to be authentic.
At the store, which was in the middle of the Frederiksbergcentret I might add, the lady was really kind to me. However, after buying two chocolate pieces, and tasting them over the course of two days, as well as buying both normal caramel and chocolate caramel as gifts, I found that the actual quality of the sweets is not that great. It's good, but I tried getting treats from a few different brands, and the others that I bought were, (albeit more expensive), better. The quality is fine, not amazing, but fine. Good for its price. Definitely where I would go if I wanted to buy a quick cool-looking gift. It's certainly not cheap, and it's an old brand. There are, however, in my opinion, better bets in Danish delicacy to choose from. read more
