This package store used to be so close to me, and even when I'm not as close anymore I still come here sometimes. They have a great selection of Beer, Wine, Rum and Tequila. They have so much more but that is what I'm usually looking for. There isn't plenty of parking but personally I've never had any issues with it. The staff is also very helpful and they're not annoying at all. They let you do your own thing but they're willing to help if you need to. Stopped by and picked up an 8 pack of a beverage in the cooker. Price on the shelf stated $19.99 but when I went to pay for it came up as $22.99. When we questioned it, the owner went back to the shelf and changed the price tag. It goes to show you he had no problem cheating customers. It's a small amount but it's the principle of it. I called four different liquor stores looking for a specific alcohol for my husband. They were the only ones that had it. And their price was the same as the price of the liquor store attached to Costco. The person on the phone was very polite. When I got to the store the next day I was warmly greeted. Then another gentleman could probably tell I was looking for something and he asked if he could help me. He showed me exactly where the bottle was that I was seeking. As I was going to pay, there was a sale cart. It had a premixed Jose Cuervo margarita mix in it in a flavor I have never tried. When I asked the guy at the cash register he didn't know the answer to my question about that drink but he called someone else over. Instead of lying to me they both just told me they didn't know the answer. I appreciated that. We laughed about it being a great price and worth a try. The young man at the cash register then offered to carry my box out to my car even though there was someone else in line. He just got a co worker to come to the register. That was a really nice touch. I will definitely stop in here again. For those complaining about the location, it is super easy to turn down the street before the building and enter the parking lot and exit it that way. It keeps you from going up the awkward hill right into the busy street. There is plenty of parking. read more

This place is jam packed with every alcohol or mixer you would need for a party, dinner, or specialty cocktail and if they don't have it they will get it for you. The aisles are labeled to help you find your way around and there are also knowledge staff members who can help you find what you need. I normally add vermouth to my gin martinis but had one at a restaurant that contained elderflower. I went to Suwanee Package and tried to determine where I'd find this liqueur. After 5 minutes of cluelessly searching aisles in this huge building, I asked a helpful employee who had offered his services when I came in. He knew exactly where to take me and then discussed the merits of the two different brands. I was impressed that he possessed that knowledge and took away exactly what I was looking for...and in a beautiful bottle to boot! read more

Definitely my favorite package store, however not located in a fun area. the area has a very steep hill to get to it, and coming back up it is a pain too. other than that, this is a store that has it all. the staff is very friendly, and the prices are quite reasonable. I typically come in here for Tito's Vodka (around $30.99 per bottle). They also have the liquor split apart from the beer and wine. it is a clean facility as soon as you walk, and they also sell lottery tickets here as well! read more

Unfortunately i think this is the closest *good* liquor store to me. I was trying to stock up my bar cart and as soon as i got in, i got so overwhelmed with all the options. Thankfully, i had made a list and loaded up my cart. Whatever it is, they have it. You do have to be careful because you might end up going to get a bottle of vodka and leave with 6 bottles of premium wines and liquor and 2 bottles of vodka. Nice place, decent selection. It looks a little seedy and the staff is not the friendliest. ...Though that unfriendliness could have had something to do with the circumstances of my last visit. I was planning to make some chocolate coffee cupcakes with espresso buttercream frosting, and the recipe called for a bottle of Kahlua. I went to the package store on my lunch break on my work from home day. It had been raining outside, as it's been wont to do for the past several months, and the pavement in front of the store was wet and slick. I'm very clumsy, and falling on my butt is kind of a fact of life for me. So when I walked up to the liquor store, I immediately slipped and fell down so hard I scraped my knee. Ouch! Since I work pretty early on Wednesdays, it was only around 11 am when I took my lunch break. So there I was, walking into a liquor store at 11 am after falling down right in front of it. I'm pretty sure that the store employees thought I was some kind of crazy drunk because they were looking at me a little oddly when I went up to pay for my bottle of Kahlua. read more

I can't say if Suwanee Package has something for everyone, but it has what I like and that's enough for me! My local resource for Luxardo cherries (hard to find in the suburbs) and moscato d'asti. Outside of Total Wines I think they have the widest selection of moscato d'asti I have seen. The crowd here is serious about their alcohol. They know what they want and they are in, out and done. Staff is a definite presence and you feel they are there to help but not too in-your-face about it. Store is pretty no-frills, but prices are reasonable. Watch out for the parking lot - I see a near-miss or two every time I come. read more

The search for a perfect small package store is over. this would be my go-to cider store from now on. The selections are much more than I expected and more than Gwinnett Package price is unbeatable, at least for the ciders I bought. yes, the service are below average but it may be that they are too busy. It is best that you know what you want to buy before going there. read more

I was impressed because the employees knew so much about wines. I'm still fairly new to liquor stores ( I'm 21) but they taught me a good bit. Every Sat. from 1-3 they have a wine tasting for $3. Cheap! I haven't been, because I'm usually working, but I will go one day. read more

I arrived at this location at 10:28 pm today and they had the doors locked. It wasn't too far, but I had driven about 15 min to get here before 10:30pm when they closed. He looked me right in my face and said no. It is now 10:33 pm. I knew exactly what I wanted. This is horrible customer service and shows they do not value profit. Do not go here the prices are already higher than other package stores and he basically ignored me when I tried to get his attention and reference the time. I hate when business close early because they want to leave. If you close at 10:30 lock the doors at exactly 10:30, not earlier I drove there because I specifically knew the closing time. I called looking for a specific item. They had 1 bottle left and the gentleman saved it for me (about 1 hour). When I got there I looked around and they had some very hard to find bourbons. I left with more than I expected! Staff was friendly, the selection was great and the price was as expected as well. I may have found my new favorite liquor store. read more

John, one of the employees there, followed me and my girlfriend around the entire time harassing us. He may have been a manager. I believe he was racially profiling us because when someone else came in of a different race, he did not bother them. I asked repeatedly that he leave us alone while I look for what I wanted, but he persisted and was rude. He followed me out even as we made our purchase and left. I will never give them my money ever again. They obviously have a problem with people different from them. I will tell as many people as possible what happened. read more
