Before booking an appointment, I reached out and informed her that I was interested in a peel but was unsure if I was a good candidate for one and after talking about my skin concerns and history, she developed a what we call a "baby peel" so my skin wouldn't be extremely irritated afterwards. The appointment itself was great. She was very timely and responsive to my needs and concerns. We ended up doing a chocolate glycolic based peel (if I'm not mistaken) which smelled heavenly and I didn't feel like my face was burning off. Her attention to detail and technique was great and it was truly a great session. Based on past basic facials, she was very thorough in the process and finished in a timely fashion. The peel itself was great. We kept in touch days after the peel where she gave me tips specific to my reaction (I had some peeling as expected) and approved my products I asked about using for post care. As with anything, get to your goal and always maintain, otherwise, you will have failed everything. Tixel - 2 or 3 times per year.......2026 - Present * This is a GAME CHANGER! It is Microneedling on acid lol! It does everything Microneedling does, but with more intensity resulting in more noticeable improvements. The game changer for me was that Tixel was able to flatten sebaceous glands on my face!!! Only my dermatologist can do this and she has to use a laser that literally burns them on my face, leaving my red almost raw skin to heal from the burning. Tixel does not do that at all!!! It just flattens them and I was thoroughly IMPRESSED AND SOLD! * I asked my dermatologist about Tixel and she relayed, in part, "...that [Tixel] laser beats microneedling and just about any peels you do..."
