I was greeted at the front desk and from there I had a few paperwork to fill out. I then walked in with my son ( 4 years old) who had a tongue tied procedure that day. It was the first time I meet Dr. Tau ( my husband was there the first time) She was remarkable polite and so was our dental assistant. They both answered ALL my questions ( and I had quite a few) and they were so professional. She explained to me each step she did. Dr.Tau and the dental assistance took the time to explain to me what I should expect after the procedure is done. I was a nervous wreck walking into it. but seeing the professionalism, I felt at ease. Highly recommended!

My daughter had two teeth pulled and a cap on one of her molars. They administered laughing gas, calmed her nerves with jokes and checked in on her regularly. I was able to sit with her and even give her a little foot massage while they worked. How FAST they were! I sincerely wish these were my providers because my child felt no needles (she was given two and SWEARS she had zero), and they were done with everything in 15 mins. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I was given no communication as to what color her cap would be. It's on her first molar so when she smiles- she now looks like a pirate jack-o'-lantern with her silver fang gleaming in the sun... Either way- this will be our dentist for a long while, hopefully!! Your kiddos will appreciate you looking for a dentist that caters to children. Definitely a staple in our community for The Littles!!

Went here for a couple years for cleanings for my kids which were fine. They were able to treat…read morecavities using gas and it was a good experience until we were told my oldest needed braces, and we went in for a consult. The took pictures of her teeth and said that insurance would take around a year to get approved, but we should call them back if we heard before or we could pay before and hope for the best. They also quoted an amount that I thought was very high for phase one of braces. We never heard back from them but decided to get a second opinion on the braces. The second place agreed she needed braces but quotes a much lower price, said insurance would only take a short while to approve and we were able to get her in braces that day. We went back for a cleaning for her a few months later...they asked us why she had braces as she didn't need them yet?? so strange since they were the ones that told us she needed braces to begin with. At that same appointment they told us our younger daughter needed a crown and multiple cavities filled. We again went for a second opinion and low and behold no crown needed. All trust lost at this point, and we will not be back.

Limited appointment openings, appointments cancelled by provider last minute, appointments for two small children that were supposed to be back to back being done at the same time (I can't be beside both children simultaneously!), and practitioners who seemed to be completely untrained in working with children. My daughter is outgoing, well spoken, and friendly. However, of course a practitioner forcing their way into her mouth with no warning would be alarming!) ***The folks here in Millis worked with my child, made sure she was comfortable, repeatedly told her she was doing a great job, and let her do things like feel their gloves and masks with her fingers before going into her mouth. After we were seated, forty minutes after our appointment time, an assistant asked whether nitrous oxide would be used, which I declined. The dentist then entered the room without washing her hands and did not introduce herself or confirm my son's identity. She did not explain that she intended to proceed with an extraction. She briefly referenced a "bite block" without clarifying the nature of the procedure. Without obtaining informed consent, the dentist administered Novocaine and exited the room, again without washing her hands. After the injection, an assistant presented an iPad for consent. I asked what I was being asked to sign and was told to "read the iPad." The dentist then returned and extracted the tooth. Post-procedure instructions were provided only after the extraction was completed. At no point prior to Novocaine administration or extraction was informed consent obtained. Additionally, I observed a lack of hand hygiene upon entry and exit, which was concerning as the dentist continued to see other patients. I raised these concerns during the visit. My feedback was dismissed and met with explanations rather than acknowledgment.
