This station has a taxi cab office next door on your left and cycle parking on your right. They also have a big car park which you can go through a corridor in the station also their is another entrance to the car park on the main road. The usual ticket machines and offices are their, with a Metro Newspaper stand. Their are toilets facilities provided as well. Their are waiting rooms on the two platform with adequate heating facilities. My only gripe is that the station does not have a electronic time board to tell me when trains are coming or delayed. I know the station was opened in 1929 but perleese update this station in 2015!

All trains traveling both ways along the line stop here. There are perfectly adequate male toilets and waiting rooms on both platforms, and female toilets in the station foyer along with ticket machines and a kiosk. There is a car park with lots of CCTV hidden from view from the main Watford Road (A412), access is via the entrance to Jewsons (a builders merchant). Across the road from the station there is a local shopping parade including a newsagents but there are no shops in within the station.

Trains are frequent and fast, and the coffee stand on platform 5 is a nice treat in the morning.

It's a nice station that is a bit more "overground" than "underground", meaning that it just doesn't look like a Tube station. Pinner is in Travelcard Zone 5, between North Harrow and Northwood Hills on the Amersham/Chesham branch. Trains from here into London go to Baker Street and sometimes further. There is a staffed ticket booth and automated ticket vending machines as well as the usual ticket barricades and Oyster readers. Surprisingly, this station is completely step-free, which earns it a fourth star in my rating guidelines. Just outside and across the way is a full-size Sainsbury's and a mini-cab taxi office is attached to the station. Note that the Tube does not run all night. There is a last train into London,generally between 12:00-12:30 am on weeknights and 11:30-12:00 on Sunday's.

During peak times,only All Stations or Semi-fast trains stops at Pinner so the frequency is but less compared to Harrow-on-the-hill but not a big issue. If I happen to get a slow train I jump into a fast at Harrow-on-the-hill. The southbound platform has a news agents and also toilet facilities reminding one of how stations were in the past. A good mix of old and new the station is a small two platform one. The main entrance to the station is to the south-bound however the northbound has an exit which is open during peak times which is convenient for me. The station car park is huge and is attached to a large Sainsbury's.

In a way this is simply another London Underground station, though it doesn't interchange with any…read moreother lines. No doubt this is probably because it really exists only to service an area that, without the station, would be pretty underserviced. However, a short walk from the station is the Tate Britain, and there are some nice pubs around here as well.

While…read moresome of the entrances feature ramps down almost to the ticket concourse, there are still steps. And an escalator down from the ticket concourse to the platform level. It is between Victoria and Vauxhall stations and has the usual ticket barricades and Oyster readers. The station seems to show it's age and doesn't appear to have been modernized much since it was opened in the 1970's. Rather than the usual roundels, the ones in the stations are backlit. Weird.

Serving only the Northern line's "Charing Cross" branch, the platforms are accessed by one of three lifts ("elevators" to Americans) and a few stairs. It is in Travelcard Zone 1, between Leicester Square (technically, Tottenham Court Road after Nov 2011) and Warren Street. If you're not feeling up to the lifts, you might want to consider the stairs. They're clearly marked as having over 100 steps, so give yourself a heart attack (or a cardio workout) if you're looking for a good time. Not. Tip: The lift does not operate automatically. You actually have to press the button to tell it to go to the street or the platform. The doors operate very slowly with an audible warning sound.

If you're willing to put up with a 90 minute ride with several stops compared to a 24 minute "fast" ride with no stops to Paddington. The cars I've ridden have been clean and bright in a pretty red livery. But they don't have power outlets. Sadly, my laptop can't always survive an hour and a half. These are more the "local" style commuter trains.

We were able to pick up their national train from the Waterloo station. We pre-purchased tickets online and were able to redeem them at one of the kiosks. It was 10 pounds per person each way. We were kind of sad, because, there was no one checking the tickets, we could have just gotten on. But us being tourists we wanted to be legit. The ride to Windsor is a little over an hour and both trips are the final destination. You can nap pretty easily as when they arrive you will wake up. It's not too pricey and the ride is smooth.

North Greenwich Station is a London Underground and Emirates Air Line Station which serves The O2…read moreArena - unlike most stations towards the East London (Canada Water, Stratford, Canar Wharf etc) end of the Jubilee line, it is mainly an overpowering dark blue colour which makes the station feel less modern - not only that the station seems to get dirty really quickly because of its' design and it looks like a red herring and is out of sync/order to the preceding stations - I'm not sure if this is due to it serving The O2 arena which is sponsored by O2 who's logo is that shade of blue and that's the closest to sponsorship you're going to get on the London Underground. Overall, the station was pretty easy to follow with two lifts (fully step-free from tube to the street) rather than having to walk a distance longer than your actual journey which is far too common and frustrating at other stations in Central London. The Station also has a WHSmith, but it is a poor branch - right across the way you have multiple shops, restaurants and a Starbucks inside The O2 which is handy. The station is in Zone 2 and 3, meaning if you want to travel into central London afterwards and pay via OYSTER or contactless it is capped at £7 per day which is a really good deal. It is also served by multiple bus services which are handy. They had a message of good-will and positivity right on the station balcony near the lifts between the ticket-gates and platforms which was nice to see. It's a shame I didn't get those good, friendly vibes from the staff at the ticket-gates who just seemed miserable, albeit I would be if I had to work Underground with only intermittent Virgin station wifi to keep me going. Obviously built for the O2 Arena access but still a fine tube station in its own right despite it being sponsored all but in name by O2 - nothing spectacular obviously. 3*
